After the brutal crackdown on protestors a few weeks ago, the situation in New Siberia escalated into full scale riots across the country, Korridans Dictator, Klaus Heinrich has fled the country and the towns and cities are in anarchy as Communists, The Church, Loyalists, Capitalists, Nationalists, The Army and even the Korridanian Mafia compete for control and support in this once great nation. If the situation continues to deteriorate, many fear the situation will erupt into a bloody civil war.

Civil Uprisings are unbearably a nuisance, and Jenrak will offer to aid Korridan in quelling their uprisings through a series of chemical and biological weapons. Before you make assumptions on our weapons, we assure you that Jenrakian chemical and biological weaponry are the best you can get.

Revolution is a fact of life. In order for socio-economic advancement, a revolution must occur, otherwise the rotting shell of capitalism will collapse in upon the people and destroy both the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. The situation in Korridan is worsening to a point where the welfare of the people are endangered. The Holy Republic of Shadowthone wishes to provide support for the Korridanian Church. We hope that our brothers in the Korridanian Church would seek the welfare of the local populace and protect their interest. The blessed Chris intends, with the volition of Korridan, to intervene in the conflict via the insertion of 15000 urban units equipped with M-4 rifles, sidearms, repirators, HUD units, and APC's. We will confess to a prediliction towards the use of non-lethal gas to subdue resistance in an urban riot situation, and lethal-chemical weaponry if the situation escalates. All of the above will be enacted upon authorisation by Korridan, and the operation will be led by the mauch vaunted Commisaar van Heugen.

If a combatant element we would seek to secure the safety of the civilians of Korridan, prior to ensuring the liberaion of the capital city, and the defeat of all communist and nationalist cells.

I do, however, wonder as to the relevance of an established government that retains no control over its populace, who are in a state of civil war. A temporary military or international coalition ought to assume control for the duration of the revolution, since no Korridian will be entirely impartial.

At present a task force fom the blessed Chris comprising some 100,000 combatant infantry, and indeterminate amount of logistical staff, 400 armoured vehicles, 75 combat helicopters, 50 insertion and extraction helicopters, 200 heavy artillery pieces, and 4 F-14 squadrons operting from the "Mirage" aircraft carrier, which forms opertational headquarters along with its naval taskforce. We intend to support the capitalists, and ensure the survival of the Korridian church in this venture. Any forthcoming opposition will be met with extreme and lethal force.

The situation is hostile, the war will come soon, the democratic republic of thalako retires of all intervention in this country and is sad that the things have arrived at this point.

It was a cold, snowy morning, A representetive of the Nationalists, the Army and the Mafia all sat at a small table. Terms were established, hands were shook, an alliance was forged. The Mafia was to get cushy jobs, powerfull positions and a blind eye would be turned to there "Activities". The Nationalists would become the heads of state, and the army would have extroardinaire funding and influence. It seemed a win-win situation, all that was left was to deal with the "Undesireables"

((And for the record whoever said ive gone straight to a revolution, Ive had a post where the leader was assassinated under suspicious circumstances and later the succesors brutal crushing of revolts, which have led to the current situation, those posts were just mostly ignored.))

The blessed Chris is willing to ally with the newly formed Korridian administration to dispense with the remaining undesirables. If possible we would particularly enjoy eradicating communists......

Any offence caused through this venture is entirely inadvertant, and our apologies are imparted upon those of such a disposition. As the Imperium of Serapindal was one of the main factions that had helped Korridan be recognized as a legitimate nation, the IOS will lend any help requested to the legitimate government of Korridan.

(There is no legitamate government of Korridan right now, the Nationalists/Mafia control the capital and surrounding area but other then that none of the 3 major sides have a strong enougth claim to legitamacy. The former dictator fled and most of the loyalists have as well at this point)

*It was another cold winter in New Siberia, the Nationalist's had delivered an ultimatum to the Church of Korridan, surrender, pledge allegiance to the Korridan National front or face destruction. The Church with there troops, only 400,000 strong, without tanks or an airforce and rejected the nationalists demands. Bombing raids came swiftly, and 250,000 National Front Soldiers came, armed and equip with tanks, heavy artillary and the best in Korridanian winter war technology, which had advanced greatly since the war of independence. In the meantime, a communist force of 400,000 marched to push back the invaders who threatened Iangrad. The front lines were drawn.*

(( Theres a harbor in the northwest,2 in the Northeast and 4 in the south. However, the southern channel between Korridan and Antartica is full of dangerous icebergs etcetera. The Northwestern one is tightly controlled by the communists and the Northeastern ones are guarded by Nationalist Front soldiers. The only large scale ports capable of harboring and serviceing battle-ship size are the Southernmost Northeastern one and the Northwestern one.))

