VLS Koen seized by Unknown Terrorists at full sea

Gibraltar. Today at 0.07 hours Van Luxemburgian time, the VLS Koen, of the Royal Van Luxemburgian Cruising lines, has been seized by yet unknown terrorists. the Police and Government have given no comment yet. known is that the "Koen" was seized at 0.07 hours Van Luxemburgian time, coming from Van Luxemburgian Guyana Island. we suspect that this has been done by the Guyana Seperatist Movement (GSM) fighting for a Free Van Luxemburgian Guyana Island.

Van Luxemburgian International News (VLIN) Broadcast
"Goodmorning Ladies and Gentlemen, This is Philip Freriks with an extra edition of the VLIN. The Government of van Luxemburg has commented about the Hijacked Cruiseship. they have mentioned that The Van Luxemburgian Royal Navy will be intercepting the ship to escort it to the Port of Gibraltar, where the Police and Army have set up an emergency base. the Grand Duke, while In Mondoth for the Unveiling of the Next Generation Navy, has asked other Nations to send Counterterrorism operatives to liberate the ship, together with The TCT Counterterrorism operatives of van Luxemburg."

In three hours they would arrive at Van Luxemburg airspace.

"... earlier today. The Van Luxemburgian authorities are asking for outside help..." the TV droned on. Makr Valst was sitting in his office, watching CNN, one of the best intel sources in the world. He sat, thinking to himself, What a chance! the AXPs need some work. He then proceeded to fax that a 44 man team would be flown in on 1 GS-427, and behind them would come several helicopters, all still in testing, but all incredible.

Captain Miller of the destroyer Cobalt sat in his chair.

The destroyer was of the new Cobalt Class of ships, designed like the US DD(X) ship, only with bigger, more, and better guns. Not to mention the Marines it could carry had been increased.

All morning he'd been taking briefings about a situation where a cruise ship had been hijacked by terrorists.

The Imperium had been in a rather long war with Global Jihad after the Saharistan War, and after the invasion of Algeristan alot of people back in the Capital were afraid that GJ would split and help other terrorist groups in other causes, not just against the SWC.

Thus, the Captain had his orders.

"This is RMV Cobalt to Van Luxemburg. We are hereby offering assistance in any action to take this cruise liner back. Please give instructions."

Greetings,

I have heard the ill news and I have decided to take action against these cowardly terrorists. Wingarde will send two special forces teams to act accordingly. However, we will dispatch more units if the situation requires so. We will do everything possible to protect the civilians on the ship and eliminate the terrorists in question. You can count on us.

Yours faithfully,

The Head of police looked at the Maps of the area and the Floorplans of the "Koen" while he was talking. "perfect, You will work together with the TCT Espagna team, specialized in fighting in the Area." he laid down the Horn to prepare his team.

Three Hours Later

"This is Van Luxemburgian Aerospace Control to unidentified aircraft, please announce yourselves"

The VLS "Koen" A Few Days away from Gibraltar.

Jacques Legrand walked on the 3rd deck of the "Koen" while checking his AK-74 and keeping an eye on the hostages, almost 2,000 persons. theyw ere with 300 men, armed with mainly Russian weapons, they got from a small smuggling-route. they were lucky the van Luxemburgers didn't see it, because they would have locked down the complete Island to hunt for weapons. now they had this ship, A Ship which they could hold, for the independence of Van Luxemburgian Guyana Island.

"Our vessel will be invisable to their radar, so we'll hang back. Then at night we'll get closer and allow some of our snipers to go out on deck and use our less than lethal rounds to see if we can knock some people into the ocean.

Are you planning to let them continue on out to sea, or are you going to make a move on them while they're in the strait? If we may, we'll take point. We've got 4 helicopters on this vessel, we can land 12 Marines on that ship in no time, and we can lay down some decent coverage.

Do we know if the terrorists have any missiles or otherwise large ordnance with them?"

A sturdy, lumbering WT-19 Skymaster enters Van Luxemburgian airspace. The aircraft is loaded with elite special forces operatives from the Wingardian Navy. Maj. Fritz Brentsen was walking back and forth on the middle of the passengers hold. His men didn't mind his current attitude, he always got anxious prior to important missions. A few moments later, the co-pilot of the Skymaster reports the situation.

"Major, we've entered Van Luxemburgian airspace." The flight officer informed before getting back to the controls.

"Understood. Let the Van Luxemburgians know." Brentsen replied, staring out of the window. A nimble WF-27 Firebolt was steadily escorting the transport vessel. Another one surely was on the other side.

"Yes sir." The pilot switched on the comms and adjusted the frequency accordingly. "Van Luxemburgian Crisis Control, this is the WSF Charlie Flight, military aid from Wingarde. We have located the VLS Koen. Awaiting further instructions."

We have been escorting the ship for about a day now, and we haven't seen anybody yet on the decks. our plan is to escort the Liner into the Harbour of Gibraltar and block it off, so no-one could enter or leave the Harbour. also, our Intelligence thinks there are about 300 well-armed Terrorists aboard, armed with Russian weapons (e.g. AK-74, PKM, SA-7, RPG-7) and they have heavy equipment, possible 12.7mm MG's and 14.5mm MG's, AA and AT launchers are aboard, as far as we think. they could have reinforced the complete ship to make it a fortress, more or less.

We're not trying to take over the operation or anything, but we'd advice against bringing the ship into port. One, if the terrorists feel something is up, they could set off a big ass bomb, kill them all, and take out a good portion of your infratructure. Plus, do you know they don't have nukes? A dirty bomb wouldn't be nice here... Anyway, I've got a strike team of 12 men here ready to go on. We can put some tear gas on the ship too. Basically, it's your call, but we're going to ask questions about anything and everything just to get some fresh ideas on the table.

The problem is, that the terrorists have asked for this themselves, by the Communication channels of the "Koen". they have asked if they could lay in the middle of the harbour. laying her out to the opens sea would be very hard too, because she is only on one side protected by Land (OOC: read my factbook for that). Their isn't a Dirty bomb aboard, because our sattelites haven't seen a difference in Radiation, or Heavy chemical or Biological activity. we would advise against landing your troops on the ship while in transit to Gibraltar. there are large numbers (Approx. 300) terrorists aboard the ship, which could kill all the Hostages when they hear 12 men stumbling around the ship. it's better to do an assault in full strength.

Charlie Flight's Skymaster touched down gently on the designated strip at Gibraltar Airport, followed by its two Firebolt escorts. The Wingardian airplanes taxied to the hangars assigned to them. Soon after coming to a full stop, Van Luxemburgian mechanics arrived with maintenance equipment and began servicing the vehicles.

