OOC: Participant, you know who you are. This is in association with the current events of the upcoming AMF-Praetonia Conflict (and yes, I know it hasn't started yet), but is more of an independent peaceful RP showing the viewpoints and such of some neutral nations in regards to the conflict. Anyways, to start it off...
Dramatis Personae - The Major Omzian Players
Honourable Loran Vansare, MP Socialist-NDP Coalition, HHPH: The 53-years-old President of the Omzian Democratic Republic, acting as both the chief of state and the head of government. Heading the Socialist Party in the Parliament, he is currently debating with himself and others in regards to the Omzian position on the current Automagfreek mobilization and the possible threat it might pose against an Omzian ally, Praetonia.
Honourable Jonares Logan, MP Socialist-NDP Coalition, HHM, RFMM: Minister of the Omzian Ministry of National Defence, responsible for matters relating to the Omzian Forces and their possible involvement in conflicts around the world, on a political level. Like many people in the MoND, he is a former naval officer, retiring at the age of 47 as a Vice Admiral. However, belonging to the New Democratic Party (NDP), he is also a major supporter of Omzian isolationism as well.
Honourable Jon Moran, MP Socialist-NDP Coalition, HHM: Minister of the Omzian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responsible for foreign affairs and Omzian ties to various nations belonging to the rest of the world. A healthy and optimistic 48-years-old, he graduated from university with a PhD in International Relations and a master’s degree in Business Administration, and has served a short time in the Omzian Army. He speaks a total of four languages, including Omzian and English. He is fairly conservative his thoughts, but believes in protecting Omzian interests both domestic and abroad.
First Admiral Gonares Toran, OFN: Chief of Headquarters, Omzian Navy; and Chief Director of Naval Operations, Omzian Forces High Command. A 56-years-old career naval officer, he is responsible for directing all Omzian Naval operations on the strategic level from his headquarters in Port Hagras. Having served on submarines for tens of years prior to his promotion to this prestigious position, he has extensive ties to Osaria Politics as well, being a member of the Socialist Party. He is a proponent of Omzian involvement in international affairs for the sake of fulfilling obligations to allies, despite being centrist and isolationist in his views of the world.
Air Marshal Joran Peterson: Chief of Headquarters, Omzian Air Force Combat Operations; and Acting Chief Director of Aerial Operations, Omzian Forces High Command. A 58-years-old pilot aboard bombers for over 30 years in his life, is responsible for controlling Omzian Air Force affairs and operations regionally and around the globe. He helped to shape the Omzian strategic bombing force in the Omzian Air Force's darkest and neglected days, and is a major, conservative but isolationist, proponent of greater Omzian involvement in international affairs.
Fleet Admiral Saunderhurst: Chief of Military Intelligence, Omzian Forces High Command; and Supreme Director of Omzian Naval Intelligence Operations, Omzian Navy. A university graduate-turned officer holding a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, he is responsible for all Omzian Military Intelligence operations, and works closely to the DAZDAK, the Omzian residential intelligence service. A young 51-years-old man, he is a seasoned destroyer officer-turned intelligence officer, and has worked closely with the Organisation of Maritime Powers as well.
Vice Chief Dorstan Bonkares: Vice Chief of the Omzian Interior Ministry, Director of DAZDAK operations. A seasoned, 63-years-old intelligence operator and field agent-turned armchair intelligence operations director, he is the chief of all intelligence-gathering operations in the DAZDAK. Not much else is known about him, but he is believed to be deeply involved in Osaria politics, and is a major proponent of Omzian isolationism.
Honourable Zen Hogan, MP Socialist-NDP Coalition, HHPP: A member of the Omzian People's Parliament, he is one of the major players of Omzian foreign affairs, acting as the head of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs and Relations. A fairly conservative diplomat and politician, he is another proponent of Omzian isolationism - but at the same time, ironically, he is also a major supporter of the Republic's continued involvement in the OMP and UWP.
Honourable Bonkares Logan, MP Progressive Union, HHPP: A strongly influential politician in his own party, Logan is the vice chief of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs and Relations. Often clashing with Hogan on various issues, he was a seasoned environmentalist. Leaning towards the left, he is also a major proponent of the end of Omzian involvement in militaristic organizations, along with terminating Omzian relations with non-democratic, militaristic, and potentially imperialist states, despite being one of the major proponents originally of joining the NATO alliance.
Honourable Moran Gonzares, MAC Independent, HHEP: A member of the Parliament and the chief of the Administration Council's Committee on Armed Forces Operations, Goran is an experienced senator in the Council with extensive relationships with the top figures in the Omzian government, despite sometimes clashing with his more powerful counterparts in terms of foreign relations, being an isolationist even though he supports Omzian involvement in organizations such as the OMP and UWP.
