The TSF-200 is the second in a series of gunships, designed for heavy wear, and long campaigns. Essentially a fighter-frigate hybrid, the ship is approximately five times as large as a fighter, and twelve times smaller than a frigate.
It has a single pair of engines, and is not very maneuverable, but has twice the amount of armour as the TSF-100, and also has a lighter alloy. The 27 centimetres of armour on the ship protect it well, and the three, spaced out shield generators (Upgraded from two), provide shielding for the bridge, guns, and engines.
It has a pair of linked pulse cannons on a turret, which is rotatable 360 degrees. The turret has its own personal generator, and has both a manual controller, and an automated system.
Also on the ship are two large dark-energy cannons, both with a 90 degree up/down control, used primarily to combat large ships.
The gunship is designed for maximum comfort in long campaigns, and has a lounge, a bar, two armories, and induvidual cabins. It also has seven seperate life-support systems, as heavy damage in a battle often damages life-support systems, and losing police simply to stem the rising tide of crime is inefficient.
This gunship is being mass-produced for police to take a firmer grip on crime in the outlying systems, as it is suited to both a long chase, and battles against both fighters and freighters, the two main classes of pirate craft.
Production Price: $1650 000 (R&D going into price reduction)
Sell Price: $4225 000 (Export, only sold directly to other governments)
