This whole situation is quite preposterous, really. Two 6-mil. nations, one with a $6 billion defense budget and one with a $500 million defense budget threatening one another. I spent 27.5 times Vanperry's entire defense budget on a 60-vessel order from IPS earlier today, and that hardly made a dent in my defense budget (see above figures). Quite frankly, if I wanted to engage in peacekeeping operations here, I could crush both nations' militaries pretty quickly and easily. After all, they've only got about 18,000 infantrymen each, and with no air, armor, or naval support (assuming they've visited no storefronts), I could do this with one hand tied behind my back.

But enough bragging. To Vanperry and Tajiri_san, I say: wait until you're bigger before you start trying to lay the smackdown on anyone.

OOC: True, but even if they RP that they already manufacture their own U.S.- or Soviet-tech weaponry, a nation of six million probably isn't going to have the industrial base necessary to produce large quantities of said weapons. Vanperry might, if only because of her high economy rating and emphasis on defense spending. Tajiri_san is out of the question, though.

I didnt know you could buy weapons and all that kinda stuff Ive seen no way that you can wage war on someone apart from verbal attcks unless you go in and take their region. OOC: It's good to see a new player who's willing to learn. I'm glad you decided to ask what this was all about, instead of doing something n00bish. (As a matter of clarification, newb=non-derogatory term for a new player, and denotes someone who's willing to learn, making efforts at being a good RPer; n00b=derogatory term for someone who clearly has no intention of learning the ropes.)

Now, for help. I'd suggest you read the International Incidents Consolidation Sticky (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=437653), and all/most of the threads contained therein. Additionally, the Euroslavia Series of Helpful Hints (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=408855) are just that: helpful. Once you and Tajiri_san have both read those, you may wish to continue this conflict (but probably in a different manner). Post any questions you have here, and I'll try to answer them as best I can.
