A series of floods in Northern T.E. has killed 121 and 77 people are injured. At least 100 homes are reported distroyed and at least 800 damaged. Some badly. the P.M. has deployed the RTA (Royal Thomish Airforce) and has asked the world to send rescue helecopters if possable?

We will send rescue helicopters, but with the distances involved, we are unsure about whether they'll arrive to make a difference. Also, you seem to have exaggerated the death count as you've reported hundreds dead, but have a list of only 121 dead.

Zion watched the unfortunate deaths of hundreds on the news. Being the genocidist that he is coudn't resist. On top of the fortress was a missile that contained Nemesis-9 virus. Zion was going to use the weapon as a last resort. Zion walked over to a computer that had a key hole and a keypad. Zion took out a key and activated the missile. He told a technition to key in the coordiantes for Thomish Empire. After he was done the launch bay doors opened and the warhead was exposed..... It was going to launch......

OOC: Depends, what is the virus's max temperature threshold? Pure heat can destroy lots of organic things. If the virus's max temperature threshold is exceeded, it will break down and be destroyed.

The virus has a very high heat threshold. in fact heat will make it twice as strong. you need heat just short of an atomic bomb.....

We have sent the 23rd Marine Construction Brigade to help rebuild the affected areas. They should arrive sometime in the next few hours.

The missles were hit and blown up by Thomish Defences. The Virus was released over rural areas. at least 20 farmers and many animals were infected instantly.

The strongest virus ever discovered (as regards heat dispersion) had a maximum heat threshold at about 270c. Most viruses can be killed at 100c (hence boil-water orders). Some foods are recommended to be heated to 185c to make sure that all bacteria and viruses inside are killed. There is nothing that can survive at temperatures over 1000c.

OOC: Stick it on a guided missile and it does just fine. And tac nukes aren't that bad. Just a little light radiation, and you could probably shoot it down over water, or some desolate wasteland you don't care about anyway.

We'll also dispatch some our Naval aircraft to assist, as well as provide shelter and foodstuff's to the victims.

Nemesis-9 is not a real virus......... It is RPed as that strenght. But remember it is old so its original stats may have changed a little...... Lighten up all I did was infect cows..... so all that happens now is he has less food..... big whoop. :rolleyes:

As the 23rd Marine Construction Brigade arived on site they amidiatly began to set up the draining ecquipment and a Command Post.

Marine: " Sir this whole are is a bit large for our draining equipment to drain fast enought"

Commander: "Alright how long will it take us to drain it so we can start rebuilding?"

Marine: "A good 13 hours sir."

Commander: "I want it done in 10 also get the counstruction teams ready now so they can get to work as soon as the draining is complete."
