Introduction:
Background: Flightopia was a Russian colony up until 1837, when on June 14 the people of colony drove the Russians out and declared their new nation, Flightopia. The constitution (Setting forth a government exactly like America’s) was ratified on January 1, 1874. The country was then internationally recognized as a nation 7 months later.

Geography:
Location: Pacific Ocean, 1,500 miles west of Oregon and about 1,500 miles north of Hawaii.
