In the Beginning ( Late BC )

Arabian tribes have been at war with each other as long as the oldest elder could remember. Kingdoms had been established, and had fallen. Conquests had happened across the sands of Arabia, and many Arabian men and boys fell victim of either blade or arrow or the sands of time. Recently the Arabian Kingdoms ammounted to only three Kingdoms. The Himyar Kingdom was the power of south Arabia, around the lands that would later succede and be named Omar and Yemen. Though the Kingdom was quite young, they never would have known they would out last the other two Kingdoms, though for only so long.

Arabia, 1 AD

Everything was quiet between the three Kingdoms. They had kept to there selves lately, conquering land from indigenous tribes. Ther hadn't been much talk with foreign nations outside of Arabia, but the Kings of the three different Kingdoms knew they were being watched by the Romans and there neighboring African Kingdoms. The Himyar Kingdom had profited from the many captured goods, and there vast armys grew. Everyone believed that the Himyar were quite strong for a young Kingdom.

No one held to much land in Northern Arabia, but the Romans had invaded not so long ago. Only twenty-four years to be exact, but adventurers from up North brough back news of the Roman Legions pulling out due to the vast Arabian deserts.

The King of Himyar sat quietly in his Palace. He knew that something was wrong with this stillness between the three Kingdoms, the undeclared cease fire. Thats when a Messenger arrived, sent by one of his Generals.

-Himyar King " What is it? "

-Messenger " Your majesty, I bring you horrifying news from your armys from northern Himyar. They have spotted a vast Sabaean army. We only have a few days untill they arrive. What should you have me tell your armys? "

-Himyar King " This...this is definatly not good. Send to my armys that I will send more Archers to defend the walls. As for any foot soldiers, they will have to be on there own for now. Hurry and make haste young messenger! "

-Messenger " Yes my majesty! "

The Himyar King was stricken. He hadn't thought even once that the Sabaeans would be invading, he always believed it was the Hadhramaut Kingdom that would attempt an invasion. Perhaps the Sabaeans were trying to conquest both Kingdoms, perhaps they were going for total control once and for all. The Himyar King was stricken with anxiety, he feared his people would be slaughtered and he would lose his land. But no, no that wouldn't happen. Though the Himyar King felt his defeat nearing, his future leadership would actually quell an counter invasion which will mute the other two Kingdoms. It would be a decendant that will one day slay the Saba King's decendant, and the Hadhramaut King's decendant. But the Kingdom would shorty die after a few hundred of years and the Himyari Arabia would split into Civil War, but would finally be brought together under an ideology named Islam.

North Western Boarder, two days later.

The Messenger was riding one of the King's fastest horses to bring the message back to the Himyarii Army. Some hours behind him was the Archers, riding somewhat slower Military horses. The messenger was just seeing the outskirts of the city, but suddenly stopped the horse in its tracks. He unmounted and looked in disbeliefe. What was once a proud city was now spuing smoke. The Sabaeans had pillaged and completely destroyed the city, and were obviously searching the city for any Himyarii Arabians that may still be living. The messenger turned back, and headed twards the archers en route.

Some hours later..

The messenger sat on the horse, speaking with the Archer Captain. They were both grief stricken. The Sabaeans were undoubtedly on there way to conquer more of Himyar, and wern't going to stop untill the last droplet of there blood had been spilled amongst the sands. The Archers and Messengers decided to turn around and head for the next largest city, which happened to be not too far away from the Capital. There they would set up defences, and the Messenger would disembark to tell the King the sad news.

Makeshift camp outside of the ruined city

The Sabaean Men danced and laugh over there victory. They were feeling immortal after there last battle. The defenders were unable to keep the attackers at bay because of the small number of Archers already there. The Sabaeans would attack tommorow morning, heading for the next largest City. But little did they know that they would be stopped dead in there tracks.

OOC: Well you could sign up as another nation or if you are a nation, it may infact be a tad bit better if it got international ^_^

But since I have already RP'd with you and I like having you around, sure. The Hadhramaut Kingdom you could RP as, but I am trying to follow the storyline so of course the Hadhramaut Kingdom will ultimately fall around the same time the Saba Kingdom falls.

Anyways, feel free to start RPing your response of Saba invading you ( if I find the link again, I'll show you the storyline. I know were supposed to have Alt History but I am still basing it off of Real History a bit. )

Talzz, Himyar

It had been a day now since the arrival of the young messenger and the Royal Archers. The young messenger had done his job of returning to the capital of Aden. What he'd brought back with him was marvelous for the city of Talzz. He had brought back over 4,000 troops including Horse Archers, Elite Levi Spearmen, Mamelukes ( My Unique Cavalry. They carry two swords and ride Cammels ), and many Swordsmen. They all gathered with-in the massive stone walls of Talzz, preparing for the Sabaeans attack. The Royal Archers mostly manned the wall facing the direction of the Sabaeans, and a little on the other surrounding walls. Horse Archers sat behind the walls and the Elite Levi Spearmen and Swordsmen, prepped to unleash a fiery hell from behind the walls. The Mamelukes were mostly around the city's townhall, prepared for any Sabaeans that might get past the troops near the wall. Alongside all the Himyarii troops were thousands of male Millitia, ranging from 8 year olds to 50 year olds. They were all prepared to die in the name of there honor, there familys, and there proud Kingdom. The Sabaeans would pay dearly for the destruction of Sana'a, and there petty Kingdom would later suffer the same fate the once mighty Sana'a had.

Some miles away from Talzz

The Sabaeans had decided to attack earlier then planned. They had not been able to get any spies to infiltrate Talzz and come back alive. They kept getting caught by the gate guards. They were only a twenty minute march from Talzz, since they had moved forward some time after the celebrations. They were eager to sit down in Talzz and hunt down every last woman and child, but they didn't know what they would be facing soon. They had only brough verry little siege equipment, all ranging from small catapults to battering rams. They had nothing to infiltrate the walls. They marched with a blind eagerness to there deaths and there Kingdom's later demise.
