Coming to stage (intro RP, new guy)

Tsaryingrad
31-08-2005, 13:49
(OOC: Alright everyone thanks for clicking and reading this RP. I am still new to this whole business so please be nice. I am going to try to explain my nation’s background a little bit so don’t fall asleep if I’m boring. Criticism is encouraged)

Tsar Samuel V Anakis was sitting in his waiting room with his favorite Tsaryingradian newspaper, The Imperial Globe, smiling softly under his great red beard. While most of the real power had been taken from the title of Tsar by the Confederate Senate and Chairman some of the members of the Imperial House still held power, in particular was the Tsar’s daughter the Despoina Kimberly and her husband Despotes Ronaldo. The Despotate Couple was the heir to the thousand year throne of Tsaryingrad and widely popular with the youth of Tsaryingrad. The reason for the Tsar’s smile was that Kimberly, who vowed just a year before that she would get in politics, was the heart of the “Royal Empowerment Party”, a major political movement, which advocated the abolishment of the Chairmanship and the relocation of the powers of the Chairman to the Tsar.

“The people are simple minded” the Tsar thought to himself as he turned his paper “They can not govern themselves forever, soon they will return to me like children who have realized they are not ready to make their own decisions” Just then the door opened and a butler walked in. “Yes?” asked the Tsar, whose voice was deep and rich. “Her Majesty the Despoina is here to see you” “Send her in, send her in!”

A few moments later the Despoina Kimberly Anakis, who had her father’s red hair and her mother’s slim figure and green eyes, walked into the room and made a curtsey to the Tsar. “Father” she began “I know how much you dislike to… but I need you to appear before the Senate”. The Tsar’s eye twitched, he hated the Senate, and given the chance he often confided to his wife Sophie he would plant a bomb in the Senate building. “Why do you need me to be present, Kimberly? I am nothing in eyes of those fools, just a jester for them to laugh at”. The Despoina stared at her feet “I need you to be there because…. Your presence is a comfort to me and what I am about to purpose will not be popular I am afraid” The Tsar softened “If you need me to be there my little redtop” he said using one his pet names for Kimberly “Then I’ll be there, I promise”

LATER

The Tsar ordered the entire family to be present at the Senate, although it was to endure the endless ramblings about democracy from the Chairman. In fact just being in the same room as the Chairman, who always made a big show out of calling the Tsar, 'Citizen Anakis’, was . But they were there for Kimberly, and that was all that mattered to the Tsar, even if he wanted to strangle the Chairman. Once entering the magnificent golden Senate hall, which the Tsar often thought in his black moods was an awful extravagance for a government that claimed equality for all; the Imperial Family took their seats in the Visitor’s Galley.

“Order! Order!” yelled the Master of the Senate, a large order man with a stomach to match his voice “This, the 50th convention of the Senate of the Confederacy, shall come to order!” the Senate quieted down and the Chairman took his position on the central dais “All rise!” bellowed the Master “For his Right Honorable Excellency, Chairman Phocas Lucian, has arrived!” the entire room stood, except for the Tsar and his family, then once everyone had sat back down the Chairman motioned a band struck up the national anthem, which again everyone sang except for the Tsar and his family. “Citizen Anakis” the Chairman said once the singing concluded “Why didn’t you and your family show me respect or sing?” The Tsar’s veins bulged on his neck and forehead in anger at the pompous bureaucrat looking down at him, but the gentle hand of Tsaritya Sophie on his shoulder helped him calm down. “You know full well the answer to that question Chairman” the Tsar said finally. “Really, Citizen Anakis you should let this obsession with authority go…” just then a gavel banged, it was the Despoina Kimberly, “Chairman Lucian please stop badgering my father” she said firmly. The Chairman gave a bow “As you wish mil’lady” the Despoina then added “And please show respect to my father by calling him by his title. He may powerless but my father is still Tsar and your king”. The Chairman smiled “With all due respect mil’lady this is a democracy, no one is in authority over anyone else”. There was a brief lull caused by the Chairman’s words before the meeting began in earnest.

