The Rules

1. I am God in this Earth. I decide what comes and goes. My assistants, Beautiful Yalaluxurios and Kjata Major, will help me with this job.(As BY's making the maps. I can't do shit with graphics on this iMac. And Kjata Major is more active and dedicated than me. :p)

2. We will be using NationStates populations and military figures in this RP. Use:

3. BE ACTIVE. If you do not post at least once a week, your nation will be kicked from Earth X and your territory RPed as neutral. However, there is an exception. If you announce that you will be going on vacation, you will be given one month to post at least once before your territory is RPed as neutral and you nation is kicked.

3. Modern Tech and Post Modern Tech only. No clones, no nuclear weapons(I find them too cheap), no futuristic weapons and/or vehicles please.

4. Any international incidents in Earth X are limited to Earth X nations ONLY.

5. When RPing a war with another, member controlled nation, you will RP fairly with him or her. Against neutral nations, you must first calculate their military by using:

Then, you RP fairly. Don't make it a total win for you. These people, unless you have REALLY good ways with words, will not want to be conquered, and will fight till the bitter end, when it's absolutely hopeless.

Preimer Mikalchev looked out of his window to the capital of Czechoslovakia, Prague. Workers bustled about like worker bees, rebuilding torn down cities, while soldiers and police looked on, directing it all.

Czechoslovakia was tiny in population, but quite massive in territory. After the third World War, a war of words and politics, the world dissolved into anarchy and chaos. Fortunately, the Czech Republic and Slovakia reunified to save themselves from the madness all around.

Now known as Czechoslovakia, they began to conquer the territory around them, Poland and Germany being massive and rewarding gains. Austria and Hungary, Switzerland was the only small problem in the conquest, but it too went down.

Now, it was a time for rebuilding, and soon, once the population regrew, it'd be a time for politics and war.

King Roxicet (or "Rox" as he preferred to be called) Soma Narcosis sat back in his chair to contemplate the situation. As he did so, he found himself thinking about the recent history of Australia and how he had come to power. Australia had been one of the last nations to collapse as a result of the economic and political turmoil occassioned by the world wide great depression of 2009. However, isolated as it was, Australia still relied on other nations and their economies to keep their's going. By 2011, Australia was in anarchy and civil war loomed large. It was then that Rox had stepped into the limelight. Being 1/2 native, aboriginal Australian had gained him significant support from many in Australia. Having been 1st Mate on one of Australia's CVX class Aircraft carriers, the Outback had garned him significant support from what remained of the loyal Australian military. With the popular support he enjoyed, backed by the miliatry might he was able to muster up, he had staged a small coup and declared himself king of Australia. As it stood now, only the Capital Territory, New South Wales and Victoria were fully united under his rule, but the rest of Australia, if it didn't organize itself soon, would shortly face conquest and re-unification into the kingdom.
Rox was generally a benevolent ruler, he allowed the people most all of the freedoms they had enjoyed under the former Australian government. However, he did demand loyalty to him and a recognition by the people that with those freedoms came responsibilities. Currently, re-building the infra-structure of Australia was a large priority, as was a need for oil. Coal and Uranium powered the cities and much of the navy. But oil was needed for all its many other uses such as gasoline and industry. He was prepared to trade gold, iron ore, steel and uranium for the oil, but he needed to find out who in this semi-organized world he could deal with and trust. He had banned private passenger autos that ran on gasoline or desiel for the time being and was being extremely conservative with the oil reserves he still had under his control. It was important that the military be able to defend Australia and that such commerce as was necessary be carried out. A program to put coal fired trains back in service temporarily was up and running as was construction of railroad tracks across the territory he controlled. Fully electric trains were being phased in and the coal fired ones would once again return to the pages of history if all went well sometime in the next 5 years or so. No, the big issue now was who could he trust, who shoul he ally himself with in these troubled times. That was an issue that needed study.