The Nationalist's have launched a massive recruitment campaign, and its is begining to see results, many willing Korridanians have joined the National Front and have been put to work hastily training for combat. However, just as many have fled the capital to fight with the Church or Communists.

The Imperium of Serapindal has brought a flotilla of warships, along with 50,000 men, to help reinforce the Communists. They are very well armed, but the main point is, that they are bringing winter suits and camoflauge for the Communist Soldiers, as well as loads of Assault Rifles and other arnaments, heavy artillery, tanks, and other stuff. However, the equipment is still of lower quality then the Weapons of the Imperium. Through this, we can hope to bring the Communist Army's weapons up to date, along with their equipment, to make them into a formidable force.

Leafanistan shall send an observation fleet and put them in international waters and contact the Imperium's fleet. We shall be carrying a load of AR-550 Conscript Rifles and will be joining the Imperium in reinforcing Communist positions with airdrops.

Never having liked travling by sea, General Keld was eager to get back onto land, and sent the following transmission to the harbor master:

"As allies of the previous government, and as a signed member state of the ADC, Carthago Deuce has dispatched a peacekeeping force to New Siberia. We are the leading elements of that force, and we request permmission to make use of the harbor facilities presently under your control in order disembark in a timely manner. After this we will set up our Division command center, and begin our peacekeeping operations. Other elements of our force would also disembark here, and move via air or land to their respective designated opperational areas. The sooner we get off these boats the sooner all of the peoples of Korridan will know peace."

3rd Airborne Division is engaging the communists near Iangrad. They request air support from the Korridan National Front.

As the equipment you will be providing will do nothing but further the violence in this counrty, it is my responisbility as the highest ranking Carthaginian peacekeeper in the viccinity of Korridan to request that you do not provide tools of war to any faction involved. Please do not make this any more difficult a time than it already is. Thank you.

It's pretty obvious at this point, that these factions won't be coexisting peacefully. We decided to side with the strongest faction, to prevent more bloodshed then neccesary.

We request then, that you assist us in preventing the various factions from engaging each other, while encouraging them to persue more peaceful options.

After President Holtz sent these two messages, he called Gen. Washington into his office. The general slowly walked in, eager. His men, too, were eager. Holy Paradise had not fought a good war in a long time. "General! How are you?" Holtz asked.

"I am quite well, and I hope I shall be better after what you are about to say." Washington replied.

"Indeed, you shall be. I know your men have waited quite a while for a little battle. But, I had found no reason for such pointless bloodshed. Then, I found out about something that might be of our concern, and, if we get involved, would not have men die pointlessly." John told Washington. Washington's emotions perked up a little at hearing this. "What is the situation, Mr. President?" he inquired.

"Korridan has broken out in a violent, and bloody civil war. I have sent one public message saying we will not get involved, but I have sent a secret message to the nationalist, capitalist, and Church forces saying otherwise. I told them that if they ally, as their ideas are indeed similar, we shall send help. I want you to put about 10,000 men and assorted artillery, naval units, and air units on standby. I shall change this number if needed. You are dismissed, General." Holtz explained.

"That's it?" Washington asked.

"Yes. I thought you would be happy about this." Holtz replied.

"Indeed, I am." Washington stated.

Due to the fact that the Korridan Church is under threat from the Nationalist, the Holy Republic of Shadowthone has decided to send military aid. 50,000 troops with tanks and artilery will be arriving via covoy to the Northwestern harbour. In response to the escalation in the nature of the communist threat posed to Korridan, the blessed Chris proposes to increase it's armed presence in Korridan from 15000 urban units equipped with M-4 rifles, sidearms, repirators, HUD units, and APC's, to; - 200,000 infantry
- 15 brigades of armoured vehicles
- 6 squadrons of fighter aircraft, 2 bomber squadrons and 150 combat helicopters operating from three charle's de Gaulle aircraft carriers.
- 50,000 logistical staff and 5000 logistical mechanised units.
- an unconfirmed amount of special forces units.


All of the above, and their insertion into Korridan, will be enacted subsequent to Korridian approval, and we do request the availability of a sizeable port or sheltered bay to enact our insertion. Our intetntions are entirely benevolent in this affair, and we assure Korridan we will withdraw subsequent to the conclusion of the conflict.

OOC: About 200 armoured vehicles, and I assume that your reactions are that of proposed co-ordination and collusion to defeat the communists, since we are more than willing to engage foreign interlopers who intend to be malificient in the political future of Korridan.