Major Brentsen walked down the ladder and onto the solid asphalt, followed by his men. "I want these birds on full alert and ready to fly in 20 minutes. Is that understood?" Fritz pseudo-ordered the Van Luxemburgian chief engineer, and then requested his radio.

"VLCC, WSF Charlie Flight has landed, please keep us posted about the situation. We'll be ready to depart whenever you need. Over." The officer reported over the radio.

The evening had came and gone, and now that it was dark the destroyer could move in closer to the cruise liner.

A total of 6 soldiers went out on deck.

With only one side facing the vessel, the soldiers didn't have many positions to take up that could be used for cover should someone find a way to not only find out they were there, but where they were, not to mention get some fire over to the deck of the vessel.

Major Brentsen ordered the operatives to form up in front of him, with the huge Skymaster in the background. He cleared his throat to hurry his men a bit. Once they were in place, he proceeded with the briefing.

"Alright, people, listen up! As you already know, the Van Luxemburgian luxury liner VLS Koen was hijacked by unknown terrorists earlier today." The Major passed around the ship's plans. "Familiarize yourselves with the design of the vessel. It'll be critical to carry out an efficient mission plan." As the soldiers reviewed the detailed blueprints of the Koen, Fritz began describing the course of action.

"Both teams will obviously paradrop from the Skymaster and onto the target. Alpha Team, commanded by me, will land on the prow and proceed to and secure the bridge. Expect heavy resistance by part of the terrorist elements. Meanwhile, Bravo Team, commanded by Lt. Rickenbacker, will land on the aft, and quickly make its way to the engine room and stop the ship cold on her tracks, but don't damage any equipment unless you absolutely have to." Brentsen took a deep breath while giving more time to the men to study the plans, and continued moments later.

"Remember that this is a joint operation with the Van Luxemburgian and other nations' forces, so pay special attention to avoid friendly fire. I'll do my best to ensure there's proper communication between all the allied elements in the operation. Last but not least, keep civilian casualties to a minimum. The officer finished his briefing and looked in the direction of the sea. After a few moments he glanced back at his soldiers.

"Alright, we'll be called at any moment now. Get to know the blueprints like the palm of your hand and gear up!" Fritz grinned as his men cheered, raising their G-36Es in the air. It was going to be a bloody battle, but the terrorists had to be stopped.

That was the only message sent to the Dietz vessels.

Cobalt was now falling back and away from the cruise liner as the sun came up, the snipers recording no contacts during the night shift.

Below deck the 12 person Sierra Force team checked over maps and general information.

"Sir, do we have a uniform gun for this mission?"

Sometimes Imperial Commanders liked to have everyone having the same weapon.

"No, take whatever you wish."

Half the men came out of the armory with P90's. 4 with AK104's from Leafanistan, and 3 with the ever popular CX-3 Rifle built domestically in McKagan.

[OOC: McKagan, I've come up with a slang system for our soldiers to call one another when they don't know individual names, sort of like how Americans called Brits "limeys" and the Brits called our boys "Yanks." Here's what I'm thinking: one of your soldiers would be "Mac," plural "Macs." One of mine would be "Hal," plural "Hals." Leafanistan would be one soldier="Leaf(y)," plural "Leafies." Sound good to you?]

"Sure, we've just got to wait til' this bastards stopped!" Miller said in reference to the cruise liner.

[OOC: I'm considered the same thing, and i'll accept that. If you noticed, during the Algeristani conflict/thing I called your government and/or military command "Big Hal" a few times.]

OOC: I think you should know my natural choice for this RP, you fought with them in Quiblechistan

IC:

David Macker picked up his usual morning paperwork, the corporate investments into outer space, land purchases, very stressful. The phone had rung, exactly at the time he wanted it to, he didn't feel like going through all the paperwork today.

"Sir, I have your son James on line 4, would you like me to patch him through?"

"Go ahead Lynda."

A few moments later David's son, James Macker was on the phone, "Hey umm, dad?"

"Yes James?"

"Yeah, I just recieved a fax from the Presidential Palace in New Hivez, you won't believe what it is!"

"Believe me James, after what happened in Quiblechistan and whats happening in outer space, I think nothing can suprise me this time..."

David was apathetic this morning, James only called whenever there was someone needing saving, or some other crap like that...

"Van Luxemberg has had one of their most prized cruise ships taken over by terrorists! Ya' know, 117 and 179 sure love fighting alongside VL troops."

"I'm sure they do, *sigh* is this why you called me James, to ask my permission on a subject you yourself already fully command, send Squad 49 in if you must, but bring them back alive, they're a highly valued part of the EBG and I don't want even one of them killed, do you hear me! Especially not 117 or 179!"

"Yes yes dad, don't get 179 killed, c'ya later!"

James hung up the phone now, and David felt as though he might throw up for the sheer stupidity James was showing these days.

Sqaud 49 barracks, downtown Golden Skies City

"And so he says to me, c'mon Kolimja! Watcha waitin' for? And then 110 here comes up behind im' and blows his goddamned brains out!" Said 117, best in the EBG.

Strangely enough, all 60 members of Squad 49 laughed at this before James came into view on the holopanel.

"Guys, I have another assignment for you!"

"Not again James, look we love our jobs and all, but we need a break from time to time like any other sqaud!"

"Your being shipped to Van Luxemberg..."

"Well, load guns, get your MOLIGNAR suits on and get in the dropships, if we load up now, we may just make it to Van Luxemberg airspace in 14 hours!"

"That's the spirit 179!"

He dissapeared from the holopanel, only to be replaced by Sqaud 49 loading their guns and getting their armor suits on, before loading themselves, and some vehicles into their dropships.

"Everyone ready back their?" Called Eureka 1, leader of the Eureka dropship sqaudron.

"Yes ma'am! Lets go already!"

The 5 dropships in Eureka sqaudron lifted off out of the hanger bay vertically, before engaging their main engines and flying off to the Van Luxemberg combat area."

