General O'Neil sat in the contol room and watched as the Stargate flaired into life. "SG-4 Coming in hot!" Sam said from the back room, as the first of the men appeared through the portal.

One was wounded and being carried on the back of Major Kalis. I thought it was supposed to be a peaceful mission, The General thought and then realised somthing, Arn't there 4 members of SG-3?

He ran down the stairs and through the thick doors to the gate room. Medics clustered round the injured SG-3 member and others tried to get the rest of SG-3 to come down to the medical wing.

"What happened to him?" O'Neil asked the Major once he had made his way through the scrum.

"Got a staff blast in the cheast and arm, he's pritty bad, I got clipped." The Majors voice was unemotional and solid, as though he was still in shock. "A load of Goa’uld jumped us, guess they must have captured the Tokra delegate and found out the co-ordiates."

O'Neil nodded, "How many where there?" He asked,

"Dunno, a hell of lot though, a 4 Death Gliders, we downed one but.." Again the general nodded as the man trailed off into silence.

"And what happened to Dr Richards?"

"Captured. I guess they're far away by now."

"Which system lord was it? Anubis? Baal?"

"I didn't reconsie him, must be a new guy." O'Neil nodded and let the man go off to the medical wing.

Ismaitha sat before a floor to ceiling mirror, dressed only in a thin white robe, and groomed her red, inhumanly so, hair. She tried not to think about the hunger, as Inmataithad, her lover and consort entered the room, doors smoothly sliding apart as he arrived. She knew where he was always of course, all Wraith were able to see through the eyes of other wraith of the same hive and in reasonable proximity but the bond between Inmataithad and Ismaitha was much closer. It was a bond created by passion and mutual respect, and it could cross the gulf of stars as easily as she could reach out and touch him.

She rose from her ornately carved antique chair, and smiled, leaning forwards to kiss him. She leaned back, slightly surprised, “You have a surprise, don’t you?” she said, and the hunger flared again, hoping for a meal. He nodded, bringing his hands from behind his back. He held in his hand a device that looked like a bundle of crystal shards bound together by metallic bands. The item glowed with a diffuse light, but it did nothing for the hunger, and though her Id was irate, Ismaitha knew that whatever it was, it was a gift of some kind for her. She took the device, turning it this way and that, wondering what it was.

Eventually, she decided that it defied explanation, and looked into the eyes of Inmataithad, “What is it my love?”

He gave a feral grin, “The solution to our problems,” he said, and gave her knowledge.

Ismaitha tilted her head back as she felt the memories of her lover, learning from the last culling he had attended, of a device on that world called ‘the Potentia’ by the animals there. The Atlanteans, in need of a power source for their great ships and cities, created it long ago as a device that allowed them to breach the void between galaxies or open a star-gate over such distances.

Ismaitha grinned, tightening her grip on the power source “Earth,” she said, “we are coming…”

The Junias city of Intara
the massive ships were docked and several F-304 "liberator"s circled the city patatroling the citys airspace. Massive plumes of smoke filled the air and craters covered the ground, many sky scrapers were towering infernos and filled with giant holes. It was a horrible sight to see, medical personnel and soldiers roamed the streets searching through the reckage and rubble. The gou'ald that attacked was fended off but the city was decimated. Several ha'tak class vessles bombarded the city from the orbit, luckily the ships did not target the capital city of toulanna which sits just 200 miles from the city of intara, The docking bays were almost unscaved except for a control tower that fell victom to the orbital bombardment. No ships were lost to this attack due to the quick action of the defending ships and planitary ion cannons. The gou'ald that attacked was unknown and it was uncertain if they suffered any losses. Although the city of Intara houses a top secret military testing facility , a military base, and a ship docking facility the gou'ald target was unknown since none of these possible targets sustained any damage, it was supprising that the gou'ald did not target the capital city of Toulanna which houses the stargate. The stargate is located in a underground facility with the highest security of Junias it has multiple levels with the stargate being on the lowest floor, the top is secured by a military base, a series of massive blast doors, a tunnle running from the enterance with a 4 foot blast door and a blast door and security check point/guard station with a second blast door
followed by a short tunnle to the next blast door which is blocking the enterance to the highspeed transport pods, The tunnle is the most magnificent of all of the security, Its security tops all of the other security measures consisting of automated gatteling gun turrets, detractable road spikes, and the best of all the gas emiters (when the tunnel is sealed it can be filled with a gas), and a "firestorm" system (the tunnle is filled with flamible gases and then ignited). The next best security is the "portal" or "gate room" which has two enterances each with two interlocking doors. The gate has a trineum iris to prevent un wanted travelers from entering. The gate teams use a remote signal device to send their code to the gate operator.

