Godulans seek expansion (Attn AoN, Allies, Etc)

On the Godulan Capitol planet of Alitar, the Consortium Palace was abuzz with activity. Military personnel zipped about, consultants and advisors roamed the halls with purpose, and Baron Skye was having heated conversations with the Triad Prefects.

"Pulled out?" "After all this time!" "What are we going to do?" "There's room for business to be done, I just know it!"

"ENOUGH!" Skye surged, causing a dead silence across half the palace. "Doubtless it is understood that the Imperials have pulled out from nearly everywhere but the core region, but this leaves a massive number of essentially lawless worlds, struggling to restore order in light of this most sudden development."

"We are in agreement there, Baron."

"Already, the Chronosians have expressed their intent to conquer these worlds amidst the confusion of the withdrawal. We must not let this occur. To allow such a thing would bring the chaos hordes upon our doorstep. We must, as they say, beat them to the punch."

Agreement swelled throughout the room again.

"I shall inform our allies that we intend to commence a swift moving wave of expansion. Allow these newly released nations into our welcoming arms. We shall add their resources to our own, we shall let them live with the freedoms they have not enjoyed in the past several hundred years."

"But how? We're not nearly capable of managing that, along with the possibility of challenging the Chronosians for dominance."

"Oh but we are. Our Kythons are growing more and more numerous, and our fleets grow by leaps and bounds. And we also have our fair share of friends to call upon. No more stalemates here. No more staring contests, no more watching as the enemy continues to slaughter and oppress. This is our time, my friends, this is our time to reach out and DO something..."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shipyards went into overdrive, churning out Godulan and Kython vessels, Red Rain Torpedos, and Javelins with a fury. HomeGuard and StarNavy alike began preparations, and the Heighliners began their appropriations.

A single message went out, to all recognized allies of the Godulan Triad Consortium:

FRIENDS! HEAR US!

The imperials have left massive swaths of territory, reverting into a state of isolationism. Large stretches of the galaxy are lawless and helpless. Assist us as we seek to restore order to these worlds, and bring them into the fold.

Our time has come, Allies, let us make us of it!

To: the Triad Consortium of Godular

Hello. Under my father's tenure as Reichsführer, we joined both the Galactic Empire and the Alliance of Naggaroth. When the Empire and the Alliance went to war, we stayed out and closed the Triune Systems. We never showed our allegiance to the Alliance, and instead displayed our membership in the Empire. For too long, I feel, have we been silent about our membership in the Alliance. As such, I have commanded that four Imperator I-class Star Destroyers be sent to wherever your leadership feels they are needed.

Jurai was also abuzz with the news that the Empire has retreated. Spy ships have been sent to see whether this was true or just another Jedi trap. After a few short days of searching, it was clear that for once, the Empire was telling the truth.

"We have an unprecedented opportunity here, my friends. We can retake some worlds and grow larger once more." Armas Elendil, head of the Jedi Order said in an emergency session of the High Council.

"Godular is beginning. We can use their help as we're still in the middle of the war on Earth." Alex said, his hologram a shimmering blue color.

"We must be quick, for our intelligence operatives have reported that Chronosia is gearing up as well. We must ensure that all the best worlds fall to us or our allies." Councilor Rydo pointed out.

"[Then we shall ramp up our ship production and issue edicts to take the worlds.]" Master Lowbacca growled. "[Let's put it to vote. All in favor?]"

A show of hands were raised, none were still down.

"Then let's do it." Master Blayden smiled.

The Valc VII shipyards, hidden far from the main planets of the galaxy, yet only a couple of lightyears from Jurai itself, were put to overdrive, churning out ships large and small on the orders of the Council. CEOs of mining, metalworks, electronics and hyperdrive production companies were granted tax breaks in favor of producing more raw materials for the ships.

Crew wasn't a major problem as once word reached the public that the Empire has retreated, many have signed up to join the power vacuum that resulted, especially in hopes of seeing family and friends long lost once more. So many people signed up that the recruiting stations were forced to turn back many because the training grounds were unable to take them in.

A message was sent back to the Godulans:

Count us in! It's time to do what we have not been able to do before!

Once again, the Federation cannot promise much, as we are still engaged in conflicts with our rogue fleets. However, we can continue to allow you to use the ships we previously lent you.

In a measure of support for our allies, the Godulans, we hereby commit the Battlefleet of Auzeg to your assistance. The Chancellor of Auzeg has expressed his extreme loyalty to the Federation's membership within the AoN, and wishes to do his duty on behalf of the UFGZ.

The Battlefleet consists of 500 vessels, including two Dreadnoughts, eight Battlecarriers, and various other ships of battle capability.

Should any worlds be patriated to the Godulan cause, the Federation simply requests control of all trade interests within these worlds' systems.

Should Godular require any other assistance, feel free to contact us at Thorn. Normandeicht has... revolted...