The senators had been arguing, debating, and yelling for about 2 hours before the Despoina stood with a paper in her hands. “Esteemed Senators and Representatives” she began “The time has come now for us to reenter the world stage. For too long we have been cut off form the world, but no longer!” The Despoina paused and looked for her father, who smiled warmly, and she started speaking again with more confidence “Tsaryingrad must take its proper place as a world power, or we will wither and die!” The Senate erupted in an uproar; not even the bellowing of the Master of the Senate could restore order. Finally things calmed down and the Chairman banged his gavel “The Despoina has a legitimate proposal, I move to implement it”. An hour later the Despoina was all smiles as she met her family as they left the Visitor’s Galley. “Oh Papa!” she said hugging the Tsar tightly “I am so happy that my proposal passed the vote!” The Tsar grinned at his daughter “And what will you do with your new position redtop?” “Well I am going to make my announcement first, and then I’ll see about getting some aid for our cause…”

An Official Message of the Confederacy of Tsaryingrad

“Hello to whoever receives this message. I am Kimberly Anakis, official diplomatic representative of the Confederacy of Tsaryingrad. My nation has been cut off from the rest of the world for several hundred years, due to internal struggles which culminated in the deposing of the powers of the Tsar and the Imperial House, of which I am a member. I ask for the nations of the world to please open relations with us so that we can take our place in the community once again. Thank you”

Official Imperial Communique-

From the Office of the Imperial Diplomatic Council, Presiding Chairman Colonel Vladek Chernitsky

To: Despoina Kimberly Anakis

The Empire notes with some interest the recent history of your nation and the standing situation following the abolition of the Imperial royal house and the establishment of a democratic system. As we Generians are a curious people and because General Nikit Vrantasha of the Imperial Military Governing Council has recently requested I look into the matter, I will take the liberty of extending an offer for the establishment of diplomatic ties and an exchange of diplomatic ambassadors that our nations may forge a working relationship and a greater understanding of each other and the world at large. Furthermore, as General Vrantasha has requested it, I would humbly request the audience of the Czar in Generia for discussion regarding both your nation's recent history and the future. I hope that our offers and invitation will prove satisfactory.

The Despoina strode in the new Diplomatic Corps office, a gym actually that was converted into the office of the new Diplomatic Corps. 'Reminder to self: Talk to Lucian about an actual office with in a month' Kimberly thought to herself as she took position behind her desk, which Kimberly noted happily was made of oak as she requested.

"Your Majesty" said a young courier bowing in front of the Despoina's desk "A letter has arrived, from the Generian Empire" he then hands the letter to the Despoina who reads it and then sets her pen to paper.

Presiding Chairman Colonel Vladek Chernitsky,

Your offer of opening relations is most satisfactory to me, you may send your ambassadors to our capital of Anakgrad, further directions are not in my field of power quite yet sadly. Where might we send our ambassadors? As meeting your general, I think that I might be able to convince the Chairman of the Senate, Phocas Lucian, to allow my father, the Tsar, to act as diplomat

Yours,

Joyous, another Tsar. I thought we got rid of your kind when the Mississippian Federation fell. No matter, I see that the 'Senate' has power over the Tsar; even though it only makes it a constitutional monarchy, it is still a monarchy. Thus, I have petitioned the Supreme Soviet and the Political Bureau to keep relations from coming about between the CCCP and the nation of Tsaryingrad. I do hope they heed my warning.

I see that 'the Tsardom' has entered the world stage. Heh. The Soviet people congratulate the Tsaryingradians on their attempt to make some form of democracy. However, we urge them to go farther and try to get a step farther than fuedalism next time. Social evolution or revolution is always the question. We welcome the people of Tsaryingrad to the world, yet, we do wish the 'Royal Family' would kindly go back to the 17th century or to whatever part of Africa the Fabus family are hiding in.

The Empire is pleased by your decision to agree to an exchange of embassies, and has already taken steps to prepare a building in Generia City to serve as the Tsaryingrad embassy. All security will be provided by Imperial military forces, however we are willing to permit you to send a security detachment of your own to protect the facility should it be your desire. Regarding a meeting between the Tsar and General Vrantasha, it would please the Imperial Government to no end if you could convince your senate chairman to permit his Grace to act as a diplomat as you have suggested.

The Empire hopes that these steps will ensure a prosperous working relationship between our governments for the benefit of all parties.