Ismaitha smiled as she looked out of the holographic displays of the massive and terrifying Hive Ship ‘Wraith Dawn’ It had taken time, quite a lot of time, not to mention testing, to assemble the object that the ‘Wraith Dawn’ formed the core of. A lattice holding the Midnight Hive’s five great hive ships, and their escorts, combining their power into one whole that synchronised their hyper drive engines.

It was a journey of millions of light years from the Pegasus Galaxy to the Milky Way, and it would take time, even with the Potentia powering Ismaitha’s ships, and require many stopovers. In the time that the Midnight Hive had prepared, they had harvested many humans for their provisions. They had taken entire populations, in defiance of the usual procedures for the maintenance of their feeding grounds, into their great arks, stargates, valuables, technological trinkets and other such things, if they could not find easily worlds with prey on them, they would need, after all, to seed new human herds.

“We stand,” Ismaitha said, awed, to Inmataithad, aboard another ship, and to the other members of the hive, a telepathic public broadcast, of a form “at the greatest moment in the history of our Race. Beyond us lies our promised land, where billions of humans await us, and other races, each of which we shall, in time, sample.

“Our journey shall be long,” she continued, “but we are resolute, and we are determined. We are not just driven by hunger, but by the will to improve our race, to expand and grow, learn and overcome. We will go to the stars of the untamed cattle, and we shall feast, and grow strong once more.

“I have a vision, my kin, a vision of the conquest of all the realm of the Atlanteans, and then, once we have fed, and dominated, we shall impose our will on this galaxy. We will domesticate humanity, and our strength shall at last overcome that of our long-exterminated enemy.

“Now we depart our stars for unknown struggle and challenges, with immeasurable riches for our taking. My comrades, my beloved kin, you have your roles, let us begin.”

As one, the hive, united in one place for the first time in centuries, disappeared into hyperspace, each soul among them eager and hopeful. And also hungry.

Now that the Goa'uld have captured him they'll be able to torture the co-ordiates of earth out of him. And no doubt the Goa'uld will try to seize the opertunity."

O'Neil sat back in his chair, "Great news!" He said, "Anything else to cheer me up Daniel, or is that it?"

"We've had no success on tracking down the name of the System Lord that captured Richards. It seems that there is a new Lord in town." He leaned back, "And the Tokra have confirmed one of there opratives have gone missing. They won't twell us any more that."

There was a air of dispondency around the table. "So, in short, theres a rouge System Lord with unknown powers, strength and everything else, with the co-ordianates for earth, ready to attack us."

Coanal Carter nodded, "Yes, sir."

"Great just great. And I've got paperwork to do and I've got to tell the president about this. And just add onto that, Beta site has just been destroyed." There was a gasp from the table,

"Are you sure sir?" O'Neil nodded,

"Goa'uld attack, 1 guy managed to get through the gate before the rest where killed when the bases self distruct went off. I've got a load of dead US servicmen on my hands now. Any more good news?"

"No."

"Oh, thats good.Now can sombody open up a portal to the Asguard? I want a to talk to Thor, Sam, get ready for a mission through the gate."

Average - ive seen alot worse, mabye you could have made it a bit longer and put more description into "the plan" - build some tension and freak out Aust.

Tjhe Dr looked at the man, "No. I won't." He said slowly, wincing in pain from a staff blast wound in his side. "Theres no way into earth. No way unless you wehre the ancients themselves."