Kjata is a demi-God if you can call her that. She is a creation of suffering and pain and the evil of the world. People outside of Kjata Major do not believe in her magical powers and thinks it is all fake. One thing is certain, those who believe in Kjata will never turn their backs on her. Captured people and soldiers will be hostile, crazy and mad and believe Kjata will punish them for the suffering they have been inflicted.

So far, Kjata has remained quiet and picked up the pieces after WWIII. Though the nations now are rebuilding and gaining much needed land means war.

Current Kjata KNOWN vehicles:

'Technical' type vehicles with twin 50 mm guns attached on the backs of pick ups and vans. Pickup trucks are popular and are known to carry up to 10 people inside one truck. A soldier moving transport vehicle. Armor varies, but can be upto 8 inches thick of solid steel. The front often carries armor up to 15 inches with a 'cattle pusher'. Nearly impervious to machine gun fire.

'Doom Bug' vehicles; sports cars and fast cars armored with steel plating and twin-RPG launchers and a small 10 inch cannon. These speedy cars are sort of an MBT of the Kjata military if you can call these it. Seats only 2 people, but the second person is often in control of a deadly 6000 round per minute gattling gun. Capable of destroying nearly every target and speeding away. Very weak against shelling. Two or three hits can destroy these armored vehicles from an Abrams tank. Heavy armored tanks are strong against these speedy vehicles.

'Chaos Convoys' trucks, heavily armored 18-wheelers. Outfitted with 8-inch armor plating and loaded with 4, 6000 rounds per minute gattling guns. A forward 'spike' to smash cars and trucks and even people out of the way. The trailer is said to be cut in half and used to carry troops. A second deck (flipped upside down top of the trailer), is used as a Cannonry platform to lob shells from RPGs and anti-tank and anti-air missiles at targets. Up to 8 50mm machine guns are placed on all sides of the trailer. A deadly vehicle of nearly unmatched power. Capable of destroying 3-4 Abrams tanks due to its high speed for a heavily armored vehicle and decieving appearence.

'Terminator' tanks, these are only rumored tanks. These are supposively modifed Abrams tanks. Each tank has 20-inches of armor plating. 4 hydrogen powered engines. The entire outside of the armor plating is weapons. A main gun that is 20-inches is the main attack weapon. Capable of pushing through nearly any armor or taking out a building. 5 inter-connected 50 mm automatic machine guns. Twin 6000 round per minute gattling guns. One point defense laser, capable of destroying incoming missiles or burning people, hedgehogs or small barriers. Crew of 5 people. These tanks are the most powerful modified tank known to Kjata, very few tanks exist however. Around 2500 suspected. They have no fuel problems, but a small convoy travels with the tanks to provide ammo.

Again, not trying to be an ass, but wanting the rules to be the same for all.

How's my vehicles look? They are obviously vehicles that have been modified except the tank. More of an urban warfare thing though; Kjata has been at war for over 15 years in an urban setting so our technology rate is low and specialized for heavy hitters and speedy get aways.

Oh ya if no one could tell, the trailer trucks are our SUPPLY CARRIERS! Nearly 90% of all nations never RP their supply lines and they are so prone to attack over a large distance that you either protect them with military forces or give them enough firepower to fend off attackers. That is exactly what they have done, anti-tank, anti-air, anti-personnel weapons. Instead of the typical 1 job one unit thing. Not perfect in all, but more of a threat then a standard convoy. (Yes we will also use tanks with the PDL's to protect them further).

Jacques Vioget, the ruler of the Greater France, stared out of the window of his mansion. He had forged this empire out of the remains of France and Spain during the chaos following the Third World War. He had slo managed to siexe Belguim and Morroco. Morroco especially allowed him to control traffic into the Mediterrean from the Atlantic.

A former Colonel in the French Army he had led his band of men to great things. Now those men who had followed him into hell had become his closest advisors. He had seen what democracy had done to those countries. Democracy would no longer happen. It could not happen. Niether could communism. He would make sure his people lived on.

Miltary and Stuff

Military one isn't working for me. I'll jog it later.

