In another technological step forward, the Novikovian Government today revealed the extent of its technological prowess as it unveiled the first of what it promises to be many aircraft indigenously designed. The aircraft, reporters were informed, had already undergone several weeks of flight testing, and was ready to begin full production sometime within the month. To verify these facts, a flight of four of these aircraft – already dubbed Duša (Spirit) by its crews – were briefly seen in a demonstration flight over the port city of Prostéjov.
While not much information has yet been released regarding the aircraft, it was mentioned that it is intended to fill a coastal-defense role, with a possible carrier variant planned by the time production begins. It was also stated that it was the intent of the Novikovian Government to begin limited export of these aircraft to countries abroad, though the Novikovian Airforce (NVVS) insists that these exports will be limited to under forty units.