Ismaitha smiled. The hive had stopped, for a short time, while repairs were made to their engines, and while the ships radiated excess heat into the cold vacuum of space. Two guards, burly wraith with limited intellect, brought in a wretched looking bag of bones, letting go of his arms, they dropped him into the feeding chamber. In richer times, she would perhaps have indulged in feeding her meal, but now, there was no time for such niceties.

The animal spat something in some fluting human language, and she idly backhanded the base creature, rewarded with a cry of pain. The human spat a bloody tooth from its mouth, and Ismaitha reached down to the crudely spun fabric that passed for its clothes, a sharpened talon easily tearing and parting the cloth, laying the animal’s hairy chest bare.

Almost theatrically she slapped her splayed right hand onto the human’s chest, he was whimpering something, doubtless pleas for her to deny her hunger, in his alien tongue, which she payed no mind as her fingernails and the mouth on her hand tore her skin.

She felt fluid flow from her and into the creature, and its life flowing back in return, driving down the hunger. The taste was insipid, and weak, not what she could have hoped for, but it was filling enough to sate her hunger. The human’s flesh folded, the feeding process that flooded alien chemicals into his bloodstream broke aging as cells.

Shaking her head, she pushed the dead human aside as his heart gave out.

She earnestly hoped the Milky Way would hold better morsels. Half way there already, were she human, she would have begun salivating at the thought…

The O'Neill class ship, Erone, emerged from hyperspace high above the atmosphere of the planet below. Although so large, the cloaking technology ensured that it would not be spotted from the surface by any means unless it wished to be seen.

A single bright beam shot out from the craft down to the surface of Earth. Seconds later it was gone and General O’Neill stood in the command room of the Erone.

Thor turned to face him, “Greetings O’Neill, I came as soon as was possible.”

"I do not O'Neill", said Thor as he stood behind the ships control panel. "There have been several new Goa'uld Lords come to power since the destruction of Anubis' fleet above your planet and the assasination of Lord Yu."

Thor rotated one of the stones on his panel and a map of the galaxy appeared on the viewing screen.

"As you can see, the Goa'uld numbers are growing and they have begun to spread. I cannot remain here for long, my ship is needed elsewhere.

O'Neil nodded, "So I understand, my SG teams have come under a lot of fire when visiting 'safe' planets latley. Is there anything else that you can tell me?"

"Wormhole engaged, SG-1 preparing to depart." A matallic voice echoed throughout the gate room and the contol room, SG-1 where preparing to leave once more on another mission. This time they where exploring the world of P-642, they ahdn't been there before and who knew what would be on the otherside?

The 3 members of SG-1 stepped into the blue screen and vanished, remurging on the other side of the galexy, on the planet known to it's people as Junias.

The defence teams are in place and the last cheveron locked, and the event horision was formed (http://mikes-images.co.uk/misc/stargate/images/stargate_mq_065cd.jpg). The defence team sat awaiting for their enemies to come through, or a possible allie.

then only seconds later 3 men stepped through and the wormhole closed.

he then walked down to the gate room to greet the 3 people, "welcome to junias I am general granger, and you are in the Junas capital city of Toulanna, in the Portal facility, I must ask you to give up your weapons for the time beeing, I assure you that your weapons will be returned as soon as we determine if you are a threat, also I must ask what is your puropse here?"