(OOC- Coordination yes, but we aren't trying to defeat anyone really. My forces are going to be doing what they can to prevent the factions from engaging eachother. That means containing domesic forces within established lines, and defending them if a hostile force attacks.)

It was another harsh, cold day in New Siberia, and the communists had a plan. The attack was given the codename of Operation Ferret, and over 800,000 soldiers would be involved. The communists knew a quick victory was recquiered, so that they could crush there enemies before the forigners could intervene. The plan was to have a main army of some 300,000 Infantry storm down from the Northwest mountain ridge and meet the nationalists at Korridan City head one, in the mean time, 125,000 infantry would be advanceing on the cities flank, and the remaining 200,000 were too dig into the old tunnel systems and storm into the centar of the city. It was a risky operation, it would take 2 days to arrive close enougth to the capital to begin, and if victory could not be quickly procured, the 200,000 in the tunnels would be without an effective supply network to support them. Furthermore, reinforcements would likely be arriveing for the Nationalist front soon, and the Nationalist garrison of 150,000 was expected to rise to anywhere between 300,000 to 500,000 if they were spotted early. At 5:30 PM, the soldiers headed out.




Meanwhile in the south, the Nationalist's have managed to push the Holy Church of Korridan back further and further, with casualties escalateing, a major offensive spearheaded by T-90 class tanks specifically designed for the winter environment has been planned to encircle and destroy vast numbers of enemy troops. The bombing campaign has intensified but the soldiers of the Holy Army still hold strong, desperately trying to make up in spirit what they lack in equipment.

"Admiral Laudo, sir? The theocratic faction has opened its port to us, and Divisions nine through twelve are preparing to move there now sir." came the report from the Chief Petty Officer, "But their forces are presently being beaten back by by the nationalist faction and the criminals who alligned with them. I'm not sure how long the port will remain safe, or even open to us."

"Thank you, chief. Where is the Tamerlane?"

"She is holding position with the forces originaly designated to operate with the nationalists, sir."

"Contact her Captain, tell him to begin moving into position to deploy the First Air-Cav Division in support of the theocrats. And tell Brigadeer General Grey to contact me three hours before the Tamerlane is in position."

"Yeah, Chief. Thank you."

At that the Burmecian saluted smartly, and went about his duties. Once he had left Admiral Laudo prepared a pair of messages:

We must secure the surrender of the Church before the Carthagians arrive en masse!"

Meanwhile far to the north

"Comrades, there is a long march ahead of us, but, at the end will be the liberation of our people. You all have been chosen to lead this march to victory, and the restoration of Ian's original vision. On our shoulders rest the future of our nation, of our homes, of our wives and of our children. Will we allow them to be ruled by criminals? To be ruled by Zealots? To be ruled by Fascts!? NO! This is our chance, we must not, we can not fail!"


In an underground bunker in New Vladivostock, the High Priest seemed to grow more and more grim as reports of tanks and mechanized infantry breaking through the hastily constructed defences. After all, the front lines were only about a hundred miles away. The Carthagians it seemed, would be there only hope.

The Klaxons signaling general quarters began to sound thoughout the fleet, calling the sailors to their battlestations. The air-defenses on the 24 Archerfish class Destroyers came on line, the various types of auto-cannons cycling rounds into their chambers and the missiles armed, as the Warmare transports moved into tighter formations. The four Maelstrom class cruisers within gun range of the theocrat/nationalist line loaded rocket assisted shells into their eight inch guns, training them on slower moving nationalist targets. The word was passed and they opened fire.

The situation at the port was hectic. There had been several close calls with icebergs in the channel, and all of the men were eager to disembark. The men of the 10th Division were forming up to begin their march North after only three hours, and the men of the 9th were almost ready to join them.

The Hinds carrying the men of the 1st Air-Cav Division were at that time headed for a position about thirty seven miles behind the designated theocrat line. This would put them in place to engage a major nationalist collum which had engaged, routed, and now pursued the theocratic defenders. This would hopefuly buy the theocrats time to regroup and counter attack this aggressive force.

Divisions aren't even close to 150,000 men. They're about 10,000-15,000 each. You've got like an Theater or something.

The Imperium of Serapindal will reinforce the front with more ships, putting the complement at Korridan one full Imperial Naval Complement, fully vigilant. The Group has dispatched three Carriers, Three Battleships, 36 Destroyers and a good deal of support ships, and countless aircraft to surround the V.S.S. Eagle, in a crescent formation. The Carriers launched their Aircraft in a suprise attack on the V.S.S. Eagle, in order to completely overrun them while they are suprised. As soon as they came into range, the Battleships tried to shell the V.S.S. Eagle, as well as sending a few submarines to patrol the area, and to send destroyers in a screen to provide covering fire. The Imperium hopes that Korridan Ground Forces will engage Velkan Forces, and they also hope that maybe even Carthago Ducien forces may follow. The Fleet also sent a similiar group, to cut off the division of marines arriving, doing a similiar tactic, hoping to catch their incoming fleet off guard, and to inflict as many casulaties as possible.

