On WCLA - Palixia
Today was a sad day for Rock fans across Palixia, the last rock radio station in Palixia WHFS has switched to a Esperanto pop radio station. Joe Strummer being in a rock band himself has tried to help the purpose but he cannot control the stations as the communications buiness are in the private sector, the last song played was Pink Floyd - Shine on you crazy diamond before switching. the 20th annual HSFestival is still planned but may be the last one. Local Punkie Jimmy Gonaris had to say this "Dude, this ain't cool, we were okay when one station changed to a Spanish rap station but now all it is, is urban, pop-punk, rap and Esperanto stations."

We will have more updates later. Though the former radio DJ's of WHFS and WOOC have made a webstie playing punk and rock music. Visit WHFS.com for more

(OOC: This is whats happening in real life, we must stop it!)

(OOC: not true, Radio 2 over here in Brittland plays the occasional decent song, including a kickass documentary they did on the life of Pink Floyd, then there's Radio (arrow i think) formerly known as Radio Ting, a Belgian Radio station which plays many classics of the rock Genre, i've also been able to tune in to Radio KISS Texas which plays a lot of decent modern rock, the only stations you really must avoid are the local radio stations, we have Vibe FM which plays 24 hours non-stop Dance Trance and R&B remixeses, then of course we have SGR which plays Chavland music interupted every two hours by a five minute News broadcast)

IC: RadioGruen Stations 2, 3 and 7 all transmit regular rock programmes, and RadioGruen Station 5 is a specialist rock channel (with some blues programmes at the weekend). Any Palixians able to receive transmissions are warmly invited to tune in.

OOC: That sucks - we still have BBC Radio 2 & 6 over here, both of which are quite good.

OOC: Well, I thought I was the only Marylander in NS... What county, I'm in Harford

IC: We are glad Gruenberg will help us with this crisis in Palixia, we are currently working so that we can get signals to reach to Gruenberg.

OOC: I'm also a Marylander. Prince Georgian.

Generic empire is a Virginian, but he and I were bitching about HFS changing formats the day it happened. I usually toggle between Arrow 94.7 and Mix 107.3 now that Mix changed their format (for the better, IMO).
