SHOCKING NEWS TOday as King Josef Dorsal passes away, age fourty five, in London State Hospital, Service Street. Our nation is in mourning, however, plans for a new Republic have arisen, led by Premier Alissa May, Former Army Field Marshal. Josef Dorsal's son, Aran Dorsal, has mysteriously gone missing with no trace whatsoever, age twenty three. While his father was amazingly popular, Aran was not, as it was rumoured he set up many illegal harems without his father noticing and took many innocent women from the street to the horrors of his private villa and it's basement labryinth. However, Aran Dorsal's private villa was magically set alight and burnt to the floor. Local special forces units and policemen "saw nothing".
The dawn of the Free Democratic Republic, as it will be called, is a new age for Hogsweat. The Premier, representing the Free Socialist Party, has pledged to rid Hogsweat of corruption, moral decay, and the hard laws that broke sticks across the friendly and honest people of Hogsweat's back.
The first start has been to arrest prostitutes and close down strip clubs in downtown Hogsweat. The red light district, and industry, has suffered heavily in the past day as almost over seven hundred thousand brothels and eighty thousand strip clubs were closed down over the country.
Long Live the Revolution!

Vintovia welcomes another revolution, the principality is itself a post-revolutionary country. The prince is just a title, he is in fact an engineer who owns a two-bedroom flat in Vintburg.

Quisqueyan Red Party Chairman Victor Wiltord has been quick to send word of the Republic's support for the new Hogsweatian order, stating -as if to cover Rojo Quisqueyan interests against a counter-coup- that the Red Party stands for the will of the people in Hogsweat as in Quisqueya, and as such means no offence to any figurehead past, present, or future by associating itself with May's administration. Premier Vicente Batistuta is yet to release any similar statement, but it is generally assumed that he too is supportive of the change so long as it does not harm his Republic's chances of concluding military deals with Hogsweat.

On the streets of several major port cities, "spontaneous public outpourings of enthusiastic support for the Hogsweatian arm of the global revolution" have been reported, though it is curious that less visible communities don't even seem to have mumbled, let alone engaged in enthused outpourings of anything much.
