Anyway.

OOC: In the process of creating my factbook, I realized I wasn't signed up to any international environmental agreements. So I thought I'd see if there was any interest in setting up one. I doubt there will be though - it's much more interesting to fight continuous unrelenting wars without any noticeable social, economic or political effects than to grope wildly for the merest smidgen of reality. I am a sad, sad man.

IC: Concerned by the anti-business agenda of many environmental legislators, a group of corporate investors and directors have formed a loose coalition and calling themselves 'Green Process' have called on foreign captains of industry and concerned business persons to work towards compiling a realistic treaty on climate change, pollution and ecodamage with a view to convincing national governments to subscribe to an accord that will promote rather than punish responsible business practices.

OOC: Wait, I'm absolutely lost. What does the title have to do with looking for environmental alliances? And doesn't the UN do this already? One of the many reasons I quit was an resolution that if interpreted correctly may have rendered vaccines illegal but smallpox growing fine. Along with other resoultions that kept me from even looking at trees funny.

OOC: It's a pathetic ruse to attract attention, for people who can't actually be bothered putting time or effort into a thread or its name.

Uh ya....I'd actually like to see a UN topic discussed rightly, but the environment saving thing is just another of its stupid lashbacks. I got to take care of whores and transexuals and everything else. People which are jailed for such things in my nation! Total crap!

No one interested? Not entirely surprising, I suppose.