There exists a story from long ago, a mere mythic legend that has faded from Goa’uld genetic memory. A story that excites a dread fascination amongst the more superstitious of this parasitic species. Long ago, longer than any Goa’uld can remember, the System Lord known as Ulhothep ruled over a vast stellar empire within Goa’uld space. He commanded the loyalty of countless vassals and warriors through a mixture of respect and fear. Yet even at the height of his power his ambition knew no bounds. He would not rest until every System Lord, even the Supreme System Lord, lay at his feet in worship. Ulhothep’s scheming culminated in a bloody coup d’etat that raged in the heart of Goa’uld dominion. Many met their end at the hand of Ulhothep’s legions but the combined efforts of the System Lords, in an alliance of pure conveniance, brought Ulhothep’s plans to ruin. Ulhothep’s forces were crushed and eventually his brethren bound him in chains.
However, the System Lords were far too capricious to let the story end there. Simple death would not suffice as a punishment for Ulhothep and his surviving minions. Nay, Ulhothep was thrown to the furthest corner of Goa’uld space – a world known as Karneter. How fitting it was that to the ancient Egyptians the word ‘Karneter’ equated to their version of Hell. There he would languish in exile with those who followed him devoid of artifice or company. Ulhothep raged at the humiliating retribution of his brethren. He could not allow his power to crumble like this. He could not allow his name and his legacy to go forgotton. Yet, it would seem that this was the fate of Ulhothep. Without suitable hosts or access to the life-prolonging magicks of the Sarcophagus the inevitable and slow march of time would see him vanish from this life without a whisper. As such, the exiled System Lord, stubborn in his power-hungry ambitions, set his followers to seeking alternate methods of escaping death.
It was some time before the Exiles grew any closer to finding a solution to the problem they faced. After a long period of anguished failures Ulhothep’s First Prime, a brilliant warrior-scholar who was to become the first High Priest of Ulhothep, came foreword with their salvation. In a fusion of archaic techno-sorcery, salvaged relic-devices and Goa’uld science the First Prime had discovered a ritual-science that would allow Ulhothep and his followers to escape death. It did not take long for a desperate Ulhothep to order its immediate implementation and quickly the ritual of Amu Sanaptra was begun.
It was not until after the completion of the Amu Sanaptra that Ulhothep realised the true folly of his brash decision. The process of the ritual fundamentally changed the physiology of both symbiote Goa’uld and host-body. The parasite Goa’uld found that they were bound permanently to their host, unable to leave. They found also that rather than escape death they had, instead, transcended it. They existed in a state between life and death. Their host bodies began to crumble and decay as the march of time ravaged their unliving forms. In order to continue existing in this state Ulhothep developed rituals of embalming, not dissimilar to those used in ancient Egyptian and Meso-American cultures, to preserve their slowly rotting flesh.
Ulhothep became bitter. Blame was laid at the feet of his brother System Lords. Their exile had forced this state of Unlife upon him. Over time this bitterness extended to all life. Who can say when it began, but Ulhothep’s followers turned their rage upon those who lived. Great Harvests of the living were conducted in a morbid act of vengeance and Ulhothep’s followers consumed their bloody yields in an effort to invigorate their rotting corpse-hosts. It was said in Goa’uld legend that if one fell to the hands of Ulhothep then your very soul itself was consumed to perpetuate his unnatural life. As such, the exiled Goa’uld became known as “Kelshek’tak” – eater of souls. Ulhothep’s name became a refrain used to scare young host-slaves into obediance on Goa’uld controlled worlds. Ulhothep became the “Eater of Shades” – as he himself lived beyond death so did his name.


Of course, that was all a superstitious legend, Ulhothep thought as his cracked lips creaked into a grotesque smile. It had been too long since Ulhothep had laid eyes upon the stars. It was only now that he had acquired enough strength to return from his long exile. He had been forgotten by the System Lords but now he could complete the grand ambition he began so many millennia ago. Now he could return. Those who turned their backs on him would remember. He would make them remember. His vengeance would be bloody. The Red Harvest now awaits and the scythe is ready for the reaping.
“Kaadus,” the raspy voice of Ulhothep intoned. “What do you see before you?”
Ulhothep’s hand swept across the viewscreen of the ‘Black Sepulchre’ Ha’tak class Pyramid ship.
“The stars, my Lord?” said the Anubis-headed guard hesitantly. Ulhothep chuckled a little.
“Nay, not merely the stars. I see more than stars. I see much more. I see between the veil of mere space. I see my destiny. Our destiny. Our vengeance. I see a galaxy the has reduced us to this!” Ulhothep exclaimed, looking in pain at his linen-wrapped hands. Kaadus could only nod.
“Dust and bones.” Ulhothep sighed. Glancing towards Kaadus the fallen System Lord offered a piercing gaze. “I trust the preparations have been made?”
“Indeed they have, my Lord, we are ready.” Replied the warrior. “Your command is all that is needed.”
“You know what needs to be done. Release the transmission on all channels through the chappa’ai. No one will escape it. All will see it. They will all see and they will all understand.
With Ulhothep’s words Kaadus turned and left. Moments later the black sands of Karneter spewed forth dozens of Goa’uld ships to join their master. The transmission was sent through the Stargate – countless destinations were dialled and countless destinations would become the targets of Ulhothep's cryptic message. The transmission was but three simple words yet its meaning was clear to whomever would hear it. “We are Legion” the transmission repeated, over and over.