Well, to have lots more groups. I mean, jumping from 20,000 to 150,000 has it's weaknesses.

What if you need for example, 75,000 men? Splitting up your division wouldn't be too good, so you're presented with problems.

And even so, it must have taken a while, so I doubt they're coming here soon. Maybe in a few NS weeks.

OOC: In the Korridan Independence War, the Velkyan Union was one of the Anti-Korridan Factions, but the Imperium negotiated a Peace Treaty between both sides. Just to give you some background info on Korridan.

(OOC- I was there, almost. I deployed a regiment of my hypermobile artillery, and tried to send more once I realized that it wasn't a large enough force but they arived one or two NS days to late. I was also present at the conference. I remember everything between Velkya and Korridan being patched up. . . oh well. "So the Reds have come to Korridan City eh? Well, I suppose we must greet them then. I want 150,000 soldiers to redeploy to here from the southern front. That will leave only 250,00 to deal with the church. All bomber units are to return to the Capital area as soon as they complete there missions, we are place soldiers and snipers in every building, we only have 100,000 in the cities immediatie vincinity, with about 200,000 more able to arrive in about 16 hours, and a remaining 100,000 in 28 hours. Not one foot of ground is to be given, we must stop them!"

C.C.F.S. Dinohyus-

"Captain, the radarmen are reporting several contacts presently inbound. If they're hostile they'll be in range in five minutes, sir." said the Dinohyus' XO, "How should we respond, sir?"

"Brind the air defenses on-line imediatly, contact the other Archerfish and have them do the same and then activate the ECM. What's the probability they're hostile?" asked Captain Deitmar.

"The theocratic faction no longer controls any aircraft, sir, and we don't have anything that would move that fast."

"Launch the PATRIOTs then, and when they're in range AMRSAMs. Are the guns ready? asked the exited man. This was the first time an Archerfish class had fired in anger and he was in command.

As the low flying attack aircraft neared their targets their alarms indicating Radar lock sounded, just in time to announce the various air intercept missiles that either crashed into their targets or nearly did and ended up impacting in what had recently become nationalist territory. When the aircraft came into range they launched their own missiles in reply, though their target locks were shakey at best due to the ECM. As the swarm of anti-shiping munitions sped towards their targets some were met first with 90mm anti-aircraft fire, though this had very little effect as it wasn't designed as a CIWS.

Then, quite suddenly, the missiles were in the harbor. Three were almost imediatly detonated by the streams of 37 and 57mm HE and AP round lancing out at them from the ship mounted CIWSs and automated Anti-Air weapons. With a massive, crashing explosion which resonated through out the port city a the Warmare transport which was offloading elements of the 11th Div. when the nationalist attackers were spotted, 'Velvetine Tarpan', was struck just aft of midships at the waterline.

The attack over Captain Deitmar surveyed the situation.

Two Archerfish had minor damage from anti-shipping missiles.

One Warmare had taken heavy damage and was taking on water, lost most of the ammunition designated for the 11th Div.

They'll be fine once the Nationalists pull back, so long as they can hold their line. Also, tell the Werewolves to deploy and immediatly begin opperations. I wanted to save as much of their infrastructure as possible, but it looks like the only way to prevent infighting. Bridges, roads, rail lines, anything. Destoy anything the factions need to get at eachother."

"Aye, sir." replied the burmecian, saluting and once again going about his duties (this time though with a greater sense of urgency).

"Dig! Dig for the Motherland! Dig to the tunnels!"

*Closer to the city, the main force soldiers clad in the red uniforms of the Korridanian Communists braced themselves for assault as a precision artillery barage was launched against various perceived sniper points. Then the order was given, and the sound of there marching boots could be heard from miles away as they pushed into the city, meeting 0 ressistance so far. 8 blocks in however, the entire area erupted into sniper fire*

*On the capitols flanks, the soldiers who were to push through and encircle the nationalists were suddenly encountering staunch resstance from armored and mechanized Nationalist forces whose far more mobile forces were giveing the infantry, which had only a few anti-tank armaments other then the artillery which was yet to be put into place, great difficulty.*

I want a massive offensive across the whole front with armored spearheads in the center left and center right composed of 220 tanks each to create the initial opening in 6 hours and a massive infantry assault in 8."
