TCS colony destroyed.

I decided to make an antagonist for TCS and other nations that was lossely based on Stalkers from Mortal Engines and Necrons from 40k, as well as the machines from The Matrix.

*Walker flipped his flashlight up toward the vents. That was the third noise in four minutes. He opened the hatch and motioned the rest of the crew to raise their flashlights. Three Green Dots shone in his eye, a metal skull illuminated by them. A flash of metal and a splash of blood. Walker slid onto the ground, his throat severed. One of the men drew a civilian Las Pistol and fired. into the vents. From his feet bursted a hideous metal skeleton, screeching with a voice that sounded like metal-on-metal. The thing grabbed his legs and jerked him under, the man screamed and fired, but the thing cut his head off and grabbed it, taking with him and fleeing. The first one sliced a man's belly open and gouged the eyes out of another, readying his bloody fingers, he lept at the other, but missed. The man hurridly ran into the hallway and shouted, the shout mutating into a scream. The walls were covered with bodies, while a lone Guardsman fired into an advancing machine, and severing the head of another, they seemed to spawn from the very walls. A metallic screech sounded from behind the worker. He sprinted fowards, to the guardsman, but the man had run out of ammo, and was fighting with one bayonet against many knived fingers. The guardsman hacked one in half, stabbed another through the head with a grunt, and cut a large red wire on another, making it fall to the ground twitching and screaming. The worker fled out of the door, just in time to watch the guardsman die a grisly end. Above him stood a 10-foot tall 4-legged machine. It's glaring eye fixed upon him, two chainguns at it's side. It screeched and fired a hail of bullets at the man, his last sight a single ship fleeing, a burning colony in ruins.*

(Im guessing this is loosely based on 40k. I collect Guard so I would be hnoured if I could have a small part as guard. If not, ill have a go at necrons.)

OOC: Eh? Renegade necrons? Urk. This will have to be investigated at best. Though to be fair, it doesn't seem to be any form of necron, but I'd probably have to send investigators if people made accusations about it being necrons.

I wanted to introduce myself, I'd like to be a terrorist nation of sorts.

Can I attack either of you?
The Ctan

OOC: You could try but it would likely result in something messy happening to your shiny new terrorist faction.

OOC: Really now, it's really unwise to try raiding Duat. If you could even land (unlikely) unnoticed, you'd be doing incredibly well.

OOC: Yup; and since your a race of machines you lack Psykers, probably lack the warp as well. Bearing in mind that the warp is anathema to the Necrons and their pesking tricks of phasing out and self-repair; its probably best not to run in all guns blazing with the wrong kinds of weapons ;)
The Ctan

OOC: Eh. No warp nonsense near me thankyouverymuchdrivethrough.
The Machinists

No, no they don't operate like that.

All I want permission to do, is to be able to attack a station or something.
The Ctan
22-08-2005, 22:20
OOC: Again, that's rather unwise, most external outposts of the C'tan are military bases.

OOC: I should really get round to RPing with you C'tan; think we could work something out?
The Machinists

See, this nation is one comprised of millions of machines alone. They dont retreat or become daunted by things like military bases, all they want is for organic life to end, and their own race of machines to come to power.

OOC: *Sigh* Very well. If you wish, and I warn you against it once more OOC, you may attack the tomb world of Doton, it's a barren rock covered in sandy desert with some ancient ruins on its surface, and strange energy readings now and then.

I suppose it could happen, but I'm really not too keen on the whole 'warp' aspect of 40K (or indeed, the necron aspect any more, hell, I only really check up on it to see if there's nifty new stuff to loot for NS roleplay). Tell you what, join the #nationstates_general IRC channel some time, and we'll talk.

OOC: Not to mention the unlimited number of ways to shield against EMP that could be equally useful...

Please excuse me while I go and gnaw on a carpet.

Gnaw on a carpet? Why? That's much less fun than gnawing on splintery boards...