he then walked down to the gate room to greet the 3 people, "welcome to junias I am general granger, and you are in the Junas capital city of Toulanna, in the Portal facility, I must ask you to give up your weapons for the time beeing, I assure you that your weapons will be returned as soon as we determine if you are a threat, also I must ask what is your puropse here?"

We would be happy to discuss a alliance between our two worlds, but these are tragic times and many lives have just been lost to the attack, on any other occasion we would be less strict but in this time of war one cannot be too careful, we would like you to undergo a few simple tests to make sure you are not Gould, If you would just follow me this way so you can be checked over by our medical staff, so we can discuss our alliance as soon as possible" as the general motioned for the team to follow him

"ah yes the iris, it was the idea of one of our best scientists, It is made of a extremly strong metal found on our planet, it is called quadrinium, it is much stronger than the metal used by the goualds that they call trinium, It is used in the iris, our ships and several other aplications arround junias, Yes I do agree that our two worlds sharing a thought of a iris, After the attacks by the gouald several hundred years ago, several government officials did not like the idea of having the stargate and wanted to burry it, The only solution to keep the stargate opperational while keeping a high level of protection was placing the iris over the stargate, we would like to see your designs some time, we may be able to share thoughts on the design, and perhaps exchange technology and resources."
the general said as they entered the medical room

"I will leave you to be tested for now, It shouldent be long, we must only do some simple tests. Major carter, doctor jackson and jerak, this is our top doctor Thomas Grimm. He will be running a few tests for us now. We may get to business once you have been tested" the general said as he introduced the visitors and then left.

"ah yes the visitors from earth, as general Granger has said I am Thomas Grimm the head of medical staff in this facility. I just need to take some blood samples and tests to make sure you are not gouald, it is just a percausionary measure i assure you, just take a seat and we can begin" the doctor said as he led the team over the the beds to have a seat and take the blood sample

Sam nodded to her companions and they all submitted to the blood tests and then waited to be shown around.

The last two destinations had been dialled into the chappa'ai. Two worlds populated by the Tau'ri. There was ancient Terra - the birthworld of humanity. Ra was master of that world...how long it had been since he had seen curs'd Ra - Ulhothep did not even know if Ra still held his power. Nevertheless, the world of Ra would remember him and would weep at his terrible vengeance.
The second world was another Tau'ri world. Aeons ago it was also controlled by the choking power of one of the System Lords. But that was long ago. Ulhothep doubted whether the Goa'uld still clung to that world. It was know to those who dwelled there as Junias. Its true name - its Goa'uld name - was probably long forgotton.
Ulhothep stood before the chappa'ai, staring into the rippling surface of the gleaming pool. His unnatural eyes were transfixed by it. Beyond its portal lay a galaxy that had destroyed him. Beyond its portal lay a harvest ready for reaping.
The simple Vox message was broadcast through the stargate's wormhole - directed at both Junias and Earth. "Our number is legion, our name is Death" it said. No doubt by now the chappa'ai had opened on the otherside...

General O'Neil ran through the corrodors of the SGC, making his way towards the gate room, he was in his blue jumpsuit, with a pistol in a holster and no other weapons.

The iris was closing as he ran in and men where running into position. "What the hells going on?" He asked of a technition who was monotoring a bank of computers.

"We just had somone open a unscedualed wormhole, from a gate on the far side of the galaxy. We havn't been there before and as far as we know nobody else except Goa'uld forces exist over there, we've never been that far out."

There was a burst of activite from the other side of the room, "A message has come through sir!" Another technition barked before broadcasting the message around the command room, number is legion, our name is Death.

Well somone got up oin the wrong side of bed this morning, O'Neil thought before sending a return message through the gate: "I am General O'Neil, of Stargate command, representing the peoples of earth, who the hell are you?"

