In his desire to attract more capitalist corporations such as your own, the great and merciless Imperator has offered the following to all business who wish to set up offices or factories, or even Central Offices, within our borders;

-1.5% flat business tax for the first three years.
-Armed security, electrified fencing and a helipad for your defense.
-A 10% discount on construction materials bought from one of our construction companies.

Now in an attempt to answer some questions you may have, Cruxgrad has the following laws and policies;

-No child under the age of seven may work in a factory, offices are fine.
-No unions led by unapproved Government officials.
-No minimum wage.

You are more than welcome to construct and open trade offices within our trading district, and if you desire it, you may open an embassy with the following restrictions;

-Maximum 250 administrative staff.
-Maximum 100 armed security, no automatic weapons.

Cruxgrad Social Defense Corps [SDC’s/SD-Corps]

Equipment:

General Information:

Each member of the Cruxgrad Social Defense Corps are trained to shoot to disable, thus explaining their use of rubber bullets. Shooting to kill is generally frowned upon, but very rarely will action be taken against an SDC who breaches this rule. The purpose behind the shooting to disable is that it allows for public execution at a later period, a further discouragement to law breaking.

Members of the SDC have the right to enact a stop and search on anyone they deem to be suspicious. A multi-purpose precaution that prevents possible terrorism or unapproved drug dealing: Items that are deemed a breach of Society are immediately seized for summary destruction. Additionally the individual is seized for summary destruction.

As may be evident, members of the Corps do not carry handcuffs. There reason for this is two-fold: We feel that forcibly restraining someone is not only crude but a violation of their basic rights of existence, as such we use a muscle relaxing drug that prevents the use of legs, arms and in rare cases, the respiratory system. We have also come across cases where people merely enjoyed themselves, making the muscle relaxant far more effective in arrests.

Warrants are only required to make raids on buildings which fall under Section CXI of the System of Justice, namely those belonging to businesses with an annual income over more than 100 million CXP or sanctioned individuals with an annual income in excess of 2.5 million CXP.

Generally speaking, we section you off a portion of land and give you pretty much free reign, except that we assign you an independant accountant to keep track of your books. So in regards to what you do with libraries and such that is your call. Any military constructs (Not materials) must be cleared with the Ministry for Social Defense prior to construction/import.)

(OOC: Well Cruxgrad certainly has land if it has anything, of course the fact an area the size of Texas would be nothing but snowy wasteland is neither here nor there. Also curious -why- you would need an amount about the size of Texas... lol. Regardless of land mass used, you still have the same flat interest rate, however for such a large mass of land you would be expected to contribute money to the erection of the electrified fencing, guard towers, MG nests and so forth. So about a two-hundred and fifty million CXP (National currency))

My company Dragon Realestate would be interested in acquiring a hundred-fifty or more acres of land. On it we would like build apartments, townhouses, mansions, hotels, and anything else your residents can use. We will bring 5,000 people to build from a local construction company, and recruit whoever else we need from your populace. Once the buildings are done we will sell them to your people to operate them as they wish. We hope to make a profit of $100 million for our company. If this is alright with you we will begin construction as soon as you sell us the land...

Given the current lack of anything so much as resembling the ethical standards under which the Lossë-Elen Corporation operates, I am afraid that though I thank you for your offer, and may bear it in mind in future, I cannot bring myself to invest given the current internal affairs of Cruxgrad. However, I am curious about the prices of land within your nation, especially held in allodium with recognition of foreign legal jurisdiction, as well as any natural and human resources you may have, for potential future investment in the nation.

Thank you for your interest. Regarding the price of land, it is currently being sold at 2000 USD per square mile. We find, however, that it is far easier for international companies to simply 'rent' the land as oppossed to purchasing it, as it raises certain complications regarding immigration laws.

In regards to our natural resources, we have very few. Enough minerals to produce equipment and buildings for our own nation but not to export, though we have fairly vast quantities of untapped oil. Our primary resource in such regard is infact land, of which we have plenty to spare.

As for human resources, we have approximately 4% unemployment at the moment which could be rectified with the increase of businesses. We also have a fair amount of slave labour, currently around the number of 180,000 bodies.