The VLS "Koen"

well, they had finally made it. they were in the harbour of Gibraltar. they had closed the Fireproof doors of the ship, and they had took up positions against possible counterterrorism operatives. they had Boobytraps installed all over, and had checked the ships engines twice. their plan was to ram the Navy ships and get out of Gibraltar, to unleash a Rebel war at Van Luxemburgian Guyana Island. but, they could always start diplomacy with Van Luxemburg.
"Legrand Here, Bridge please"
"This is Bridge"
"I want to make a Phonecall, can we do that?"
"Ofcourse"
he could hear that the phoneline was being established, so he could talk to the Van Luxemburgians.
"Van Stenen?" the name was questioning, like he was expecting someone.
"it's me. I want that Van Luxemburgian Guyana island gets Independency, if it doesn't get it, we'll blow up this whole DAMNED ship, got that?"
"Who's me?" The voice was calm, the question not to hasty.
"Me is aboard the "Koen", or, you could say, what's left of it"
"We can't grant Van Luxemburgian Guyana Island independency, that's a task of the Grand Duke. we could ask him to come here, but that can take a while."
"And I don't want to wait. you've got two hours before we blow this up."
"sure, go ahead. we'll take cover."
The line was dead. no-one was on the other side.
"Shit!" Legrand couldn't hold it's Temper, when he throwed the Phone away.

VLCC, Gibraltar

"OK, that makes an extra task. take those bombs out, whatever the means to take 'em out" Van Stenen looked around the room, where all leaders were seated. "The Grand Duke will be cancelling it's trip to Mondoth and come here. it's actually his Ship. it has also been named after him. if you could set it free, you can count on a big reward."

"Vuhifellian Eureka 1, Go to Southwest and use Landing Strip 45. a short message has been left behind by The TCT Commander. The Deadline of getting into the ship is 2 Hours."

The "Koen" laying in the Harbour of Gibraltar by daylight.

The A400M stood on the Tarmac, silently. it would be transporting the Paratroopers for the "Koen". the Three Van Luxemburgian Para's already prepared their gear and stepped aboard. it was late in the evening, and they would start the operation soon. they had their JK1 Rifles ready, Special Rubber boots to make no noise on the ships decks, and rope Ladders to get the other operatives aboard.

A few kilometers further, the ZODIAC's were ready, The electrical outboards had been started and they could leave at any moment.

Under the "Koen" two divers checked the keel to make sure there were no Bombs to set off when it all started.
"Moby Dick to Killer Whale, I've got someting here."
"Killer Whale here, what is it?"
"it looks like Magnetical Mines, let's see"
The diver looked at the mine.
"Simple ones, I can pull the switch and they do nothing"
he pulled the switch and the Mine was loose from the Keel, ready to be deactivated.
"That was the only one, time to get out of here"
"roger"
The Divers quickly got out of the Dangerous zone and returned to their Ship, laying in the port of Gibraltar.

The Observer at the bridge of the "Koen" looked bored. above him was an Aircraft. nothing new, they were flying over all the time. he picked up his AK-47 and walked away. time for a cup of coffee. however, did he saw something moving there? Mwah, he was just Tired, his eyes were lying to him.

"Hallway portside clear, moving on to Cabins on portside" Van stenen shortly radioed to other operatives on the ship.

They enterred the inside of the ship. They crossed the stairs and were inside the cabins. They were enterring 5.001-5.007 area on the map.

Checking the halls they looked carefully for any guards.

"It appears clear. Clear the rooms."

"BASTARD! LET ME GO! LET ME GO! HELP!" yelled Leon.

Cinna was shocked and yelled back, "WHAT THE ****! You piece of shit take this!"

Then the sound of a gun discharging was heard throughout the ship.

"AHHHHH! *gurgle* B----baass--tarrr....." yelled Leon as he took the TV in the room and threw it to the floor.

Marcus smirked and let out a soft laugh, "You two are crazy!" he said as he looked down the hall, surely that would have gotten some attention.

Fired from a special gun with a pressurized air cartridge as ammo, the hooks were able to latch onto the railing of the top deck of the Koen, even from sea level. The SEALs attached the end of the line to their belts, and climbed their way up. Some minutes later, they had reached the top deck, approximately 50 meters aft of the McKagan team. "Van Stenen to VLS "Volterra", do you have thermal imaging of the ship?"
"We have, large concentration of heat at the 2nd Deck, Volterra out"
"Okay, we'll try to reach that"
Van Stenen wanted to run downwards, to the 2nd deck, but was hold-up by a completely metal door.
"Shit! Van Luxemburg to All, the ship has its fireproof doors closed, we need to get through them. we have one Plasmacutter with us, anybody else has one?"

EBG 99: Roger that commander, our dropships will engage optical stealth and land ASAP. [to Sqaud 49] Alright people, I just want to...say a few words before this operation, back in the Vuhifellian Embassy Siege, VL troops helped us, now we're returning the favor, I would like to remind you all of what we're fighting for, the EBG was founded on the principles of helping those in situations where they could not help themselves. Now, it is the time to help those on that cruise ship, just as VL helped our people in the embassy. Alright, that is all, move out

All of Sqaud 49: YES SIR!

EBG 99: Actually, we better send in a few people at a time, 100-117, 162, 179, and I will head into the battlezone first, on deck 5, 118-138, you take Eureka 3 up to deck 13, everyone else will be put on standby.

The two Korsa Class Dropships took into the air with their EBG soldiers, towards the cruise ship, with Eureka 1 unloading the best of the EBG onto deck 5, and Eureka 3 unloading more EBG personel onto deck 13, what could go wrong?

They hated sports, and they hated fitness, they had some training in Guyana, but they hated it. the Two friends were assigned to look after the 13th deck, as the only ones defending the most likely position to land, because of it's helicopter landing pad. th rest was at the 2nd deck, guarding the passengers, were they needed most men. there were only a few men at startegical position on other decks. Damnit!.

at that moment, the Earplugs of Van Stenen beeped shortly.
"Van Stenen?"
"the Grand Duke here, you may demolish as much of the ship as you want, as long as it doesn't sinks"
"But ofcourse Sir!" his confirmation was unhearable by the bang of the explosives
"I said that you didn't have to blow it up"
"Yes Sir, we were only blowing a door."
One of the operatives stormed forward. no guards? strange. at that moment, he fell over something.

118 had been placed in charge of the second assault team, Beirut, as Eureka 3 touched down on a helecopter pad on deck 13.

The cargo bay doors had opened and he saw two lone VL soldiers standing guard there.

EBG 118: Hey there, you two, I'm Lieutenant Colonel 118 of the Foxtechan EBG, do you two mind telling us where the action is, I'm dyin' to fire off my assault rifle

An explosion was heard on the deck, making everyone on Strike Team Ascent jump.

EBG 117: Jesus, what was that?!

EBG 99: Quiet!

EBG 117: Some guy cracked his skull open! Cool! I want to see!

EBG 99: GET OFF THE FREQUENCY 117! Look 110, it's only fitting if he is a VL soldier, to just dump him at sea.....