Ulhothep sat intently upon his throne. To descibe it merely as a throne was an understatement. The massive dais occupied the greater part of the ha'tak pyramid ship's command bridge. An elaborate affair of gold and precious stone, every inch of its surface was adorned with elaborate depictions of the ancient Gods and Kings of Egypt - but where faces should be where only grimacing skulls. Around the carved illustrations ran inscribed hieroglyphics proclaiming Ulhothep's glory. Ulhothep's bony linen-wrapped fingers thumbed the gem-runes of the command armrest.
"My Lord," came the ghostly voice of one of Ulhothep's many attendant Hierophants, sorceror-scientists charged with maintaining the Unlife of Ulhotheps minions.
"What warrents disturbing my contemplation?" Ulhothep replied, staring at the Hierophant with eyes burning like bale-fires.
"My Lord, the Tau'ri have sent a reply."
"A reply?" Ulhothep spat. "The Tau'ri have the audacity to reply?" The Tau'ri had certainly grown much more...independant. His thumb pressed hard into a glowing gem-button and immediatly the return transmission began to play.
"I am General O'Neil, of Stargate command, representing the peoples of earth, who the hell are you?" the disembodied voice enquired.
General O'Neil. It seemed that the Tau'ri had wrestled control of Earth from Ra. Ulhothep smiled at that thought. These ignorant apes had managed to overcome the Supreme System Lord. Ulhothep could only hope that this sign of weakness had ended Ra's life the knife of an overambition usurper in his back.
Ulhothep spoke, his own Voice transmitting through the Chappa'ai.
"I am Ulhothep, the Eater of Shades, Lord beyond Death, System Lord of the Black Sands, Aspect of the God-King and Avatar of the Morgue-God. Who are you to dare to question me?"
As the voice spoke, an image of death appeared in the SGC gateroom. A flickering hologram of a skeletal face attoped with a crowned headress adorned with gilt inlaid skulls in a vile mockery of the stately regalia worn by the Pharoes of Egypt and certain Goa'uld System Lords. The temperature of the gateroom dropped noticably, jets of steaming breath exuding from the lips of the soldiers reading around the Iris. Those present could not help but feel as if a dark force was at work, many of the soldiers could feel the hairs on the back of their necks stand on end.

"ah I see you all passed the tests just fine, so now we may begin the tour of the facility, and our alliance discussions" said general Granger as he arrived at the medical facility to escort his guests

"I now can show you the rest of the facility, we will begin with the gate room, you may follow me" the general becan to take the guests to the gate room

"unautherized gate activation, wormhole ingaged, Iris ingaged and locked, defence teams to the gate room, defence teams to the gate room" announced the voice over the inter com

"oh,now what said the general, Are you expecting anyone?" said the genreal as he ran to the gate room

"sir the gate just actiated we have not detected any disturbances in the gate, nothing is coming through, wait we are recieving a audio transmission"
said the gate commander

"play it" said the gerneral

"ok here it is" as the gate commander played the message

"Our number is legion, our name is Death"said the voice over the transmission, once the transmission ended the gate closed

"who the hell was that" asked the general

"we dont know, but we do have the coordinance, and adress"

"open the gate"

"dialing, cheveron 1 locked, cheveron 2, cheveron 3 cheveron 4 cheveron 5 cheveron 6, cheveron 7 locked, wormhole engaged"

"this is general Granger of the planet Junias if this is meant as a threat we will not fear you, your threats are merely a waist of time, who is the sender of the message"said the general

Tjhe Dr looked at the man, "No. I won't." He said slowly, wincing in pain from a staff blast wound in his side. "Theres no way into earth. No way unless you wehre the ancients themselves."

Sok'Kra looked at the man

"if you will not tell me you will suffer pain for years to come"

with that Sok'kra extended his hand over the man and began using his Ribbon device. the man screamed in pain, he was dieing, but before the man fell dead Sok'kra stoped. the man lie almost dead on the floor.

"Jaffa! bring Mo'tet"

the Jaffa bowed, said "yes my lord" and left to get Mo'tet

Sok'kra turned back to the man lieing on the floor

"soon i will know your secrets..."

