The RP will not take place in City 17, instead will take place in some city with a random name that nobody really cares about.

Anyway, the Citadel was blown up by Gordon and Alyx and resistances are springing up all over the world to resist the Combine. Gordon is no where to be found, but that doesn't stop the people from taking up arms against the Combine. The Combine is desperate for some way of regaining control, so they call in more alien help, so now we have Alien Soldiers oppressing the people in addition to the Combine soldiers. Now the people under Combine rule really need some help to resist. That's when the Marines come in.

Most of the Marines were lifted off of Black Mesa; Those that did became Combine soldiers. The others, however, the ones who had to face the horrors of the Black Mesa Research Facility and somehow escaped, are resurfacing to fight their former Marine buddies. Of course, they are still calling themselves the Marines.

To make matters worse for the Combine, many of the Black Ops Decided to not fight the Marines but instead joined them. A few, however, did not and are now the best the Combine can offer.

Despite the people's resources, cunning, and the help of the Marines, they are still losing the war. Some of the more greedy Resistance leaders have realized they can be of use to teh COmbine and swapped sides, giving the Combine valuable information and telling them the tactics the Resistance uses.

Then, one day, a Gyrocopter lands in the City, full of citizens and supplies for the Combine soldiers. One of these citizens is a Marine, but he doesn't know it yet. Adrian Shepard finds himself the the hope the People need to make it past this interval without Freeman.

Appearance: Brown hair, brown eyes, tall, muscular chest. Despite his rather large appearance he's not one to stick out of a crowd
Other: He's a very good leader and a very good shot, can climb well, and is an excellent driver, but he's not a very fast runner...A bit of a hero to the Marines.

I can supply the mosters and eveil people in this RP.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS, I just never really thought about making one though.

I can gather as much info as needed, I am a freaking loser who does nothing but fantasize about Half Life/2's storyline...>_>...

I liked the original for storyline better. It didn't try to have one, it was just all about survival, HL2 was about leading a resistance against a force we know nothing about, aside from the fact it's our fault it happened.

Oh yea btw:

If anyone wants to see a stripped Combine, here is a picture from a hidden model with in Half Life 2 ( you can activate it with Garry's Mod, or you can just pull out the model and make some physics for it since there really isn't any physics for it to begin with. )

Appearance: 6'1", sleek black hair with brown eyes, scar down his lef cheak and scar across his chin.
Other: Masculine, known for taking a few bullets in his time and extremely good motivator. His driving skills are exceptional, but is pretty athletic when it ccomes to sprinting. He is also a good thinker and compensator, and can usually get his people out of a " messy " situation.

Actually there is quite a storyline, but it is mostly background things that you don't really get to influence.

What was strange was they never mentioned Breen in Half Life, even though he was your " Administrator " of Black Mesa. G-Man is originaly a Physical entity, but now only appears in your head and apparently has the God defying powers to control you and the space and time around you.

My friend thinks it is Freeman who has come back in time to change everything he effed up but I highly doubt that.

And what is ironic is your last name, " Freeman ". People view you as the only " Freeman " in the world and even the Slaves ( the ones who shot electricity at you in the first game, but now work with you ) call you " The Freeman " and it can't be there " accent " for they speak like elders and in clear English when they say other things. But the real irony is, your not really free. G-Man is using like a prized bishop.

But that is what makes Valve's Half Life series so wonderful, atleast I think.

BTW, Just to let you all know:

Combine were innitialy just made out of Aliens ( Still Humanoids ).

Later Combine were Humans who went through surgery, which can be described as this ( happened at Nova Prospekt ):

Super Soldier Combine - " First we drill enormous holes into your soft, weak human flesh and tear out your internal organs, replacing them with circuitry. Then your cells are infused with alien DNA, thus stripping you of your humanity, and a mind-control implant is jammed through your occular cavity into your brain. "

So apparently, Super Soldier Combine are the original Combine, Combine Soldiers and Combine Police Officers are all just humans.

So if you were to play as a Combine, and wanted to do what you want to do, I'd suggest playing as a Super Soldier Combine.

I guess we have enough peopel to start now.

Appearance: A lot like his cousin of the same name, only with black hair. Wears contacts instead of glasses.
Other: Gordon Freeman's cousin (Father's Brother's Kid) who always had a bit of a rivalry with his cousin. He really hates it when he's confused with Gordon and at the same time reminds people that they are *both* named Gordon, after their grandfather, of, yes, the same name. He doesn't want to resist the combine but doesn't pass on information to them at the same time. He just builds things to whoever wants something built. To avoid confdusion, he calls himself Gerald instead of Gordon.

So note that I'm going to confuse you all with 2 Gordons! Even though we'll call him Gerald!