EBG 110: Ah god, do I have to touch it, I can smell through this helmet you know, and it isn't easy getting blood off the armor!

EBG 99: Fine, leave him, 117 can use his corpse as target practice later, I'm leaving this frequency now, okay, I need to check this room

99 had switched on his infrared sensors, then his X-Ray, nothing appeared within the room.

EBG 99: Alright, c'mon, let's secure this deck before someone chucks a grenade into the room, 162, stand guard at this door, everyone else, follow me to the aft of the ship.

"Okay boys, couple of assholes are hijacking a Van Luxemburgian ship. Any volunteers?" Everybody put up their hands.

Colonel Umar sighed. This was always the problem, everybody wanted to volunteer for any mission, and the ones that did not get to go became very upset and miserable.

*briefing*

"So we enter from here by helo instertion.....clear out these entire 2 decks. Speed is the key, all terrorists must be killed." instructed the Colonel.

"We're doing a simple hostage rescue mission boys, so standard CQB gear. Second Chance vests, mustard BDUs. No subs, only rifles as the enemy may be equipped with body armour. There should be quick killing, so fast target acqusition must be there, I want all rifles to be equipped with Trijicons. No door-breaching charges, only lockpicks, so as not to alert the enemy."

This was accompanied by loud jeering. SPECTRE boys liked using door-breaching charges, they were their favourite toys. The Colonel waited for everybody to be quiet.

"May God bless you. Give 'em hell, boys."

The men filled the armoury, selecting their weapon of choice. The men seemed like kids in a toy store. Some picked the M-16, but most selected the Alamo rifle, for its accuracy and compactness.

*later*

The Blackhawk was approcahing the ship. 002, we have the objective in sight. Awaiting deployment, over."

Marcus eyes were bloodshot red, he saw the bullets incoming, but their skill was too great! The corridor was small and he couldn't get far, so he thrusted his body into the nearest door and burst in through the nearest room. The room was 5.125, still considerably far from the gun emplacement.

"BASTARD!" Marcus yelled and he felt his shoulder feel warm. It was blood. He had been hit just outside of his body armor, which would have been able to take the shot from this range.

Marcus held his arm and ripped part of his uniform of to wrap around his wound. The bullet was stuck inside of his arm, so he had to reach in and grab it, then slowly pull it out.

He felt so much pain that he screamed so loud it echoed down the halls, as if the ship was a cave. His cries of pain soon fell silent as he bit down on his lip to silence it. Leaving deep marks and drawing some blood.

Marcus wasn't thinking properly because of the effects of the Bloody Eye. His movements were precise, but now he would be unable to fight properly.

Leon sighed, "We don't have any of the weapons they do. How can we get close enough to use grenades or actually strike it?"

Juhn quietly walked against the left side of the wall onto the right side of the ship. Infront of him was 5.094 and 5.096. He peeked around the corners to spot any enemy movements. The plan had been changed considerably because of the coordination with the allied times also aiding the Van Luxemburgian military. The WT-19 Skymaster soared above the Koen, above the night clouds. Meanwhile, the special operatives inside the transport aircraft were getting ready for the jump. Major Brentsen addressed his men once they were ready.

"Alright, people, listen up! Keep engagements to a minimum, we don't need any hostage casualties. Don't forget your silencers." Fritz stated loudly and waved at the loadmaster to lower the aircraft's loading ramp to allow the paradrop.

The large metal ramp whirred as it lowered to paradrop level, cold wind flooded the inner hold as the Skymaster slowed down reducing engine power and applying the flaps. Alpha and Bravo, 12 men each, formed a line each before the ramp. A few seconds passed, and the green light flashed to life, and the soldiers jumped off one by one.

The drop itself was quite uneventful. Each team kept in formation even in the air, as they approached their target decks. The black rectangled parachutes camouflaged against the dark background of the night, and slowly came to their indicated destinations. Alpha Team softly landed by the fairways of Deck 12, whereas Bravo Team's men touched down on Deck 8's pool terrace. Surprisingly, there were no hostiles in sight. It seemed they were all entrenched inside the superstructure.

Alpha cautiously moved prow-wise, towards the rooms before the bridge. The deserted deck gave Brentsen goosebumps; the terrorists could pop up at any moment. Tension was in the air as the men deployed by the first four rooms, 12056, 12054, 12079 and 12081 (3 men by each door). Once everyone was ready, the Major gave the order to storm each room simultaneously.

Meanwhile, Bravo's men mobilized on the pool terrace of Deck 8. One of the restaurants, Todd English, was but a few meters away. The operatives positioned themselves on both of its entrances, and then proceeded to check whether there were people in there or not, using heartbeat sensors. It was too dangerous to barge into a large room without knowing who could fire back at the WSF team.

A second later the three of them ran out into the hall and fired skillfully at the guard and the gun.

Broshi wasn't likely to hit it.
Leon was the least likely to hit anything with his horrible aim.
Cinna was the best shot in the squad, he was a built like a tank and knew how to shoot.

Though they emptied the entire clips of the M-16's and then hid on the opposite side of the wall. Then they waited and reloaded another clip in. Letting the empty clips fall to the floor.

Bravo Team successfully neutralized the terrorists, but the civilians dashed towards the operatives with mixed reactions.

"We're not the terrorists, people, we are part of the Wingardian Special Forces. Please be quiet!" Lt. Rickenbacker tried to talk the mob into understanding while his men pushed them back, trying not to hurt them in the process.

Meanwhile, Alpha regrouped into two smaller, 6-men squads and proceeded carefully towards the ship's bridge, one squad through each corridor. VLCC reported opposition on Deck 12 was minimal, but nothing's completely certain.

OOC: Okay, now it's time to make it official. the next RP I will be hosting will be the continue of this thread. the Terroristleader, Jacques Legrand has escaped from the "Koen" and is In Van Luxemburg. he will not even think of going back to Van Luxemburgian Guyana island, because the routes are well-checked and they're looking for him. however, the VLIA (Van Luxemburg Intelligence Agency) will be following him silently. other foreign intelligence will be "Shadowing" him too, until we can catch him ( or: until the RP gets boring). I will be RPíng the actions of VLIA and Van Luxemburgian government, but I need someone who will RP the terrorist leader. we will travel through the whole of Van Luxemburg, which is actually an exact copy of Europe, to follow him. I am aiming to let it look like something Colin Forbes has written. read my factbook for information about van Luxemburg.