O'Neil nodded, "So I understand, my SG teams have come under a lot of fire when visiting 'safe' planets latley. Is there anything else that you can tell me?"

Thor moved across the smooth gray floor of the control room, returning to his control panel.

"Only that the return of an old Goa’uld has caused great upset within the Systems Lords”.

Thor pressed a sequence of symbols on the instrument in front of him.

“I will investigate into this more. It may take some time, however.”

With that O’Neill vanished in a flash of blue light, sending him back to the SGC. The Erone engaged its thrusters, pulling out of Earth’s orbit. As the ship accelerated away from the planet, its speed continued to increase before it finally shot off into hyperspace.

O'Neil took a step back as the hologram appeared before him, just another system lordhe thought. He noticed the tempreture dropping as the hologram appeared and ignored it.

"I am the man who has led many defeats of Goa'uld system lords, at my feet, or those of my people, Ra has fallen, Anubis has fallen and more othrs than I care to mention. And you shall if you don't get the hell out of my gate room right now."

Carter drew her gun and becan to run after the man, the others did the same. She heard the General make his message and made her way into the contol room, "General, could you dial my homeworld please, I think my commander would like to know about this."

The flickering electronic image stared intently into the eyes of O'Neil. Eyes burned with witch-fires as the skeletal face began to speak once more.
"Ape, you dane to threaten me? I who has watched the birth and collapse of Empires? Who has seen entire species born and die? I who hath commanded stars since before your kind crawled on its bellies from the seas? You dare threaten me?"
The skeletal face seemed to smile...well, smile as best a skull can.
"You have killed Ra and Anubis? Oh how my kinsmen shame all Goa'uld. It would seem that you have completed much of my plan in my stead. For that...favour...I shall grant you a quicker death." The creature sneered. With that the wormhole to Earth closed leaving the Tau'ri of Earth to consider what they have just seen.

Within moments however, an incoming wormhole once more disturbed Ulhothep's thoughts. It was from the world the Tau'ri call 'Junias'.
Ulhothep spat.
"General Granger, know now that for the actions of your kind the Tau'ri have made an enemy of the Unliving God."
The Chappa'ai disengaged as suddenly as it was opened.

"yes we will dial earth immediatly"the genreal replied to major carter as he motioned for the gate commander to dial earth

"yes sir, begining dialing sequence, cheveron 1 locked, cheveron 2, cheveron 3, cheveron 4, cheveron5, cheveron 6, cheveron 7 locked worm hole engaged" the gate commander said as he dialed earth

"major, you can send a message now"

once major carter was finished the gate again became active

"sir we are recieving audio"

"General Granger, know now that for the actions of your kind the Tau'ri have made an enemy of the Unliving God."

"send this message, I am general Granger you are not our god and never will be, you continue to make threats but we see no actual danger, we will stand tall and with our new friends of the Tau'ri and we will strike you down,end your meaningless threats now or you will see a true threat"

the gate was dieled and as soons as it flared into life the Iris clamped shut. "Hey, Ulhothep, didn't anyone ever tell that to break off in mid sentence isn't polite? As for your favour you can keep it, it'll eb you who will be doing the dieing."

"I say we send a autonomous probe through, it scouts the initial area, sends video back, then if the initial area is not dangerous we can send a team through" said SGT 1 leader major Hawk

"ok, we will send a probe, but I want it armed, I dont want it to be completly vulnerable"

the stargate was opened and a M-12 stinger autonomous scout/combat drone was sent through.

Ulhothep silently fumed. How dare the Tau'ri speak in such a way to him? These worms would learn from their mistake. Just as the Goa'uld System Lords would.
"Sa'thotep," barked the Lord. Quickly an elaborately robed hierophant hobled towards the throne bearing the ritual head-dress of a Priest of Ulhothep.
"My Lord?" the creature said through dried, rotten, black lips and broken teeth.
"Complete the ritual of Amu Sanaptra. Rouse the Jaffa from their tombs. Awaken the Magastus. Awaken them all." came the Tomb Lord's command.
"In death we become something more," came the hierophant's ritualised reply.
"In death we become something more." Ulhothep returned.

the probe went through the stargate and found the immediate area not to be dangerous, so the probe continued to go down the steps leading up to the stargate the probe then continued to explore more.