Haha! The National Front? Haha... My comrades fought the National Front, Mississippian National Front, and Kahtan National Front in order to liberate the oppressed peoples from the capitalists and Christian fundamentalists that bore down upon them. Was your nation that isolated? The Fabus family was the ruling families of the Mississippian Federation - Czar Roger Fabus - and Kahta - Czar Sam Fabus, MacDonald. The Soviet Union, Sevaris, and other allies united in order to bring down their Falangist, Fabusist, and Calvinist tyranny and helped bring about democratic rule over their former territories. From what I heard last, the Fabus family were in exile somewhere in sub-Sahara Africa. How fitting that racist pigs are forced to live amongst those that they utterly despised. How ironic that the capitalist fuedal lords are forced to live amongst the peasantry and proletariat. Heh, a unique punishment for those who despise all three.

The Senate was abuzz with the recent news of the opening of relations between Tsaryingrad and other nations. Now the Despoina, carrying the Genarian letter, banged her gavel for silence.

"Chairman Lucian" she began "I hold in my hand a letter from Genaria, they request a meeting between their General Vrantasha and my father. Will you allow him to go?" An eeire calm fell over the Senate, never in the entire history of the Confederacy had any sitting Senate allowed any Tsar to leave the country.

"I move we allow the Tsar to leave for this meeting, it is obivious to me that it is of great importance to our new relations. We would not want to look bad so early in the game surely?" the speaker was the Despotes Ronaldo Onasis, Kimberly's husand and a major power broker. "I second the motion!" came the cry from a supporter of the Despotate Couple. "I third!" yelled a second. In response the Oppisition also began to speak out, but they were drowned out and the Senate disvolved into pandenomium.

Chairman Lucian looked helplessly from his position on the dais and held his head in misery as he developed a headache. When things finally calmed down he spoke "I.... in full light of the supporting members.... give my consent for the Tsar to leave the nation for the duration of his visit to Generia" A wild cheer broke out amongst the monarchists and the Despoina could not help but give the defeated Chairman a look of 'nailed ya sucka!' before leaving to tell her father.

Letters of the Despoina

Presiding Chairman Colonel Vladek Chernitsky,

Thank you for the infomation, our embassy will be sent shortly. I also wish to inform you that the Chairman has agreed to allow my father to visit Generia

Alexai Vladimirmorov, Commissar Of Foreign Affairs,

It is with great pleasure that General Vrantasha receives the news of both your embassy’s pending departure and the Chairman’s agreement to allow his Majestic Grace, the Tsar, to visit Generia. We in turn shall send our diplomatic staff to Tsaryingrad immediately to begin establishing the Imperial embassy there. (OOC: All of the following happens within the Kremlin are considered secret.)

The chamber for the Political Bureau was buzzing with debate. At the far wall sat the Premier, Vladimir Troskin. To his immediate flanks were the Commissars, and to his far flanks was the individual representatives from the certain branches of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. And at last, on the far wall was the chair for the General Secretary of the CPSU. The meeting of the Politburo had been called to an emergency session by him alone. This being somewhat rare, the Premier and his Commissars were somewhat astonished by what followed.

"I find the nation of Tsaryingrad utterly disgusting," stated Comrade Pacitania, "It is merely a monarchy under the facade of a constitutional monarchy."

"I agree!" shouted several of the Party representatives and Commissars.

Robert continued, "In this world of democracy and capitalism, I do not believe the world should be allowed to slide back any farther than the capitalist system. This demi-fuedalist state that has just recently left its guise of isolation should be stamped out immediately. It is as if the Romanovs have come back to piss on our faces!" With that remark, the room broke out into shouting.

The ruffling ceased when Commissar of Finance Alexai Zeitsev spoke, "I don't believe that Tsaryingrad should simply be destroyed. That would cause so much international concern about the growing power of the Soviet Union. Thus, I believe internal dissent should be the key. Send in a small group of First Directorate [Refering to First Directorate of the KGB; Concerns itself with assassinations, espionage, and foreign operations.] and have them convince several high-ranking Senate leaders of their faults. Get them to turn to our ways. As for the Tsar... Line him and his family against the inner-wall of a MSLF [Maximum Security Labour Facility; Gulag] and let them get shot. Or, we could do what our comrades did to the Romanovs," the room broke out into laughter as Comrade Zeitsev finished his small speech.