"VLCC, this is WSF Alpha Team, we've secured the bridge and freed the crewmen restrained there. Bravo Team is currently clearing Deck 8. What's the situation of the other teams?" Fritz stated and inquired through the channel as the bridge crew got to their stations.

Unloading of other operatives

The ladders had been deployed and one boat after the other arrived to drop off their operatives. they climbed the ladder while being shouted at by the Craft's crew, who wanted to get out as fast as possible.

"VLCC to Kjata Major, your deck is clear, please move on to another deck. Van Luxemburgian operatives have cleared out Deck 4 and are moving on to Deck 3. could you please move-on to Deck 6? expect minimal resistance. we expect that the main forces will be located on Deck 2. VLCC out."
(OOC: I'll be RPíng the escape of Legrand too)

Deck 2

"I have to get to the bathroom." Legrand mentioned to the second in charge.
"No prob, I'll command the rest"
Legrand walked seemingly calm to the bathrooms, but when he got there, he became panicked. I have to get out of here! soon! They'll arrest me, or shoot me if I surrender
he saw a window. not a porthole, but a window. he could look through it, because the window was opened. he stood on one of the sinks to get through it, when he was called up.
"Sir, we've got no contact left with level 3, the operatives might have reached that level"
"Roger, take up defensive positions around the hostages."
Legrand jumped on the sink again and jumped through the window. it didn't look high, but it was. he came down about 4 meters lower. the water was cold, unusually cold for the time of the year, mid-summer. a Zodiac cam closer to him, which could mean he was about to be discovered. he dived underwater, and quickly moved on to come ashore.

The Crew had seen it. someone had jumped from a window on deck 2 and dived when he saw the Zodiac.
"Zodiac 45 to VLCC, we have somebody jumping through a window, he is swimming to the shore now."
"roger, we'll keep an eye on him"

Legrand came ashore at the Cruiseliner pier, Ironiccally enough. he ran towards a vehicle parked there. it was an old Seat Toledo, but it fullfilled the task he needed, escaping. he quickly broke the window. no alarm. he opened the car from the inside and got in. no keys he had done this earlier. shortwiring was no problem, and the car started. Legrand had already put his foot on the pedals, clutched and put the car in 1st gear. he could drive off now. he granted the "Koen" a short look, and drove away, very calm and slowly.

"All clear down here, sir." Rickenbacker reported to the Major from Deck 8. That part of the ship was now clear from the terrorist hijackers.

"Roger that, lieutenant. I'll contact VLCC for further orders." Brentsen acknowledged and switched frequencies to that of the Van Luxemburgian Crisis Control. "VLCC, this is Major Brentsen. Where do you need us now?"

"VLCC here, Wingarde troops, please move down one Deck, Deck 7. Kjata Major will probably take deck 6, VLCC out."

Meanwhile, the Van Luxemburgian operatives had reached the 3rd deck, one deck above the main terrorist force. they could storm through, after the opening of the firedoors. they took out one guard, standing at the 3rd deck quietly, smoking his Cigarette. they quickly cleared two restaurants by bashing the double doors. nobody. "where are those Tangos? haven't seen any of them"
"we probably took out about 50, so there's 250 left on other decks, probably deck 2"
"that's gonna be a Battlefield then"
Deck 3 was a quickie, because there were not many rooms, only open restaurants and some shops. about ten other Terrorists were engaged in shops and enclosed restaurants. some shortly fired a burst, but were took out fairly quickly.
"This is VLCC to Countertango1, status?"
"One heavily wounded, Rest's ready. we're moving back up, to aid Kjata at Deck 6, we'll leave Deck 2, we'll attack it in full force."

The Van Luxemburgian Operatives stormed the Staircase from 4th to 5th deck, when they heard the Kjatan Forces needed help. he had left a small detachement behind at the 3rd deck, aswell as on the 4th and 5th.
he arrived shortly after at the staircase where the Kjatans were.
"I thought you might need some help."

The 6th deck was crawling with terrorists. about 100 had took positions, after they had fled from their own decks. they had blocked the staircases with Chairs and put up MG emplacements. they had took rooms and set up MGs behind the doors, so they could open fire when the doors were opened. some even had some old russian grenades, and prepared to throw them.

The WSF teams successfully regrouped on Deck 8, and proceeded down to Deck 7. The 24-men unit carefully treaded down the stairs, only to be welcomed by blazing AKs from both sides. One operative's gunned down by the terrorist's fire, and rolls down the steps and onto the carpet while his teammates quickly take cover.

"Man down, take cover!" Brentsen shouts out as the poor corporal is pierced several times. Anger grows inside of his as he witnesses the first casualty. It was invariably going to happen sooner or later. He hastily reached for his flashbang grenade on his belt. "Ready flashbangs and use them against the opposition!" Fritz barked out and, seconds later, two of them rolled towards the sides of the stairs and the pockets of terrorists.

"Move, move, move!" The major shouted scarce moments after the flashbangs detonated in front of the enemies.

"General Minerva, can I please get a evac?" Marcus asked into the radio.

"Sure thing, you've done your job." she replied over the radio.

Marcus smiled and looked up at Juhn. Juhn nodded and picked Marcus up and put him on his back, like a large backpack.

"Thanks buddy....arhh, damn shoulder." grunted Marcus. He was still bleeding pretty badly.

"Juhn not worried, Marcus not worried, all fine." he said in a deep voice.

Marcus picked up the radio again and talked into it softer, "We need a G-S-T-R-S here. It's impossible to get us out without it. We're trapped most likely. These guys are ex-military at least."
----

General Minerva sighed and nodded, "Okay, I'll clear it with VL. We're going to move to you. I'll be their to personally care for your wounds."

Marcus nearly fell off Juhn's back in surprise, he went completely red. "General Minerva, I-I-I-I'm honored!"

On the otherside of the radio General Minerva let out a soft girlish laugh. It kinda surprised the rest of the troops. Making them look over at her with a little suspicious glare about what was going to happen. A sharp glare from her eyes paralyzed them all in fear, she was no lady to them; she was the dragon.

"My dear Marcus, you know you should never think things like that about your superiors. Though I am glad my troops are all so loyal, we'll celebrate after this operation is complete."

All of the Kjatan troops loud out a loud cheer and some fired their guns into the air. This was a rare occurence, the General was going to have a celebration for the completion of what was essentially a training mission!

A few minutes later, the General having changed frequencies contacted VL with a proposition.

She sternly said, "What kind of damage is acceptable for the ship? I can have a gunship here in two hours that will clear out an entire deck for you or we can go to plan B, and send in the Dragonflies. These terrorists will shit themselves when they see the helicopters flying through the ship."

