Welcome to the Associasion of Nuclear Weapon Producing nations (ANPN)

OOC: For a long time Nuclear Weapons have been considered a form of Godmoding (making yourself invinsible). However Nuclear weapons are a part of modern warfare and therefore should have a place in international incidents. However if everybody had an infinite supply of the things then it would clearly be choas. The international Nuclear weapons register seeks to end a "blanket ban" on Nuclear armaments but produce a system that determines how many, in a given time period Nuclear weapons your country can produce.

So if the Republic of Example is alowed to produce 5 warheads per month it can have them registered by posting on this thread. Each warhead would then recieve international a registration number listing the post number and the weapon number e.g.
P16W5 (Post number 16 weapon on post number 5)

The weapon could then be sold knowing that the weapon is registered and used quoting its registration. This would make a finite supply of Nuclear weapons hopefully making roleplying more interesting.

Oswald wandered through the corridors of filing cabinets at Fort Opus. The fort was the home of all the registrations for Nuclear weapons. Finally he came to subsection Alpha-3-Gamma, his goal. The Curator adjusted his thick rimmed glasses and opened the dusty filing cabinet, making it creak as he did so. He reached in to the files and pulled on out. The file was printed on expensive paper with gold leaf. Sniffing he opened the file. Ragnarok class H-bomb. It was of moderate size enough to wipe out a smallish city. In the event it had only been used for target practice. "Who big must your target be/" He pondered. Ticking boxes 14, 12 and 11 Owald stamped the form and placed it back its file. He closed the filing cabinet holding the file in hand. His shoes sqeaking on the floor he proceeded through this vast underground room, bleak under elecetric lighting. He smiled at the guard with shiny boots and an SA80, he did not smile back. Owald placed the form into a booth and tapped in his clearance code. The booth opened and the file dispeared down into vault 5, expended armaments.

Fort Opus sat the ANPN HQ. It had been open only last year above an old military base. Maximus Khan, Senior Clerk and Postmaster sat at his desk reviewing the regulations for Nuclear weapons.

OOC: The Rules of Registration or simple. All nations can create one Nuclear Weapon a Month. If Uranium mining is their major industry (see NS Economy) then they can make 5. Plus this they can make an extra one for every hundred million population they have. Thus a nation with 1.7billion population with uranium mining as their main industry can produce 22 nuclear weapons a month. Additional weapons made cannot be registered so can only be sold on the black market. This system ensures that nuclear weapons are actually "created" rather then made up on the spur of the moment.

This system also provides lots of opertunities for RPing, maybe blackmarket weapons, maybe a dictator hiding WMDs (or not) maybe a heist on Fort Opus...
