Conflict Jagged Front
Note: This RP is meant to be from a first person side of affairs, as in you are one soldier with your perspective of the war, you can on the Pikan side, or the Vessian side, or perhaps a citizen, or you could be a citizen from a different nation even. as long as its first person, anything goes.
The rumble of the MG has made me deaf, I swear to God it has! I watch as Countless rounds pour out into the large party of the oncoming soldiers. The hills run red with the blood of our adversary, Mercy is far beyond us now. They have paid too dearly for our losses. Why would we care for the life of such a heartless enemy. The Vessians have continually hounded us for years, and now they must pay. They will pay with there blood.
After months of continuous waiting we are given a chance for vengeance. Our regiment is called to the frontline. For almost a year The war has been at a stalemate. Neither side has gained much of an advantage. Continous conflicts are fought on the mountainous borderline of the two nations, Vessia and Pikany. Recent word from the government is that the Vessian Power has captured the Pikan fortified town of Huvner in a mass assault, giving the Vessians a slight advantage on closing in on the temporary militarian capital, Sazmerc.
Which is why we have been called up to the frontlines, to reinforce the Northern outposts. Our chance for vengeance has come.
I take a swig out of my canteen, up in the mountains, I become dehydrated more often. The attack began last night, with a concentrated assault upon the Northern wall. They continue to pour into the machine gun fire like pawns in a chess game. The water dripping down my throat feels good. After one last gulp, I drop my canteen, Saddle my MG, take aim, and count the number of bodies that drop before me.