The reply arrived at the government palace in Cjevaros, and immediatly the insertion code, DH530L, was relayed to van Heugen, who accordingly boarded the Dolorous class MkIII insertion helicopter along with the 17th ranger corps. The fully armoured and amed rangers gave no indication of anxiety or anticipation as they waited in the agilehelicopter, only the resolute, cold assuration of the elite. Van Heugen was satisfied with such a response, if not overtly shocked. The 17th were renowned for their resolute, calculating demeanour, and the veteran commisaar had fought alongside captain Borgetti enough to appreciate the operational efficiency this facilitated.

As the hijacked ship came into view in the electronic cockpit moniter, the pilot immediatly initiated the silencersupon the helicopters engines, and alerted both the armaments officer and van Heugen to the proximity of the ship. On the beaches the soldiers set up the equipment and began to perform checks on the helicopters to see if they could work in the environment, sure enough this would take upwards of twenty minutes before they would fly. The commandos barely avoided the blazes, but three operatives, were wounded in the process of taking cover in the unoccupied rooms, and were successfully dragged away from the torrent of death. The enemy machine-guns kept spitting ammo viciously even when their targets were effectively out of their line of fire.

Major Brentsen instructed the team to hold their position behind cover while the terrorists unloaded every single round. However, once they had ran out of ammo, and taking advantage of the MGs' long reload time, Fritz and his men vigorously charged at the enemy positions, pointed out by heartbeat scans made while behind cover, accurately opening fire at every hostile in sight...

"Charge them! Take them all out!"

OOC: Whoa, it seems you go nuts when I'm asleep! :p Anyway, remember I have two fighters circling around in the air, above the Koen. They're equipped with suitable armament to do whatever VLCC wants with the ship.

The MG's were empty at deck 7. no ammo was left, no Kalashnikovs were left.
"Damnit! All surrender!" as one long line the Terrorists surrendered, without putting up a fight. they were counting 8 men...

Deck 2

"We're being attacked!" one of the bombs fell at a Terrorist Guard post, instantly killing 8 men. while the rest of the Terrorists fled to the Mayfair shops, a place which the Helicopters couldn't reach. some fired back at the helicopters, but were quickly took out by the Helis. The Van Luxemburgian Opertaives quickly finsihed the job with tossing a few grenades into the Mayfair shops. "Van Stenen to VLCC, deck 2 clear, Decks 6, 7 and 11 left to clear. decks 9 and 10 clear, following Thermal scanners."

"Oh man, this sucks. They ran away!" cried a pilot.

"Shut-up! They won't get far." yelled the other.

"Head here, the grand lobby we can come right up infront of the stores and speed in. They won't have a chance. The whole place is open, nothing to burst through." said the lead pilot!
-----------------

'vrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEE' the helicopters went as they ascended above the grand lobby to the 3rd deck. Right infront of the store entrances.

The helicopters were closing in. The team of pilots were very capable and played this like a first-person shooter, carefully hunting down a wounded enemy.

Success! Fortunately, the terrorists surrendered without showing further resistance... After leaving the area pretty much like swiss cheese, that is. The Wingardian operatives organized the prisoners in a tidy line when the Major pulled out his radio and tried to contact VLCC and report the situation.

"VLCC, this is the WSF team. We've successfully neutralized the opposition on Deck 7. Requesting further or--" Brentsen cut off his report as the ship shook a bit. After a moment, he resumed the communication. "VLCC, what the hell was that? Are you going to sink the ship?"

"I'm hit! My camera is damaged! Ahh! I can't control it well! I can't go right!" cried the fifth pilot.

"Let's serve up a little rapid fire action!" said the 7th.
-----------------

One of the helicopters went down from being hit on the back and the camera was damaged, it let out a stream of smoke and spun out of control then fell down below and crashed on the floor.

The other, marked number #7 let out a volley of 8 grenades targeting a mass of terrorists, effectively using up his grenades. It quickly spun around and started unloading its Metal storm guns at the others until it ran out then descended out of the line of fire.

The others hovered and made little pathes, never staying in the same spot to get hit easily. Only 8 remained.

OOC: Ya. You got one of them destroyed, the other went Rambo and lost ammo, then it has to return. It will be back in 20 minutes. Though it will be reloaded without Metal Storm weapons. Try a gatling gun! (Note this drains power and will be the death of it. Number 7 is a psycho.)

All of a sudden, the missing terrorist kicked the door of a room open and released a deadly hail of 7.62mm rounds in the general direction of the team and the row of prisoners.

"Hostile!" The lieutenant, the only one aware of the threat at the time, shouted out frantically as he triggered his G-36E aimed at the terrorist and moved to shield the Major from the attack while his teammates were barely starting to realize the underhanded, cowardly action by part of the survivor.

"Heh, 10? You won't get much more out of them unless you triple the battery amount and reduce the armor on them. They are perfect for what we have, but these things aren't exactly able to be upgraded." said the lead pilot as he aimed the #1 closer to the entrance of the east store opening. "If you want we're working on a model that is a 2nd generation helicopter with a main gun and is stealthed, the model has a wingspan of three feet and a body that is three feet long. It's like the American Commanche. Price: $5,000,000 a pop. It's still in testing, but its more suitable then these toys."

The injured #5 regained some control and was hovering several inches off the ground, it was unable of fighting. The pilot controlling it was grumbling in anger, "Little bastards, I HATE THEM! #4 give me yours."

"Hell no, you got shot, your dead. Have #7 pull you out if your gonna whine." he replied, practically laughing.

Pilot #5 looked down and smiled at the the guy who was also grumbling. "Yo....Geo, snag the base and pull my copter out."

The raven-haired pilot looked back and yelled in anger. "WHAT! I'll drain my battery and probably crash into the sea! Your too heavy."

"Just do it this once...."

"NOOOO!"

"Come on..."

"You little bratty mo---" he started, but was drowned out by Kiki.

"GET HIM OUT GEO! THAT'S AN ORDER" yelled Kiki, the lead pilot.

The raven haired Geo, growled and grabbed the injured #5 helicopter and headed down the hall. The engine was taking a beating from this, and the battery was draining very rapidly. It wouldn't sustain five minutes more, carrying this much weight.

Most of Assault Team Ascent had decided to get medical help on the mainland, to remove the MOLIGNAR goo from their hair before it hardened and turned into MOLIGNAR Armor, 117 just decided it was best to take a swim, put on a new suit of armor, and go back into the ship to kill the terrorists who destroyed his favorite suit.

EBG 99: Bon' Voyage you two!