"Heh. Good job, comrade, I do believe we have a plan," spoke the Premier as he eyed Pacitania and his somewhat disgust for such a slick method, "However, Comrade Pacitania's plan could also be used if it gets too rough for our security comrades."

With that, the emergency session ended. The large group returned to their homes in and around Moscow. The Premier rode to the Kremlin with Pacitania however, "Heh... Comrade, one day, your plans will be executed," spoke Troskin, "And we will watch as the capitalists tremble at our feet as their empires collapse around them..."

The entire Imperial Family was present at the airport as Tsar Samuel V prepared for his departure to Generia with the embassy staff. "Take good care of your self Brother" said Kaisar (Imperial Prince) Basileous putting a hand on Tsar Samuel's shoulder "You never know what your guards may attempt". It was a long standing fear amongst the Imperial Family that thier guards, assigned by the Senate, would attempt an murder. "Don't worry Basileous" said the Tsar "I will be careful". The Tsar then gave a parting kiss to his wife Sophie and gave several hugs to the other Kaisars and thier wives before coming to Kimberly. "Keep good care while I am gone Kimberly" said the Tsar giving her a hug "And don't sock the Chairman" Kimberly laughed "Don't worry Papa!"

There was one last round of parting hand shakes with his brothers before Tsar Samuel moved off and walked towards the plane, Senate guards in tow. After climbing onboard the Tsar walked his bedroom and told his guards "I do not wish to be disturbed for awhile, so tell the crew that" the guards nodded and plane took off for Generia...

As the Soviet soldiers carried out their normal duties, a radar began to buzz violently, drawing the attention of the operators. As young comrade Anthony Torello watched the small dot appear on the dimly lit, neon-green screen, he withdrew a black marker from his pocket, marking it on the screen before drawing the attention of the surperviser. "Comrade Gorgelliao," spoke the young comrade, "It appears to be a civilian aircraft exiting Tarsyingrad airspace."

"Are the SAM batteries tracking it?" questioned the aged man as he rubbed his shadowed jaw.

"Yes, comrade. Am I to shoot it down?"

"No, comrade. Moscow told us only to keep an eye on traffic entering and exiting Tsaryingrad. But, never-the-less, make sure that SAM trailer keeps locked on. No telling whether or not we might shoot down a cappie today."

The small group that had accumulated around the radar station chuckled vibrantly as they watched the green indicator of the Tsaryingradian aircraft blip, blip, and blip out of radar range after several minutes...

ANAKGRAD, TSARYINGRAD

“Darn that woman!” yelled Phocas Lucian as he paced in the sitting room of his downtown Anakgrad mansion “If this keeps up much longer then Kimberly Anakis will be Chairwoman!” the other men looked at each other nervously. “But Phocas you know the rules, no member of House Anakis may run for political office” said one man standing up, it was Dux Maurice Strategki, an important senator. “But you forget Maurice that in three days time the waiting period on Kimberly’s marriage to Ronaldo Onassis will be over and she will take his name!” yelled Lucian in despair. “I will lose my power and position to that Tsarist brat unless we either drive her into a convent or undermine her popularity!” Lucian continued ranting madly.

Dux Strategki simply allowed Lucian’s rant to continue and took the time to think, once Lucian collapsed into his chair the Dux walked over. “I have a plan my friend to force our way on these matters”. “How?” asked Lucian. Strategki laughed “You will see….”

The jet engines screamed as the air convoy crossed over the line into Generian territorial waters. In the distance the sun baked fortress island of Ntac rose up out of the glittering South Generian sea. The convoy passed over the island and made the jump to the mainland, flying over the province of Buchiana, a troubled region that had seen two secession wars in the past decade. Several hours later the flight neared the city of Sofia, the proclaimed southern capital of the Empire. The great Generian mountain range rose up behind the gleaming white buildings, marking the natural barrier that divided the milder southern expanses of the Empire from the frozen north and the true capital of Generia City.

The aircraft circled and the diplomatic flight was ordered to touch down at a military airfield just outside the city where a limousine convoy waited to take the Tsar to his destination.

The plane landed upon the runaway without incident, though there was some bumps that disturbed the still sleeping Tsar Samuel. "Your Majesty" said one of the Senate Guards "We have landed in Genaria, are you ready to depart?" The Tsar, who was putting on his elaborate uniform, smiled when heard the guard call him majesty, it had been so long since he had been shown respect outside the family. Walking to the door the Tsar said "Yes I am ready go" and then exited his room walking to the center of the plane where the diplomatic staff waited.