How's my vehicles look? They are obviously vehicles that have been modified except the tank. More of an urban warfare thing though; Kjata has been at war for over 15 years in an urban setting so our technology rate is low and specialized for heavy hitters and speedy get aways.

Oh ya if no one could tell, the trailer trucks are our SUPPLY CARRIERS! Nearly 90% of all nations never RP their supply lines and they are so prone to attack over a large distance that you either protect them with military forces or give them enough firepower to fend off attackers. That is exactly what they have done, anti-tank, anti-air, anti-personnel weapons. Instead of the typical 1 job one unit thing. Not perfect in all, but more of a threat then a standard convoy. (Yes we will also use tanks with the PDL's to protect them further).

First, the bad news, we have more men in the military than we can realistically outfit with needed gear and weapons. Best estimate is that a max of only 20% of our potential military strength can be fully mustered and ready for combat. OOC: I'll post up my economy and military numbers once my population hits 10 million. A brief description of my army.

The Czechoslovakian army was, to say the least, laughable compared to others. Namely, they were modified World War 2 Russian, American and German vehicles and weapons. The technology was pitiful, but the troops were strong and well trained. They knew how to fight wars, with bad equipment or not.

OOC: OK, my NS nation is nothing at all like what my RP nation wants to be. A Libertarian Capitalist Alliance is not going to have 79% taxes and a negative trade deficite (I REALLY need to fix that...) Any suggestions? That and I'm assuming I'm accepted :rolleyes:

IC: The Independent Caribbean Confederation, or ICC was born out of the vacuum that arose as the US fell. The Caribbean's most charismatic and well-known leader was Fidel Castro, an aging Communist from the previous century. He knew how to survive, and saw an opportunity. Some called it senility, some radiation, some a Godsend, but in 2006 Fidel Castro took a 180 degree switch. He fully embraced Capitalism and Classical Liberalism. Suddenly, Cuba now enjoyed the freedom to do anything. However, many were unused to fending for themselves and a recession hit Cuba for several years. Many other Islands fell, especially after the war, when many owners of Beach cottages and tourists no longer existed. Though no city was hit, they were all devistated.

In 2010, a Luxemborg bank, one of the last remaining, began to invest in Cuban Cigars, sugar, and mining. With much of the US's food now coming from Central and South America, trade soared in Cuba and Hispainola. Soon, as Luxemborg cash came in and Latin goods went out, the Caribbean was one of the richest sections in the world. However, in 2012 a nuclear bomb went off in Guantanamo Bay. US involvment was unlikely as it was barely a cohesive entity. So far, no organization has claim responsibility. However, the effects were more far reaching than radiation.

Soon, following the threat of security, the leaders of Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and several other islands banded together in the Kingston Conference of 2014 to form the basis of the ICC, the Caribbean Defense Federation. This was basically a promise for the various nations to defend each other in the event of an attack. In Cuba, following the ideals of some Capitalists, manditory service was placed, 3 years Marines, 4 years Navy/Airforce. Many other nations followed suit. The Second Kingston Conference in 2015 created the Caribbean Free Trade Agreement.

By 2017 nearly the entire Caribbean had joined in these organizations. In 2018 the Third Kingston Conference several Haitians proposed the idea of a united Caribbean following ideals they could all live by: Unity, Loyalty, and Freedom. The entire conference agreed. Soon, they began to draft a constitution developing a Confederacy with stong bonds but low interference. The Conference then preceded to elect a President. The obvious choice was the founder of the basic ideals, Cuban Fidel Castro. Though many were weary of his past and his age, his health and his enthusiasm were not to be doubted. On January 2, 2019 Fidel Castro Ruiz was proclaimed El Presidente of the newly dubbed Independant Caribbean Confederation. The Navies of each signatory were combined, and the list, which began with only Cuba and Hispainola, grew to Florida, the entirety of the Islands, some independant Venezuelan cities, and even as far away as Bermuda. In October, the final signatory was asked. The Bankers' Union of Luxemborg, which was independant in the groups of alliances forming in Europe, was invited. As the people who helped Cuba rise to power, it would be rude to exclude them. They signed on November 12, 2019, as "special members."

