Critisism of CnC:G is not welcome in ANY OOC thread related to this Earth. If you do not wish to read any of the RPs or take part, do not post, we don't need it. If you see something wrong with something, please post your concern.

Okay, first of all, if I tried to make another Command and Conquer Generals Earth, would you at least read it?

Custom generals will be accepted, but be sure to have enough weaknesses.

The otehr Generals have yet to accept her cell back into the GLA and Jarmen Kell, who fought against her brother, refuses to aid her. She uses her PHD to enhance the power of tunnel networks and promote movement within the GLA. She, herself, is always on the move, as is her buildings and forces.

I could see this as an RP, but as an Earth? Probably not a good idea, seeing as there are only 3 different groups you could join. Personally, I don't think that most people would participate simply because if they wanted to do it, they could just play the game. If I were you, I'd create an entirely different scenario instead of just taking it from a game.

CnC:G just isn't very popular I guess. When it came to my CnC: RA2 thing, I had sign-ups almost immediately... I know that you only really know about the Generals story line, but the other CnCs are invariably more popular in the end.

I would have been more active... That is, if I didn't lose interest at the time.

I think a flaw in your approach is to take things so much like the RTS, with heal rates and such. There's not much fun in taking things so rigidly. I'd suggest that you set up some guidelines, and that'll be it. Common sense, and having played the game would make much more sense imo.

EDIT: Same sentiments as above as well.

Hmm. Well, the game only goes so far. The reason it's called an Earth is because as the RPs go on, the larger the influence of the nations gets and, more specifically, the influence of the Generals. For example, the Nuclear General is on a mission to rid Chinese-held Mongolia of the GLA and he is successful. That person now holds that nation/area and must gaurd it safely and taht ecomes his/her base of operations. The more people conquer, the more they have to command^^

And it is true that there are only 3 factions, two of which are allies. But the GLA is huge, holding most of Africa, most of Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. The USA holds North and South America, Great Britan and Iceland, is allied with India, Japan, South Korea, and holds Australia. China holds China, Mongolia, a bunch of little SE Asian nations, North Korea, and a few islands in Oceania. So the GLA is so large that it might as well be several allied factions. Besides, partsof the GLA could cut off and become their own organization, as Prince Hassad did.

And yes, my approach is a bit too much like the RTS-style. But that doesn't mean that's how we should do it. Those are just facts that can be used in the RPs. I don't mean it to seem like an RTS; I want this to be a series of great RPs.

If you ever followed my CnC thing, then you've got a clear idea of what not to do when making this kind of RP. I had lots of great participation at first, but the thing just fell apart. I'm not to sure, but I fear that it was bad management.

If they were to be added, they had better not be implemented like they are in that mod.

It's a very nice piece of work, but that mod is horribly unbalanced...
(I'm partial to the Boss Generals mod myself. If you don't know about it, check it out sometime. You can't deny the coolness factor of having a CTC mode in ZH.)

I think for greater variety you could include the Soviets and possibly Yuri from Red Alert series. Having the Soviets in generals would rock, and Yuri is just damn cool. If you want i could give exact unit lists of the Yuri side in the same format of generals armies.

Ever thought of doing a CnC Dawn or Sun Rp im sure some people would sign up to that especially if you did it so you could have seperate sub factions of each side that could fight each other.