"How was your flight your Majesty?" asked the lead ambassador, Kemel Calgri, one of the few Turks in service. "It was fine thank you Ambassador Calgri" said the Tsar adjusting his gloves. A few moments later the Tsar, accomlpied by his guards and the ambassadorial staff, exited the plane and walked towards the waiting limos. "This is a beautiful country" the Tsar remarked as he reached the end of the steps "I believe I will enjoy my time here"

The winding road out of the airbase took the procession through several layers of security gates before the limousines were able to get on the broad highway that led into the city of Sofia. On either side of the road open grassland spread for miles, dotted with an occasional field or small road. The trip into the city was a quick one, and soon the limousines crossed into the city's old quarter, passing low rise buildings and ancient structures, reminders of the old capital's proud past. They crossed into the downtown area, passing skyscrapers and monuments to old heroes and emperors.

The city was strikingly different from her northern cousin, Generia City, and retained a good degree of the old architectural traditions of the past era. Her buildings were shorter and her pace slower, but she commanded respect like a distinguished old woman. The limousines crossed from the commercial district into the central government district, and finally came to a halt in front of a large white building, the old Imperial senate house. The flags of the Imperial Praetorian Guard, Regular Army, and Imperial Military Governing Council hung beneath the Imperial standard and the light breeze put a life in the banners as the cars rolled to a stop. Soldiers advanced and opened the doors for the diginitaries, standing at attention as the guests exited the vehicles.

The Tsar and his entourage were led op the steps into the high ceilinged front hall where they were greeted by a grey haired man in full military dress uniform. His uniform was black as night and his insignias shone in the sunlight that drifted down through the skylights set in the concrete dome that covered the front of the structure. He moved forward and bowed in the direction of the Tsar, removing his cap as he did so.

"Your Grace, I am General Nikit Vrantasha. It is my pleasure to welcome you to my country."

Tsar laughed in delight and rubbed his hands. He walked over the display of wines and picked out a good Vodka from the group "Get me this" he asked the waiter. (OOC: let me know if this godmodding Generic) After the waiter had served out the vodka the Tsar laughed and rubbed his red beard "That was delicious General! I have not tasted a good vodka in five years thanks to that good for nothing Senate back home!"

After a moment of silence the Tsar spoke up again "I suppose we should start our talk now? What part of Tsaryingradian history would you like to hear?" the Tsar leaned back a little in his chair and rubbed his beard in thought.

General Vrantasha leaned back in his chair and studied the Tsar for a moment before continuing, a look of relaxed concentration betraying the controlled turning of his mental gears.

"Well, I have to say what most interests me is how it came about that such a proud monarchical tradition in your land has been replaced with democracy. I apologize for broaching a subject that may be unpleasant, yet I do feel the burning desire to hear an explanation of events."

The General leaned forward in his chair a bit, his attention absolute.

Tsar Samuel sighed deeply as he got out of his chair and started to pace. "I really do not like talking about this but..... Democracy first infiltrated Tsaryingrad one hundred years ago. My great-grandfather, Tsar Konstinin XVIII, showed the democrats no mercy. He formed a elite secret police called the Golden Lance to hunt the democrats down and execute them in the square in front of the Church of Holy Wisdom" the Tsar grew angry "But on the eve of a police bust on the last suspected democratic leadership my great-grandfather fell ill and died, I am convinced that the democrats poisoned him!" The Tsar took a calming breath before continuing. "My grandfather, Romanos IX, was sadly not the Tsar that Tsaryingrad needed. He ignored the advice of the Golden Lance leaders to finish his father's work, and as a result the democrats were able to recover and spread like the rats they are! My grandfather eventually even disbanded the Golden Lance, stating that the democratic movement was dead! Was he blind?!" the Tsar was yelling loudly now, when he realized it he took another calming breath "Forgive me General, this makes me emotional"