President Santiana Vargas stared at the computer screen for a moment and then sat back and sighed - life was going to be allright for his new nation of Texarkania. Santiana was no fool, he had seen the collapse coming down the pike when know one else had and had taken steps early on, in 2008, to ensure what had come to pass. Once home, he had used his war hero status and entered the political arena. His keen intelligence, likeable nature, but conservative values had been a hit with those in Texas and in no time, he found himself rising in the political spotlight. All the time, he had been working on his theory in private. Using the idea, he had seen the economic downturn that was headed to engulf the planet. Using the theory he had determined where the most secure spot on the planet would be and where the best place to begin a rebuilding process would be and he had come up with Texarkania - Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. In 2009 when the trouble began, he was serving as the mayor of El Paso Texas and he had instantly mobilized the national guard units in the area and set them to secure the border of Texas and Mexico. As the trouble grew worse, through his political network of connections he had managed to convince other mayors and guard units to follow his command and eventually, when the governor was assasinated by the mobs in Austin and the legislature fled in terror, he had swooped in and seized control. By 2010, Texas was fully under his rule and all it took was some negotiations with Louisana's leadership and Mississipi's governor to convince them of the soundness of his idea for rebuilding a nation in north America.
His plan was premised on a few key points - points that sold the plan to others:
1. The U.S. as it had been was no more and was devolving into chaos as was the rest of the world
2. The world political map was changing rapidly
3. The collapse of the U.S. and the E.U. and Russia's splintering and the non-stop strife in the middle east meant a world without a super power, but also a world without what it needs most - energy and trade
4. Texas had the 2nd largest uranium deposits in north America
5. Texas and Louisiana together had the largest reserves and supplies of oil in the former U.S. with the possible exception of hard to access Alaskan reserves. Further, they were already set to tap those reserves and had offshore rigs in the gulf already
6. The Mississippi River - the gateway to the hearland of the U.S. - with Mississippi and Louisiana together, they controlled the mouth of the river at New Orleans and trade up and down the river into the cornbelt and the area of the great lakes.

In short - Texarkania had what was needed to build an economy and fuel it as well as promote trade and transit of goods. The military of the area was in decent shape and Houston control had been generally saved, they had access to 3 satelites for observation and communications. Texarkania was posed to take a leading role in the rebuilding of the planet. New governments were popping up all over the place and it was time to put out the word - Trade! Oil!!! get it here, unless you really feel like getting involved in the middle east again and re-starting the cycle that destroyed you once before That was the message he had broadcast throughout the world in all mediums possible that he could access and that he had sent to [NS]Parthini directly via secure transmissions, With their grip on Venezuala's oil, we're set to do big things in the new age of man thought President Vargas.

Turning back to his computer he plugged in the data and got the readouts he wanted to see that assessed his new nation's economy - yes, all was going to be good. The Greater France was created out of the ashes fo the old France. During the closing months of the war as the French government collapesed, a Colonel in the French army kept his troops together and organized. He led them south, to Marseilles. as they went he collectd more scattered troops and civilians. He was an island in a sea of chaos.

At Marseilles he declared a new French government, with himself as leader. Desperate for anything to hold onto, the remenants of the army latched on to him and supported him. He worked out from Marseilles, establishing law through force. For the next few years he continued to regain control of France, as well as Belguim, through military and diplomatic means. In 2012. He finally had France, Belguim, and the Channel Islands firmly under his control. He turned his eyes south, to the squabbling states of Spain. In 2013 the resurgent Franch army swept south across the Pyrenees. He allied himself with some of the Spanish states and essentially absorbing them and took others through force. It took three more years of blood, sweat, and toil to secure Spain and Portugal.

In 2017 Greater France staged a coup in Morocco, putting a puppet government in place. Several months later the new leader ceded all power to Greater France.

Finally, in 2019 an expedition landed in the Azores and established a new government.

