“Today is a day where the Union stands up to chaos and disorder in the cosmos! Death destruction, tyranny and oppression will no longer hold sway! As of today at 1600 hours GFT, we, the Council of the United Federation of Planets, have passed this document which will set the ground for us to help fledgling nations within our sectors of space to grow and prosper peacefully. We will not allow said nations to be mowed down by imperialist warmongering races that seek nothing but glory and expansion.

We, the Council of the United Federation of Planets do hereby resolve,

Section 1: All hostile, imperialistic, and malignant nations shall not be allowed in Alpha or Beta sectors in order to safeguard the nations of those sectors. Any attempts at building hostile outposts or moving war fleets in these sectors will result in an act of removal by the Federation. The United Federation of Planets will not actively engage unless provoked by fleets outside the sphere of this act; the whole hearted discretion to enforce this act is given to Starfleet.

Section 2: Nations with hostile intent shall not be allowed to parade forces within the span of this protected area. However, if they demonstrate peaceful intentions to trade, share knowledge, or assist nations in need they will be allowed under this article within with scope of this jurisdiction. Bases built with hostile intent or fleet yards established in these sectors shall not be permitted to be active within these sectors protected by the Federation. However, all peaceful trade and research facilities shall be permitted to be in service within sectors covered by this article

Section 3: All nations’ holdings in the Sol system and with already established bases in Sol system are exempt from this article as Sol is a neutral area. However, any nation caught attempting to undermine the authors of this document or attack innocent nations within the jurisdiction of the Federation will be dealt with by appropriate measures.

Marcus de Drakan audibly yawned as he sent forth his reply to this...presumptive message from their old foes. The Socialist Republic of Xanthal does not recognize the authority of the Federation in creating or enforcing laws outside of their own territory, nor do we believe its presumption of righteousness acceptable. We also find the Federation and its allies realistically incapable of carrying out the operations that enforcement of this doctrine would require. The Human Empire heard Terran Prime’s declaration, and after giving it due consideration, filed it away with other unenforceable moral declarations and continued on with the glorious task of cleansing the universe of all non-human sapient life. If anything, the Empire stepped up the razing of alien worlds, blasting their civilizations away with accelerated asteroids, or poisoning them with potent wide-vector viral weapons. Occasionally, an Imperial vessel landed troops and exterminated the race up-close and personal, crucifying most and selling the survivors into slavery. It depended on the commander, naturally. But the one thing that all agreed upon was that the Xeno must be excised from the universe by any means necessary.

After all, was it not humanity’s god-given right to ensure its own supremacy? To ensure that it would never be threatened by alien powers again? The Human Empire obviously thought so. The anti-alien crusades continued, much as they had centuries and millennia before, an inexorable culling of epic proportions that left billions of sentients dead, and billions more under the cruel yoke of the Imperial slave-master. Elves were being used for pleasure, Wookies for labor, and ‘furries’ for target practice.

The Empire had heard the Federal declaration, and did not pay it heed.

The Six ships tore free from the warp and took up formation, weapons systems primed, shields readied; all to defy the will of a tyrant in sheeps clothing; an empire that thought itself invulnerable, that it could send forth such madcap claims.

Next, the Imperium was certain that the President would nominate a horse for senator; such were the actions of foolish and insane men.

The fleet slowly left star base 250 there Inertia -less Engines revving and rumbling up as they slowly made their way out of the stations area, there jump drives humming to life as they passed buy a star the light on the void of space gleaming on there hull, a few seconds passed until they jumped, instantly reappearing in a grey blue white flash of light in front of the enemy ships immediately afterwards bays on the carriers opened up, and swarms of fighters rushed out , sleek looking fighters flanked friendly ships to protect there blind spots.. hopefully it wouldn’t come to blows.

The ships did not move; did not turn to face the mere irritance of Union presence; instead they remained unmoving; even while each and every soldier on board prepared for action; fighters readied; bombs and torpedoes; missles and cannons, all ready for the slightest provocations...