"Due to my grandfather's negligence in the face of the democrat threat within five years of his ascension the democratic movement was acting in the open streets, handing out leaflets right in the open! And what did Grandfather do? He ignored it!” another calming breath “Then came that horrible day….. Ten years to the day of my grandfather’s ascension a democratic terrorist group calling themselves ‘The Voice of the Nation’ seized the city of Nicea. They demanded that the Tsar agree to grant their demands or they would destroy the city.” The Tsar shook his head mournfully “My grandfather could have ordered the elite troops of the 12th Guards Division, who were based two hours from Nicea to take back the city. But he did not….” A moment of silence “On the following morning Tsar Romanos IX agreed to accept the demands of the terrorists, by noon the Empire which had stood for a millennium was dead, and the Confederacy was born”

Vrantasha was quiet, but his eyes continued to radiate intensity, windows through which one could look to see the clockwork gears of his mind turning, twisting, crushing, contorting, making the entire mechanism of his contemplation function. Suddenly his expression shifted and one could see a trace of outrage.

“It boils my blood to hear such a thing, your Grace. Boils my blood. Another democratic revolution brought about through the suffering of good men to bring about a system that only causes the suffering of more good men. Every democratic system, every revolution has been the result of terrorism, vicious, insidious thing that it is, and it boils my blood to hear of another.”

His expression softened somewhat.

“But I ramble, your Grace. I tend to dwell too much on the past when I should be helping to change things for the better. But I suppose that is why I called you hear. I admit that I had known something of the status of your nation before I requested your audience, and that I was aware of the events surrounding the revolution, angered by it even before I heard the full story from your Grace. I am one to believe that it is a sick thing to allow a proud nation to be brought to its knees and beaten like a dog, as sick a thing as to bring a proud man to his knees and do such things, but I am also one to believe that it is the duty of a select few to prevent this from happening, both to proud lands and proud men. As you may have heard, my own nation recently experienced a change of government. My armies and the armies of my loyal compatriots of the Imperial Military Council seized power in the capital following the death of our great and wise Emperor Antonius the Magnificent. The act of the coup was in no way meant to be a dishonor to Antonius, but owing to the weak nature of his heirs, it was an act done in his name to save the Empire.”

Vrantasha looked at the Tsar with intense eyes.

“Sometimes such things must be done by the men with the power and the will that they may prevent their nations and their people from falling to their knees. Already these senators, this chairman, they slip the blinders of the democratic system over the eyes of your people, show them the system in such a light that the people see it as their savior, a majestic and grand thing, not realizing the true nature of it as a poison that will corrode and ruin their national soul. They are slipping further and further away from the power and grandeur that came from the monarchy, slipping away from the patriotic and nationalistic fervor that came only from the presence of a great and strong leader.”

Vrantasha’s eyes blazed and he locked them with those of the Tsar.

“This cannot be! Already your noble position is losing the respect of the masses because of the corrupting serpent tongue of the senate. Some of these senators refuse to even acknowledge you by your proper title. Unacceptable. Your grace, I fear that a cancer has begun to spread in your land, and I fear also if it is not cut out, your land may very well perish, and become the parasite dominated nothingness that so many democratic lands have become.”

Vrantasha was silent, but his words hung in the air like storm clouds.

The Tsar was slightly frightned by Vrantasha's instensity, but he controlled himself and his face became hard like stone as he continued to listen. Finally he spoke "I agree General, for too long democracy has had its evil control over Tsaryingrad, for too long have I been openly mocked by Lucian and his lot of slimeballs!" The Tsar's eyes were flame like now, then dimmed slighty "But Kimberly... has advocated since my ascension a process of getting back the Imperial Dignity by beating the sytem at its own game." The Tsar starting pacing again "But now.... Kimberly is popular and has mass support but she is taking to long.... I can no longer bear one more day of being called 'Citizen Anakis' by that pompus piece of trash called Phocas Lucian!!!" the Tsar face was thunder cloud now.

"General Vrantasha...." The Tsar looked around the room, out of old habit, "I have been for some time now trying to think of suitable method of regaining the Imperial Dignity.... Bombing the senate building is too risky and a military rebellion is out of the question unless something changes soon. What do you suggest I do?"

Vrantasha nodded sagely at the Tsar's words.

"You are prudent in not wishing to use an overtly violent method to bring down the poisonous system that plagues your nation. You must be delicate like a surgeon in removing the cancer. You are a charismatic man, your Grace, and you are well liked by your people. Your daughter, Kimberly, is also popular as you have said. To retake power you must use your wits to turn your people against the corruption that resides in the senate hall. You must make them see the truth. Then you will be powerful, and then the senate will fear you. From that point on you will quickly retake your position of power and dignity at the head of your nation."

