OOC: I'll never have this problem, fortunately, since the region I belong to has an entire continent to itself. So I was able so start out with a 50nm territorial sea area, a 100nm continguous zone, and a 200nm EEZ, no questions asked. A lot of the naval traffic in my region is really just between the various members. Most of my imports/exports are from other members of my region. Quite handy in case anyone feels like embargoing me, really; I can just say, "well, I never really traded with you in the first place..."

OOC: I have no neighbors, and most resources can be found on the various islands that lay just off shore, I really don't need to trade except for military weapons. But people have declared war over less...

On another thought, one more post to 1000!!!!! YAY!

Kjata Major finds this change strange, but since your nation is alone and not exactly on alliance terms we can avoid it. Shipping will not be interferred much due to the lack of neighbors.

OOC: The way i see it is more security, most nations could plant a fleet just out side your waters and you could do nothing about it unless they decided to attack you, which by then is too late for any defensive naval battle, I made my waters bigger to allow me a strike capability outside the shelling range of my costal towns, so basically it's for protection.

Despite having done the same thing, we are feeling hypocritically-motivated enough to condemn you. We think that this is a blatent abuse of shipping, stuffed toys industry, furbies, blah, blah, yabber...
