New General Secretary Elected-
At the conclusion of the Ba'ath Arab Socialist Party Congress President Muhammed Nyerere was elected as the new General Secretary with the Second Secretary being Bashar al-Hafez. Muhammed Nyerere finished the Congress with a speech where he clearly stated "The reforms some members call far are the effects of degeneration among Ba'athists and are inspired by the Western Imperialists, these reforms would work only to their benefit. Capitalism and Liberalization are Western thoughts and will remain that way, neither one of them can help the Arab situation, only Socialism and Arab Unity will guide us to the era of unification and the victory over modern imperialism. In the past we have made many errors and have not stood as militant as we should. Any and all attacks on Arabs anywhere on earth will be met with an assault from Karuchea and I am sure the United Arab States will back us up when push comes to shove. Long Live Arab Unity, Long Live the Ba'athist Party."
Co-operation offered to Arabanistan-
Today President Muhammed Nyerere offered economic aid as well as military aid to Arabanistan in it's war. "This is a part of Arab unity, when one Arab is attacked, it is only correct for other Arabs to defend him against this aggression. The West's divide and conquer strategy will not work against Arabs today or tomorrow or ever again." he said in his speech at the Party Congress.
Protests Dispersed-
Protests in the Capital, Assad City have been stopped by the military today after refusing to leave. 110 of these have been arrested and will be charged with treason. General Secretary Muhammed Nyerere had this to say about the protests: "We have no room for error here, if we allow these traitors to defeat us today, we will set the example of failure for all Arabs and bring the full wrath of Western Imperialism. These protests were over the so-called "freedom of the press" and "economic freedoms". What I call these "freedoms" is the "freedom to promote Anti-Arab thought and Pro-Imperialist propaganda" and the "freedom to exploit Arabs for personal profit" both of these have no place in our society where true freedom reigns."
Embassies Called For-
Second Secretary and Vice-President Bashar al-Hafez today called for all friendly nations whether Arab or simply Anti-Imperialist to enter discussions with Karuchea about the opening of embassies and closer ties. All nations who support Karuchea and the Arab world are invited to enter in discussions.
