VELNETWORK NEWS AT 6hPM

Good evening Velossians all around, this is Mark Straussen.

The world's eyes are now veered into the newly formed communist republic of Kilani. As we all know, there has been an all-out popular revolt against the capitalist government. The overthrow was a success and reactions are mixed throughout the world.

Few days ago, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Velossia Nikolai Kristov addressed a message to Kilani and Kilanians on the Federal Parliament's central court, saying that Velossia salutes the popular revolt and will do everything in the FP's power to help out.

Reactions to that statement were immediate: Prime Minister of Sakarvelossia Jimmy Dawson said that Velossia's stance in the affair is pre-mature and illogic to the least. Relations between Velossia and Sakarvelossia remains uneasy since then. But Zednav Rodensky, our Chief of State, re-affirmed Velossia's co-operation efforts with Kilani.

THE PEOPLE

Majaani & Sons conducted a survey amongst the people of Velossia. The interrogation was 'Do you support the country's stance in all this?'

Results were quite stunning:

89,4% answered that Zednav Rodensky and the country is doing the right thing
8% answered that the Chief of State is doing a mistake
2.6% were whether unaware of the situation or could not give an answer.

After 70 years of isolation from the outside world, the people of Velossia would appreciate a fruitful relation with another country. It is exactly what Chief of State Zednav Rodensky is doing.

Now for local news...
