REFERENCE Thread. Actual fighting, as everyone knows, is in the other thread. This is just where my declaration of war was made.
The Liberal Democrat Chief MP stood up the podium, coughing slightly before he read out his speech.
"The date, 29th of August 2005. Order 28, hereby in discussion. The Liberal Democrat Party hereby proposes that Order 28 shall be a declaration of cessation of hostilities between the Free Soviet Socialist Union of Hogsweat and the Excessively Armed Empire of Automagfreek. Terms:

"THIS IS A DISGRACE!" The Vice Premier of the Communist Party blurted out. He slammed his fist down violently on the table and stood up.
"Excuse me Dakakny-" The Liberal Democrat Chief MP, Marneus Farmitzo, said
"Shut it you!" Dakakny Bermov, the Vice Premier, exclaimed. "This is a disgrace to our national pride. On the brink of war with Automagfreek, a world recognised superpower, you want the Soviet Union to step down and and apologise? They underestimate us, all of them, soon they will pay, and they will know the might of two hundred years of training and military buildup! Our fleets are smashing the enemy, they are retreating and in disarray. You've all seen the satellite photos! When the Freek's perish under our boots, you, and the world, will realise our power! Surrendering now would destroy Hogsweat."
Farmitzo was shocked. "You, Vice Premier, would risk the lives of ultimate billions for this country?" There were murmurs of agreement among the some 3000/5000 Liberal Democrats and Conservatives. The only reason that the Liberals or Conservatives weren't in power was because they refused to create a coalition.
Dakakny was grim faced. "I would do anything for my country, Minister." This statement resulted in roars of cheering and clapping from the Nationalist-Communist coalition. Dakakny sat down with a smug smile.
"Very well then" Farmitzo looked with thinned eyes at the Vice Premier and continued. Terms: The Free Soviet Socialist Union shall apologise for the escalation of hostilities at Cariya Islands.
The Free Soviet Socialist Union shall withdraw all it's military forces from Cariya Islands and the nearby areas.
The Free Soviet Socialist Union shall lift it's Arms and Trade Embargo on AMF Allied nations.
The Free Soviet Socialist Union shall be at peace with the Excessively Armed Empire of Automagfreek.
Place your votes, gentlemen" The Chief MP sat down with his colleagues, who like him, knew that victory was certain for the Liberal's Order. Pats on the back and handshakes were swapped and soon the voting process, which was electronic, began. The votes tallied up on a computer screen on the wall, next to the words: Against and For. They ticked..Against: 2,449, For: 1,983..Then there was wild cheering in the Liberal part of the court, with the conservatives and the Green Party not far behind. The number had hit 2,500 and was still rising. It was lost for the National-Communist Coalition. Marneus stood back up to the podium and announced.
"By order of the Parliament of Hogsweat, 29th of August 2005, Order 28 will be issued by signature of the Premier. Vice Premier, if you will, would you inform the Premier that the order is ready for signing?" If a document was not signed by the Premier it couild not officially be published: However, if the Premier did not sign after a Parliament Majority vote, then the Premier could be ejected from office. Marneus looked extremely smug, the sort of look that one would interpret as I won, you lost. Now i'm making you admit it. However, he was not expecting the Vice Premier's retort.
"Oh, I think the Comrade Premier already knows, Mister Farmitzo." With a smile from the Vice Premier, the locked and barred door (Members of Parliament are not allowed to leave until a decision is reached) exploded fiercely outwards, a huge plume hailing from the explosion. Wading through the smoke, where three paratroopers, the elite of the Red Army, bearing shotguns and submachineguns. At the head of them was Soviet Premier of the Union, Alissa Maykov, her .303 service pistol aimed directly at the Liberal Minister's forehead, the small red dot moving slowly.
"Comrade Farmitzo" she said in a calm voice that was slightly creepy in its' own right. "I hereby relieve you of your duties, and the rest of your party. The Green, National Socialist, Liberal Democratic, Conservative, and Independence Parties of Hogsweat are hereby ejected from Parliament, and their parties banned from operating in Hogsweat"
"Upon, who's authority, Comrade?" Farmitzo said. He was quite certain he still held some form of power. He clearly didn't.
"By the authority of the barrel of my gun, Comrade Farmitzo"

Thought for the day: We must destroy Fascism at it's roots
As of 29th of August, Year 2005, the Free Soviet Socialist Union hereby declares a state of war now exists between the Free Soviet Socialist Union and the Excessively Armed Empire of Automagfreek.
We will not cease fighting until the war is won, until each and every Freek citizen is either dead, or the same fate lies with us.
The Soviet Union will destroy Automagfreek or die trying. We call our faithful allies Praetonia and Sarzonia, to assist us in this grand taking.