The Erone pulled out of hyperspace above the Tau’ri ‘Beta Site’. The planet by this point had suffered the fate of many worlds conquered by the Goa’uld. The surface flowed and swirled as if covered by pools and channels of lava. Thor didn’t even need to check his sensors to know that the glowing red planet was completely irradiated. Obviously their had been nothing of value for the Goa’uld on the planet; most likely a key factor in why the Tau’ri chose it in the first place.

It had been some time since the attack. It would be very difficult to calculate where the ships went after their raid; but not impossible.

OOC: Can everyone try to use capitals and proper punctuation: it makes for a better RP and everything becomes easier to read and reply to.

Also if any goa’ulds want think there up for a battle let me know.

The scout drone pushed further away from the gate. The room was farely bare, a number of pillers supported the roof structure, daubed in hieroglyphics and simple artwork. Each picture was a story, scenes depicting Tau'ri cowering beneath the cruel weapons of skeletal fiends, and each story was as similar to another as it was chilling.
The scout drone's camera focussed on the opposite end of the room. Through its lens could be seen the portal in the roof that was obviously for a ring transporter. As the drone's camera focussed and zoomed in the portal opened and with an audible hum the rings dropped down to deploy their cargo. As the rings ascended once more two beings stood in their place. In many respects the beings were much like Jaffa. Their heads were crowned with an all encompasing helmet mimicking those of the Gods. However, the details of the anubis-headed helmets were unnervingly skeletal.
Were flesh should be instead was crumbling dried skin and bare bone bound with raggedy, dirt stained, linen bandages. Were usually the Jaffa bore a criss-crossed opening to their lavae-pouch these beings wore gold inlaid plates depicting the same emblem - a stylised skull crossed with a skeletal scarab beetle.
Within the hands of the two beings lay weapons. These weapons were very different from those carried by Goa'uld warriors. A strange combination of an intricately carved rifle and a staff-weapon.
From the sight of it, one could only wonder if these grim beings really were Goa'uld at all or rather a morbid mockery of them.

The two warriors took note of the scout drone through lifeless eyes. They slowly began to close the distance between themselves and the drone with raised weapons. They exchanged words in questioning tones in the Goa'uld tongue.

The drone uses a enhanced armor of trinium composit capable of taking several staff blasts. The drone targeted the two men and charged its weapons, Once the weapons were fully charged the drone locked on to each of the men, With a weapon locked onto each of the men, The drone then fired one charge into each of the men, taking them down with ease, the drone then fired two more shots into the jaffa laying on the floor. the drone paused to further asses the situation then dialed the gate using the wireless dialing device and opening the gate allowing it to send a message that the situation is clear.

OOC: first of all the weapon is a similar version to a zat but much more powerful, If I am correct I said the drone fired its weapons simoteneously one weapon locking onto each soldier, Now a regular zat takes 3 shots for it to disinegrate a body, so anything hit by this weapon more than twice such as a soldier would be dicentigrated. I dont know what kind of weapons you are using?

"this Is General Thomason of Junias we require to speek to general Granger immediatly" said General Thomason

they then waited for a reply from earth

Soon after a reply came back

"This is General Granger, what is the problem" Came a reply

"Sir, This is General Thomason we need you to conferm that the Earth fleet is still there"

"Yes they are, Why" Said general Granger

"We have a fleet currently over Junias saying they are of Earth orgin, We expected it was a attempted attack but we needed to confirm"

"Do what you deem nessisary, I will see what I can do from here, General Granger Out" he said

The stargate then closed

"send the ships and tell them to ring aboard the emp bombs, then send teams aboard to plant the nuclear bombs and then have the alkesh make a few bombing runs on the Ships to incopasitate them further" General thomason said to his adviser after getting the confirmation from General Granger.

he added after the connection was stopped

OOC: I think I mentioned this earlier that the Ion cannons are like the Ion cannons of the tollan and can penetrate shields.
