Pavel Baiki smiles from behind the news desk, holding several sheets of notes in one hand. He begins to speak.
"Good evening comrades and welcome to the PBN News Hour. As we all know the election was held just two days ago and I am sure we have all been eagerly waiting the results. The resulsts are finally in, with 100% of all precints reporting in. As expected, the Communist Party has achieved 50% of the seats. However, the Socialist Party has managed to achieve 30%, with the Liberal Anarchists Party taking 19.9% of the remaining seats. Finally, one seat has been taken by the Liberty Party, the one remainng conservative party in the country. So, good news on all fronts comrades! The Revolution's dream has succeeded! We are a Communist Republic with all people equal. The Senate will be meeting for the first tomorrow in the newly renamed capital building, Revolution Hall.
In other news, PResident Helki has ordered the old presidentail mansion demolished to make way for communal housing. He will be living in the same housing as everyone else. I believe I speak for everyone when I say that he is a true Communist in every sense of the word. On the economic front..."
