The red sun and gold star of Kzuu Mai

Introduction

The land that would become Kzuu Mai has been settled for tens of thousands of years; for four thousand years before the bloody Revolution and Kzuu Mai’s inception, it was named the Nir Kra’an Empire and ruled by God-Emperors, who fought each other constantly for the throne and left the peasantry to starve.

The Imperial system was eventually ended by the Revolution, led by Lii Dan Kzuu. Kzuu shot the last God-Emperor and seized control of the nation himself, declaring himself Supreme Chief Executive, and keeping the population in a perpetual state of terror with his secret police forces and grisly public executions.

Kzuu was killed during the December War by Kalaya Sun, who, after the war, became the nation’s first democratically elected president.
