Tanthan ships have been spotted in a hyperactive manner. Running across solar systems and galaxies at high frequency. Something is not right in Tanthan. The normally peaceful nation has been in a state of chaos. Organized chaos at best. Ships have been reportedly been seen in not only bubble-space, but hypergates and using warp drives.
The range of ships is unusal and shows a diversion of technology that should not exist in a nation as the Empire. Ships have been ignoring every Galaxic Law and region boundrys known in existance. Often using gravitional pull of some planets for a boost when injured.
Many ships of Tanthan have been seen doing this. Using a planet's gravity as a slingshot is a very poor way to move around. This means Tanthan is breaking apart and fighting itself.
Several ships have been spotted across the Tanthan Star Systems of Edo and Lumas from long range detectors. Blasting away at each other with unknown sources of power, including conventional lasers.

Qu'lio has decreed that Tanthan forces are to protect the Empire at all costs and recapture 'rogue' units.
Felin has decreed that the Empire be split into Federation.

This action has caused a war which threatens not only Tanthan, but all systems caught in the crossfire. The Empress and the Minister are fighting each other and both are asking for outside support to defeat the other in a civil war. In an act of desperation they are calling upon support, the isolationism of the Empire will be broken down either way.
Felin is notoriously violent. Qu'lio is peaceful, but vengeful.
