In an effort to stretch Demidia's military power to its limit, ESCO Aviation was given a contract to pursue programs which would allow the Government to have an advantage in tracking. Hence Project BNET was born.
History
AirNet was the brainchild of a Dr. Joseph Lee. Through the Battlefield Network Programme or Project BNET. The R&D for this prject was done at the Le Ble Institute for Military and Scientific Study.
AirNet
AirNet itself is simply the use of a multifunction information distribution system (MIDS), multi-source integration (MSI) of the aircraft's own sensor data and that of friendlies using the MIDS. Radar stations on aircraft, ships and surface stations as well as Infra Red, send their tracks to a central processing location via satellite and it is then processed and sent back to all units. Giving troops, pilots and ship captains the ability to track targets using radar posts around the world.
The AirNet Battlefield Network has been field tested, de-bugged, and installed in Demidian Networks across the globe.
