Caladonn

The Republic was ready to expand. The southern areas of its extisting lands finally settled, the people were looking farther afield for their livelihood, and in the Senate, grand speeches of "the Age of Imperialism" and "Manifest destiny" rang through the hallowed halls of that Chamber. The armies and navies were on the move, ready to catch the people of Miccosukee in a pincer movement, of two land armies and two navies. If the inhabitants, or at least some of the tribes, agreed to join Caladonn diplomatically, then so much the better; but if they resisted, they would be crushed.
The land army of 5,500 men, 2,500 spearmen, 1,500 archers, 250 ballistamen, and 1,250 logistics soldiers had already set out, and was crossing the border, while two navies, each of 50 ships, landed on either side of the Florida penninsula. When each of them reached Miccosukee, they sent out diplomats, asking the natives to join Caladonn peacefully for mutual benefit.
OOC: This is for Civilisation: In the Beginning, and I need a defense RPer. The native pop is around 150,000, with around 2,000 troops, although all are separated into different tribes, and have very primitive weapons, akin to fire-hardened spears, etc.