Move to your own region or stop using that stupid NSeconomy calc.

For taxes it is a bit more complex. Everytime the issues come in for the government to do this or that, don't do it. Let 'society' or whatever work out the problems. This will lower your taxes. Income tax is unheard of in Kjata Major and the bonuses are really good.

Lower taxes mean, less grey sector (lost money). A higher currency value, but also a lower fund system over all. It APPEARS to enhance population growth to, but I have no evidence to back that up.

The Confederacy of Yderia was born on the fourth of January, 2018. After the Third World War, the five nations of Scandinavia and surrounding districts decided to create an Empire that, due to its non-involvement in the war, become stronger than the rest. With a Central Ruling Council based in New Belfast, in the same place as Stockholm was before its destruction (the Russians blew it up instead of Berlin with a faulty, Russian-made warhead). The Council rules supreme. It is comprised of eleven (11) members, two (2) from each nation included (Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Estonia), and a Supreme Chancellor, and Irishman by the name of Martin O'Reilly. Technical trucks also, but they are too light to actually pose a real threat, but they can move troops around at over 80 mph on highways. Chaos Convoys, you will rarely see these unless you attack the supply lines, then these crazy trucks will make you wish you didn't cause of their excess firepower and rounds to spare!

This is a news report of Kjata Major's new project to get the country back under the control of the people and the government following the aftermath of WWIII. Kjata's past decade of war has made soldiers and its people used to harsh conditions. Infact the military is already 1.4% of the population percentage. Over a million people are currently in the military.

The ruins of the old cities are being torn down and being rebuilt. A spirit of revival unlike anything seen before is within the nation. A period of destruction followed by the spirit of rebuilding. Cranes as far as the eye can see, towering into the heavens. These high-rise buildings of Tokyo will be part of a stronger and better tomorrow for the civilians of Kjata Major.

No taxes have prompted millions to come to the nation, seeking cheap land and prosperity. Though the government collects little, it also provides little to the people. The military weapons still parade the streets, the old cars and trucks have been modified into a new breed of fighting machines.

Factories have popped up all along the coastline. Producing cars and weapons, tools and tanks. The mixed production of war materials and civilian tools has prompted for a powerhouse of an economy. The average person makes over $30,000 a year! This means increased buying power and large amounts of possessions.

Another look at the military however shows a out-of-date wreck. Civilian vehicles turned into weapons. Though this is all planning to change as thirty new naval yards are beginning to pop up. Some producing fast jet skis, others large frigates, and some producing battleships and aircraft carriers. The fishing industry however has remained strong, as WWIII naval warfare was not important and fishing ships presented no threat to enemy warships.

The time has come for Kjata to rise from the ashes like the Phoenix and begin again, with renewed hope and dreams.

OOC: What years was WW3 raging, and when did it end, just for referance? If its ok and not decided yet, how about 2014-2018, sorta in parallel with the first? Is that ok?

December: Tempers flare in the middle east over the attacks - Sunni Muslims in Iraq declare independence from the Shi'ite controlled government, civil war breaks out and Iran joins on the side of the Shi'ites. Kurdish unrest leads to skirmishes in the north and an uprising in Turkey.

2009:
January - Worldwide economic depression sets in fully - Hong Kong stock exchange collapses. President McCain declares Marshall law in the U.S.
March Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, Nevada, Kansas, Illinois, Missouri and Tennessee announce they are seceding from the U.S. and no longer recognize the U.S. government as a true government. - Anarchy and small scale warfare occurs throughout the U.S. Coumbian communists overthrow their government and attempt an invasion of Venezuala which is crushed, but not before a bio-weapon is detonated in Carracas and kills millions in South America as the disease spreads over the next 6 years.
July Brazil and Argentina's governments collapse due to economic pressures and anarchy takes hold. Egypt, Jordan and Syria invade Israel.
August The conflict in the middle east expands to asia and India and Pakistan formally declare war with each other - several nukes are used and millions die before they collapse into anarchy.
October Breakaway Moslem states in the former soviet union nuke Moscow - Russian government collapses as a result of this attack and the worldwide depression.
December E.U. formally disbands and tells member nations "you're on your own."