Tsar stopped pacing and clasped his hands behind his back "Your advice is good General and is aligned with my own thoughts....” The Tsar stroked his beard in thought “Kimberly has expressed her wishes to run for chairman; now normally a member of the Imperial House cannot run for office. But by the time I return to Tsaryingrad Kimberly will have assumed her husband’s name and will be eligible. If she wins the election that could mean the beginning of the end for that blasted Confederacy. By working from the highest positions we could show the people piece by piece the flaws of democracy, perhaps in the newspapers. But I am getting ahead of myself General, lest to say it all depends on the next election”

“If Kimberly does not win…” The Tsar left the thought hanging and stroked his beard again “A Dux from Anatolia put a proposal out a few months ago to allow me the right to make public speeches whenever I wish. When it passes and I am certain it will, I could start to make the people doubt the Senate. I’d have to do such a thing carefully so the Senate does not become suspicious of my doings and restricts me again, but….” The Tsar looked thoughtful “If I can persuade the people enough, they could call for the disbanding of the sitting Senate” The Tsar chuckled “According the Confederate Constitution if the populace is displeased with the performance of the sitting Senate they can form a Tribunal of the Nation and order its disbanding. This will make the country leaderless and during that time I believe I can restore the monarchy”

The Tsar was grinning now “What think you of my plans General?”

"The limousine is waiting outside. It has been a pleasure."

Vrantasha escorted the Tsar out of the office and through the main hall, out onto the street where the convoy waited to take him back to the airfield.

The Tsar waved goodbye and climbed into the Limo, motioning to his Senate Guards while doing so. "How was your talk your Majesty" asked one of the guards as the limos began to move. "It was most fruitful... most fruitful indeed" replied the Tsar with a smile.

Vrantasha stepped back into the chambers. His eyes drifted upward to the enorrmous Generian Imperial Standard hanging from a balcony overhead. A stony expression set on his lips and he walked back towards the small office. There were other matters of business now at hand.

The Limos arrive at the airport in good time and after they stop the Tsar gets out with his guards and walks towards the plane. "I can not wait till I am back home in Tsaryingrad" the Tsar confides to his guards. On the plane Manouel was making final preparations with Pytor for take off, having been alerted of the Tsar's wishes by one his guards.

"His Imperial Majesty is on board Pilot" came the voice of a crewmember. "Alright, thank you!" yelled Manouel then he turned to Pytor. "Yo Ninnie!" he said "Everything all good right?" Pytor sighed "Yes sir everyting is all good". "Good!" Manouel flipped a switch "Attention Attention this is the Tsaryingradian diplomatic crusier Constantine's Pride requesting permission to take off"

(OOC: I am just going to move on okay Generic?)

Reciving the okay from the tower the plane took off and flew back towards Tsaryingrad. During the several hours of flight the Tsar looked out the window and remarked on the beauty of what he saw, then later committed that to pen.

Several hours later the plane had arrived in Tsaryingrad airspace and was preparing to land. "This is Constantine's Pride requesting permission to land" said Manouel speaking into his reciever. "You have permission to land at Airstrip 15 Constantine's Pride. Welcome Home!" was the reply from Air Command. "Alright, see ya on the ground!" then Manouel turned to Pytor. "Yo Ninnie lets get this thing grounded" Pytor blew out an exasperated breath and nodded. A few moments later the plane landed.

The Tsar and his guards were the first out of the plane and he was surprised by what he saw. A red carpet had been lain out at the foot of of the stairs and crowds gathered at each side of of it yelling "Samuel! Samuel! Long Live the Tsar!" The Tsar was grinning as he walked down the stairs, and along the carpet up to the car waiting for him, which was to his delight his favorite Buick.

"How was the trip Papa?" asked a familiar voice. "Kimberly?!" asked the Tsar in amazment. Then he laughed "You arranged all this didn't you?" another laugh. "Only the red carpet Papa" Kimberly replied pulling the car out of park and driving it down the road "the crowd came on it's own". The Tsar leaned back into the plush seat of the Buick and enjoyed the ride. "It is truly good to be home!"
