P17 Pistol

The P17 is the new standard pistol for the Armed Forces, replacing the old M45 pistol. The P17 will be available in .45ACP like the old M45, and in line with the line of thoughts that say that the modern battlefield need a larger and more effective round, and they have found it in the .45 ACP round, which provides better power and accuracy than the old 9 x 19 mm round.

Yes, they have been thurroughly tested and found to be much better than the old M45 in most areas, which in turn was substantially better than the M1911A3 it replaced. Two pistols have been sent to your nation, free of charge due to the small number of weapons, along with a crate of .45APC ammunition. Please let us know how the testing went.

Greetings Noble Arms-dealer,

I would like to purchase five thousand of these pistols. Out of curiousity, do they come with rubber bullets? Our SDE's have a no kill policy until criminals can undergo proper, public execution. As such rubber bullets are a must, we do not want anyone dying too early if we can avoid.

Faithfully,
Sir Voran Kortz,
Minister for Social Defense.

Eurasia and Oceana will take 10,000 pistols if the supplier so permits. The Red Army of Eurasia and Oceana is, how shall I put this, short of money at the moment, and therefore a sturdy pistol is needed for to train our new recruits before a suitable rifle is developed.

I feel that 600$ for a pistol is way to exspensive for my nation. Our bulk of our nation still uses Ak-74's as there main assualt wepoen. For our side arm, we use the old faithfull mak75. But we do have a strong special forces(125,000) that carry the AK-107/108. But we lack a modern pistol for our special forces.

The United Socialist States of Russia an East Europe will not go to war any time soon with any nation. But to maintain the sphere of influence in our smaller states, we need to have a strong militery. So, The United Socialist States of Russia an East Europe will buy 100 P17 Pistol for now, and give it to our commandos.

100x$600= $60,000 USD.

Confirmed. Final delivery for the 100,000 P17-units will be in one NS year.

We do not currently have magazines that can fit 20 rounds, but the request have been lodged to the research division, which confirms the possibility of making 20 round magazines. They will however take more time and money to make, with the projected time for final delivery for the magazines in a year. The price will be $50 per magazine. Do you wish for us to start production?

Actually, I was intending for your company to manufacture and send the rubber bullets along with the guns.

25-08-2005, 19:47
That may be possible, if you are willing to pay the price. $1,500 per crate containing 2000 rounds of rubber bullets + shipping costs. That's the offer.

That is an unacceptable price, as such we shall produce the rubber ammunition ourselves. We shall await the order and pay you can extra twenty thousand USD if you can have them here in half the time.

Nice, but We will keep the SA12, it's prefferred, as it can accept a bayonet.

No, I don't know why we have pistols that accept bayonets. The Specialists like them for some reason. And who am I do argue with the specialists.

The specialists are the name given to our special forces, by the way.

Well, if you provide the gold, we'll make the gun. It'll be $24,000 for the weapon, and an additional $10,000 for the ammunition (we have to enlist goldsmiths for making this weapon and ammunition). Once the gold is provided, it'll take the goldsmiths roughly four weeks to make the gun. Then, an additional week for a skilled goldsmith to engrave the name into the gun. It'll be engraved on the left side of the slide, if that's no problem. Then, we'll send it to your country in a military C-21B Learjet accompanied by four Special Forces soldiers.

EVALUATION REPORT

Subject: HSR Mk. 1 Sniper rifle
Tester: SSGT J. Danielsen (Senior Instructor, Army Sniper Training Facility)

Following a week of intensive testing of the subject "HSR Mk. 1" snipers rifle, I have discovered that the weapon is

(a) far too heavy for effective combat
(b) fires a unconventional and insufficiently tested round
(c) has a too low magazine capacity when one looks at the weight and size

Therefore, my conclusion and recommendation is that the Army should not purchase the "HSR Mk. 1".