2010
January Australian government collapses, Food riots and starvation run rampant in China.
March Texas secures it's independence from the former U.S. and the nation of Texarkania is born - the rest of the U.S. remains in chaos.
April Unification efforts led by Castro and Cuba in the Carribbean begin to show signs of paying off as treaties are entered into.
August Japan's economic woes lead to an unemployment rate of over 45% - economy collapses. China moves to take over Korean Pennisula, North Korea Nukes Bejing and Shainghai.
December Africa errupts into all out civil war as governments collapse and tribal war lords seize control.

2011:
January Canada's government falls and civil war errupts there as the French in Quebec declare independence.
April Total world war errupts with just about everyone fighting for their own survival and resources - no more nukes or bio weapons are used however. The last of the old world governments fall as new nations begin to arise.
August Louisiana joins Texarkania as a state.

2012
JanuaryWar rages around the planet, but small government entitites are beginning to form as the old ones collapse.

Rodenkan Military
Military service in Rodenka is also compulsory. 3% of the population serves in the military. The majority of the military is in the Air Force and Navy. The navy especially. The pride and joy of the Rodenkan Navy is the RNS Enterprise, formerly of the United States Navy. The ship was impounded in 2013 when it arrived in Italy to take on supplies after a short and bloody firfight with the ship's Marine contingent. The carrier now forms the nucleus of a large carrier group that patrols the Med, while a smaller, native built carrier, the Roma forms the center of a smaller carrier group. The airforce is comprised mainly of Eurofighters, F/A-18s and other older craft that have been bought, begged, and stolen since Rodenka came into existence.

President Vargas looked at the map and the summary of Military and significant economic assets and was pleased and dismayed at the same time. Dismayed because he had shit for a navy, 3 battleships in Galveston and 4 mini-subs, designed for repair work on the offshore rigs, in New Orleans and Port Arthur. That was it and that was not good. On the other hand, he had been able to move quickly enough that he had in all likelihood the most powerful, organized airforce on the planet at this time. He had managed to secure San Antonio and Witchita Falls and their air wings early on and had grabbed a few from other points in Texas and Louisiana. He had 65 F-16's and 40 F-18 Tomcats as well as 22 Raptor Stealth fighters, 4 B1 Stealth bombers and 5 B-52 Stratofortresses under his control - better yet, he had the fuel to fly them. He had a large infantry contingent, but transportation was limited to 2,000 trucks and humvees and private vehicles. He had only 33 operational Bradleys and 2 tanks. On the other hand, he had plenty of tanker trucks, 8 operational refineries and best of all (thank you governor Long in Louisiana, 6 (count them, 6) oil tanker ships of the Exxon Valdez class, stationed in New Orleans.

Looking back at the map, and the black lines that indicated the plans for his high speed rail project he was pleased. None of the former U.S. namby-pamby "slow down in town" laws were of concern to him. He had trains that could travel at 200+ mph whereever track was laid. Towns who didn't like it had been told "tough shit" and been ordered to clear the way for the transportation system that was being built. So far the tracks that had been laid and the trains in service only ran from Dallas up through Witicha Falls to Amarillo and from Dallas down to Houston and over to New Orleans, but the rest was being built at a record pace. He did need to engage in some trade for steel though, "hmm, perhaps Mauiwowee would be interested, they want oil, I'll have to check that out" he thought to himself. He looked back at the summary one more time, "Damn, only 39 Appache's" he said to himself, "I thought San Antonio had more." Finally, he noticed, he had only 11 heavy artillary pieces. Time to go to work.

ooc. I'll give a brief history of Warta Endor.