As Eureka 1 ascended into the air then accelerated towards the mainland, 117 and 179 were the only ones from Assault Team Ascent who were left to carry on the fight.

The Van Luxemburgian operatives throwed in another volley of their grenades, which exploded killing most of the terrorists but a small part. when the Operative stormed in, one of the Terrorists killed an opertive with his Kalashnikov. Van Stenen reacted with firing his FN FiveseveN, license built by VDZ & VL Weapons. He hit the Terrorist in the head, and fired another shot to make sure that he had killed him. "Van Luxemburgian operatives here, Deck 2 clear, we've liberated probably the last hostages, clearing decks 6 and 11 is main objective, 9 and 10 must be checked however."

"Jacques Legrand is missing, we're surrendering ourselves"
"NO, Never! we just aren't surrendering."
"Who's with me guys?" the second in charge looked around the hallway and doors.
"We are!" 75% of the Terrorists shouted that they were with him.
the other 25 % looked at how they were walking down.
"they aren't leaving! OPEN FIRE!"
two persons opened fire, the commander of the chaos and an MG Gunner.
they had mowed down half of them, when they were silenced by two shots of their friends.

The underhanded attacker was quickly neutralized by Rickenbacker's hail of bullets. The terrorist's aim wasn't very good and the shots spreaded all over the place, but the weapon's sheer firepower caused horrible damage. Most of the team had lunged behind cover after the lieutenant cried out the threat. Karl Rickenback laid on the floor, dying, pierced by many of the MG rounds fired by the last enemy.

"Karl! MEDIC!" Major Brentsen rushed to Rickebacker's position and kneeled beside him. His son in law's body was practically in shambles, blood was all over the floor, but he was still (barely) conscious. "Karl, don't die on me now!" The team's medic quickly arrived to the wounded man. He tried to mend the bullet impacts as best as he could, but the damage was too serious to be cured...

"I... I'm sorry, Fritz. Take c... Take care of Dreidre for m--" Karl tried to speak his last requests, but the wounds were overtaking him.

"We're losing him, Major!" The medic shouted as he desperately tried to revive his fallen comrade. It was no use, he had lost far too much blood. Fritz stared at him as he passed away. He felt horribly helpless.

He looked up, at another special forces operative. "Leonhardt, get those prisoners out of my fucking sight before I throw my reason out of the window! NOW!" The major shouted, glared at the terrorist prisoners and then forced his gaze out of the way, and back at Rickenbacker's body.

Having successfully eliminated the terrorist threat, the Wingardian operatives had returned to the set extraction point, where they'd be picked up by Van Luxemburgian boats, which would take them back to Gibraltar Airport. The prisoners boarded a separate boat, which parted elsewhere. Major Brentsen was one of the last to board the ship, after helping carry Rickenbacker's body onto one of the vessels.

Some time later...

The boats safely arrived to port, and unloaded the Wingardian special forces soldiers, who were taken by truck to the Gibraltar Airport. The Skymaster and the Firebolts had landed earlier, upon the conclusion of the counter-terrorist operation. The aircraft were prepper to take off whenever Brentsen gave the order. Before finally returning to Wingarde, the commanding officer of the team rounded up his men for the debriefing.

"Mission accomplished. The terrorists were mostly eliminated and a few of them surrendered. The VLS Koen herself is fairly intact, except for some light damage caused by allied helicopters and terrorist weapons. As for the passengers and crew, I've received notice that casualties were minimal in that area." Fritz took a deep breath before proceeding to describe the team's casualties. "In the process of this operation we lost two men: Corporal Kelbruck and Lieutenant Rickenbacker. Proper funeral dates and arrangements, along with possible condecorations, will be arranged when we return home. Four men got wounded, but it's nothing serious. They'll be given proper medical care back in Wingarde, too." The officer looked over at his men confidently. They had performed admirably, but casualties are always there in war.

"You did an excellent job, guys. Well done. Get ready to board the Skymaster at any moment now. Dismissed." The major produced a faint smile and began the preparations to depart home, sweet home.

How about I have General Lina attend a meeting with VL's leaders and get all lovely, then she learns that the terrorist cell was never fully removed. She gets kidnapped by a government leader who actually is providing cover for the terrorist cell and funding because of deep emotional problems that stem from the government.

His 'divine' plan is to capture General Lina and play VL as behind it. This means the other Generals of Kjata Major will turn on VL instantly. Though Minerva is a step ahead of all of them, and sends a female spy to VL in advance to find the mole and leader who planned the attack.

Now having been decieved VL naturally cover it up, and deny that the government had any part of it. Then send a spy of their own to Kjata Major to get closer to the Generals, to become the eyes and ears. With the target of General Minerva, Hein, Muramasa, Masamune, Raijin, Enyo and Commanders Nike and Victoria.

General Minerva is the only one that is too cunning and smart to fall for it and plays the spies, sending mixed messages to the government with a secret message contained for her own spy to pick up.

Eventually the spies are caught in both nations. This makes tensions very harsh, the terrorists simple plan is working! As a result they plan an attack on Kjata Major, to destroy the Temple of Kjata. This will spark more then just a war, it could cause a holocaust.

Though General Lina isn't as innocent as she seems and though kidnapped, her part in decieving the terrorists makes her their lead tactical planner. General Lina performs attacks on both nations.

Only after the attacks do the other Generals get wise and relay the message to VL. General Lina the captured General is known for being too soft and overly showy.

VL notices that attacks are having a pattern. General Minerva confirms it and notices the attacks are based on city location and starting name and sees a pattern.

The number of the attacks and location on the side is actually code! General Lina gives away the position of the enemy base through the attacks and VL and Kjata Major team up for a mock battle.

The battle is broadcast over the world, yet the trap is laid. General Lina having been tricking the terrorists leads them on an assault. General Minerva tells how to take out Lina's forces with minimal problems.

Lina's failure marks her demise. The terrorists get wise, so the fleet plays into their false sense of security as Lina desperately communicates to the forces to becareful of a nuclear weapon that is going to launch....

hmmm, new version of mine, I also like the travel through both countries, so I put that in. my story is again based on Legrand, but now includes Kjata Major, for it's retaliation.

Legrand has escaped from the "koen", we all know that. he has been followed by several VLIA agents, but they've vanished since some time. a team, of jointly Kjata Major and VL will be investigating the case nd looking after Legrand for a while. then, one of the Spies disappears and seems kidnapped by the GLM (Guyana Liberation movement, or the terrorists). the other Spies now start a race against the clock to save and the lost spy, and forecome an retaliation from Legrand to both Kjata and VL, which could unleash war between the both, a very useful thing for the GLM, which could revolt and just take Guyana while VL is at war. ofcourse there are the usual love-hate thingies in the team, and maybe the kidnapped spy develops an "Stockholm-syndrom" for legrand.