The massive ships started to aim at the enemy Chronosian ships, there massive several hundred double ,single and triple turreted Spatial disruptor beam cannons and Spatial disruptor pulse cannons pointing at enemy ships Gravimetric Distortion cannons form all ships opened form the hull and aimed at enemy ships, Dark fusion cannons also turned and aimed as all these weapons aimed they were supplemented buy one thing massive missile banks the Gettysburg class had 150 missile banks with 30 tubes in each its armament consisted of 650 Double turret spatial disruptor Cannons 850 heavy spatial disruptor beam cannons (Double turrets) ,890 Spatial disruptor beam emitters , 250 Gravimetric Distortion cannons , 550 Dark fusion cannons , it was a massive 16 km long ship. I Loomed over some enemy ships its massive armament ready to strike the message sent as a reply was,


The union will not stand down nor fire the first shot, it will simply wait until you attack its ships and then will react to the act of un provoked aggression in interstellar space

My RP plate is overflowing right now. I can't even finish the RPs I've already started, I can't start a new one right now. That weak ~two paragraph post was the only real IC content I could manage in between monster detailed posts for two other RPs I'm participating in.

The ship moved fowards, and dumped a huge amount of deadly radioactive waste of the capital city of these creatures, Kttatha. They screamed, began fleeing the city, before a thin line of light, projected from the mining laser, began burning those who attempted to escape..

The Empyrean task force jumped into the star system, the battlecruiser Eisenhorn at their lead. Three of their scout cruisers, pierced the veil of the system with their high powered sensors. On a slightly more serious note, you are simply incapable of declaring "Martial Law" on half of the known galaxy. There are billions of sentients living among the stars which you now "claim" to police.

We applaud you in your attempts to bring stability and justice to the galaxy and eventually hope you will accomplish it in the end. However, you will find that we will not be so cooperative. We do not have a workable Space Fleet anymore, but nevertheless, we do not recognise your claims or this doctrine.

President Jessica Crescent would like to suggest to the Union government that they replace Robert Bastidas, as he seems to be 'A few Marines short of a Platoon'. She has personally sent a gift basket of fine Gaian fruit to the Bastidas family, extending her grievences for their family member's seemingly perminent condition. She hopes that new leadership comes into power before the Fedral Union collapses under the stress.


Meanwhile, Siesatia will enforce the ban on any Fedral vessels, and any Fedral goods within her own territory. Siesatia would not be so presumptuous as to enforce a ban in any other territory, but suggests similar bans in other countries.

The Balrogga Empire has determined your attempts at annexing all known and unknown nations in both Alpha and Beta Quadrants is a thinly veiled attempt at expansionism. We will not recognize any mass claims on interstellar space.

Interstellar space is neutral by definition. If any were to recognize your claim, it would prevent any other nation from colonizing new worlds because you had already claimed them. They cannot defend their worlds because you laid down martial law preventing them from moving their forces to a position to enable them their sovereign rights.

It is because of this we cannot support your declaration and will pledge our support instead to those who oppose it.

Any attempts at preventing movements of our forces will result in said action being the first aggressive action upon your part. If any Imperial territory is damaged in any manor because of your actions, it will be returned ten-fold. For every imperial ship you damage, one of yours will be destroyed. For every Imperial ship you destroy, ten of your ships will be obliterated. If you damage any world, one of yours will be destroyed.

There is nothing you can do about this because to provide cover, you will need to stretch your forces so thin that you cannot defend yourself from natural disasters, much less other nations. The two fleets you have gathered so far have exposed several million stars to non-protected status already.

Your home world would be undefended because you dedicated your forces to being scattered through out the two Quadrants. You do not have the military means to place a single soldier in every system in both the Alpha and Beta Quadrant. Providing them with equipment is even more implausible.

I sincerely suggest you recall your Declaration and your ships back to your home before someone decided to make use of that undefended target.

Also, any further pursuit of this policy will result in your ITH Status being placed on Parole until this can be resolved.

If that is what you intended, then you have failed; you have only earned the disrespect of, well, just about every other civilised nation to read this.

Any 'enemies' you 'draw out' will, by and large, be those who feel that you are directly threatening their sovereignty; that is, if anything, you will only make yourself new enemies, and provide a unified position from which all who would oppose you can rally.

Strategicly, this is a Very Bad Idea(tm).

Actually, the original Munroe doctrine was basically a weak US shaking its fist at a vastly more powerful Europe and saying 'don't interfere in Latin America or else.'

I see a lot of similarities to this situation actually. :p

As for the overthrowing democratic governments by proxy, that would be the Roosevelt Corallary to the Munroe Doctrine. Basically turning it from a passive instance of fist waving into an active attempt to enforce US interests on Latin America.
