"We interrupt our regular programing for this emergency address from The President of the Dominion of Insatiable Curiosity."
"Fellow citizens of Insatiable Curiosity and members of the international community. As most of you know, yesterday an explosion occured at the Athena Nuclear Power Plant located just outside of Spinoz City killing 47 plant employees. Sections of Spinoza City and New Sparta are still without power. Due to safeguards built into the plant itsef there has been no radioactive fallout at this point. However, the plant is still buring and evacuations of surrounding areas is still taking place as a percaution.
It was initially asssumed and reported that this was an accidental explosion. We now know that this is not the case. We now know that Insatiable Curiosity has joined too many other nations of the world by being victim to a terrorist attack. I repeat, the explosion at the Atena Nuclear Plant was no accident. I cannot go into the entirety of the evidence at this point because this an ongoing investigation.
I can tell you this. We have recovered two dead bodies that have been positively identified as non-plant personal. These bodies were recoved in a secure area and they were armed. We also have survallience tapes of these two men and a third infiltrator, a female, planting explosives in various areas of the plant. Some of these explosives were detenated, others were removed by bomb squads. The female accomplice was captured four hours ago by Federal Agents. However, due to circumstances that are still being investigated, I am sorry to tell you that she was able to take her own life before trained interigators were able to question her.
We have not yet been able to identify any of the terrorists. We have sent photos and fingerprints to our closest allies but so far none no match has been found. Nor has any group claimed responsibility for this deplorable act. We ask the international community for help in identifying the group or nation repsonsible for this act of war. We are sending all the information we have to all friendly nations as I speak we and ask their collective help in identifying these agents of terror.
To whom ever is reponsible for this action, know this. The Dominion of Insatiable Curiosity is not terrorized by your vile actions. We will mourn our losses. We will rebuild our structures. You can scurry out of the darkness to topple our buildings, but you are impotent to affect the heart and will of our people. Whatever your goals, whatever your desires, you have done nothing here to further them. All you have done is solidify the will of a powerful and proud nation. Our collective forces are on full alert. We stand ready and consider our nation to be in a state of war. Make no doubt, have no illusions, we will find you, we will bring our might against you, and we will eradicate you.
We are headed for trying times my fellow citizens. We will prove equal to the tasks that lay ahead of us."