Wha!? You want a sense of complexity and depth! Having someone paying and supporting the terrorists from INSIDE the government covers a perfect backstory on how they came to be! It exposes the complexities of the individual with powerful motives instead of the "evil because I am evil" crap that American books spoon-feed us the basics of 'evil'.

Its best to have a situation then a larger situation the covers the origin and solution to the problem and it can still be about Legrand, or a larger network that he is part of!

(OOC: just a sidenote. I found that it's very hard to do several sides of the story. in your story I would have to do three stories through eachother. it's not that I don't like your story, in fact, i like it very much, but I just don't like the idea of having to RP three sides. and, I just made a rough sketch. so, who would have kidnapped the spy?, who's the mastermind behind the GLM, certainly not Legrand, a small person like him couldn't lead a movement, so it has to be from someone above? these are the questions I ask in my story, and they can lead to some surprises. I mentioned earlier, I want it to be like a Colin Forbes book, have you ever read them? they are very complex too.

Man and this is one of my idiot ideas I pulled out of the air in ten minutes of writing.

You can do all VL stuff, I do Kjata stuff.

I can play the terrorist mastermind. You can play Legrand and his forces.
--------
Face it this is NOTHING compared to the Kjata Major story. Mods would delete me for posting such material. Its best to keep it at the formed level and never go back into what is was originally. Upper Xen said that it was extremely dark, like Chaos Legion, except....weirder and darker.

To get alot of the backlines, story and characters, you have to really look at who the characters are and how they act. When you first thought Minerva, did you think she was just another General with higher rank? The name Minerva is actually how she is at her core and what she does. Wisdom, war, and power.

Kjata Major has some very very weird technology that I purposefully hid off NS. It doesn't go well, and I was accused of writing 'smut' for having Kjata shown as a dark god. She's EVIL EVIL EVIL! Among the types of prayers and celebrations are glyphs and pentagrams. Drawing glyphs in your own blood is one of the most powerful symbols in Kjata Major, the priests do this and are marked up from this. Though they parade around to learn the will of Kjata. Though they try and try, only two people can communicate with her. Ryo and Toji.

From this we have the urban conflict....making war seem like nothing in comparison. Then the ashes of the burning cities and bleeding and screaming of Tokyo as it was destroyed in the fire of its own weapons. The old leaders were murdered in large numbers, bombs took out skyscrapers and bridges, sendign thousands to their deaths. A raging inferno started in northern japan consumed an entire city and burned it to the ground. Military personnel were slaughtered and tortured. Millions converted to the Kjatan religion and all of Japan was engulfed in the fiery hell of its populace with revenge on their mind. Millions upon millions would perish in the cities and weapons of nuclear warfare that was used on them. The world was shocked and it was too late to react. Japan was lost.

The 'Angels of Kjata' sect burned entire cities to the ground on live television and showed the horrors of the nation. Then the two sides from Kjata were seperated and fought a massive battle and war. They were destroyed and Kjata Major was formed on the destruction of the two sides.

THAT is a summary of what Kjata was founded on. The original story of the MT technology and the ideas for truer weapons and power and religious practices are so taboo on NS that no one will understand their pure meaning and would want to fight against Kjata Major for the true horror of what it can do when she awakens!
-------
Some of the basic chapters of it were consumed with drugs, and pain and suicide. Religious practices that bordered on insanity and complete madness. Though everything fit. Kjata became a God through the power of man's own suffering! She is not only their God, but they helped create her. The problems and pain and rejection exploded as a movement to right the wrongs of society and the most free sexual expression of the world and all the repressed problems with FIRE. Everything was a symbol of man's pure power and lack of understanding at who we are as a whole. THAT is the true power and complexity I've done.

Meh, I'll RP Sqaud 49 (again), this time with several budget cuts, as well as the New Hivez Federal Intelligence Agency.

EDIT: Not the FIA as a whole, but just one sort of "Solid Snake" type of guy.

Hahaha! Summaries don't give really much info. If I said some of the things that were 'detailed' you'd think Ozzy was father, wait....he's nothing compared to the black fire that is in my heart.

Let me think for a moment and I'll find spots for you. Four way RPs are very complex and hard to run effectively at an even pace.

I'm working on a small wiki page for the conflict, here's what it looks like so far, nothing special. I hope I didn't leave anyone out. If you have a wiki page, it's linked to your homepage to.

OOC: hmm, maybe I'll include Telescope, an Van Luxemburgian Private organisation with Ex-SAS units, ex-GIGN, Ex-GSG-9, Ex-CIA and SEALS, you know it. they are specialists in Counter-terrorism, and silently following people. the names are from an Colin Forbes book ("The Stockholm Complot") and I have based the Idea on that. and Kjata, if you need information about my Nation, please visit my Factbook or ask me.

Gee, with all those elites I don't expect the terrorists to have much of a chance.

In a completely unrelated matter,

Stockholm Complot, gotta check that out, any good?

I have it laying right here, I own it... Great book if you ask me, it's called "the Stockholm syndicate" in the UK, by the way. I took this from the website of Colin Forbes:

'I'm going to smash these people into the ground if it takes me the rest of my life.'

Jules Beaurain was once the chief of Brussels' crack anti-terrorist squad. Now he's the commander of Telescope. Unofficial, unauthorised and utterly effective, it's the toughest strike force in the world.

But now Telescope is confronted by its most deadly enemy so far - The Syndicate. Using blackmail, bribery and blind terror, it is close to controlling the West's economy.

Helped by contacts in the twilight world of security and intelligence, Beaurain aims to locate and eliminate his enemy's mysterious leaders. But The Syndicate, preparing a vicious counter-attack, radios the command 'Zenith' to all agents.

A command which means - 'Kill Beaurain' ...

Seems like a good read until the XBox 360 comes out. Maybe I'll buy it after I finish the Icarus Agenda.

Of course I am. None of the latest messages in this thread actually required my input, so I just observed (I'm suscribed to this topic). Anyway, Kjata, you said you were still figuring out how would you include me in the whole incident. Please be gentle, since I'm still a small nation (18 million inhabitants at the moment. :)

I don't know, you're the one making the whole background story. What role can my nation fulfill? I was going to send a couple of agents, but then you came up with the whole large international incident, so maybe I'll have to send more elements.