After the collapse of Argentina and the rest of South America in 2009, several rebel groups emerge. The three largest groups are the Combined Socialist Partisan Group (CSPG), the Communist-Marxist Brigade (CMB) and the Neo-Fascist Assault Group (NFAG). At the end of 2010 only these group remain, the CSPG holding Northern Chile, Bolivia and Northern Argentina, the CMB holding the Remainder of Chile and Southern Argentina and the NFAG holding Uruguay and the middle part of Argentina. The CSPG and the CMB ally themselves against the NFAG, who untill then had the upper hand due to better equipment and technology. But the Combined Leftist Army are too much and by 2013 is the Combined Leftist Army victorious, with the Fascist leader Jorge Defutio fleeing with a few loyal followers in Peru. Order returns and the economy grows steadily, but early 2014 radical Communists break away from the CMB and open a short lived guerilla. After three months the Communist Leader, Refundo Ozabal, surrenders and is executed. A pretty large group have escaped into Brazil and Peru, continueing their guerilla. The Marxists coöperate with the CSPG and form a provisional government. At the end of 2015 elections are held which result in a major election victory of the CSPG, with the Liberal Democratic party as second and the Marxist party as third party in the parliament. The Capital of the newly declared Social-Democratic Republic of Warta Endor moves from Santiago to Buenos Aires. On the first of may, 2016 , the official start of the republic is celebrated with a parade of all the veterans of the Civil War. The next three and a half years are full of recovery and economic development. By the beginning of 2020, Warta Endor is strong, pretty prosperous and stable nation.

The armed forces are divided in five seperate branches: the Army, the Navy, the Marines, the Airforce and the Special Forces. The Coast Guard is part of the Navy. The weak part is the navy, for the CSPG High Command gave priority to land guerilla. Later on rebuilding the country and air/ground defence were again judged more important than the navy. The Marines are almost at the same level as the Revolutionary Guard. The exact details of the Special Forces are unknown. Their training is said to be at a high level and they regulary execute missions in Brazil and Peru to exterminate the last bastions of the NFAG and the Communists.

An Embarrassing Accident on Global Television!

A cute news girl is reporting from outside a military base, blonde and with nice long hair she was perfect!. 36, 28, 32! Well....that's what she advertises anyways.

"Hello everyone, if you look behind me, you'll see an old Kjata Major military tank base. What is the problem you ask? A 'Terminator' tank has been stolen by a rogue terrorist group."

A picture of a massive 90 ton monster tank is shown, its heavy-plated armor and massive gun turret is displayed.

"This is the stolen tank. One of the most powerful tanks in existance. Based of the American M1 Abrams, this tank has three times more horsepower, over double the standard armor plating, and it runs on hydrogen fuel cells!"

In the background the tank revs up and smashes into the chain link fence, cheers and whooping sounds come from inside.

"They've returned! The Kjata forces are in close pursuit! It appears as if this tank will be destroyed or rendered immobile to end this three hour pursuit, in which it has returned to the base. "

The tank turns its turret and fires, destroying a guard tower on the other side of the base, clearly over a mile away. A swarm of armored cars, the Doom Buggy cars, surround the tank.

"Come out with your hands up or we will fire!" yelled a man on a loudspeaker.

The tank stopped targetting another building and turned the turret towards the two or three dozen cars, all of which are heavily armed.

"FIRE!" screamed the man. All of a sudden a blaze of bullets and RPG rounds slammed into the tank. In an attempt to fire an explosive round the 7.68 gattling gun rounds destroyed the shell prematurely, blasting the main gun to pieces.

Under the hail of rounds and RPG fire the tank was barely being damaged. It's armor was incredibly thick. As a desperate measure the tank charged the cars, but their agility was too much for the tank, and they drove around in a semi-circle blasting the entire time at it.

Under the barrage of bullets the newsgirl continues her report, "This type of tank is nearly impervious to every type of fire in the world, even its treads are completely covered in armor with a simple push of a button! The military is having a hard time of breaking through it's thick shell."

From out of no where a barrage of 6 shots lands on the tank from somewhere in the west. A small explosion follows and the front of the tank is dented and scorched now. It was back-up! The slower Terminator Tanks of the military had just arrived.

"It appears as if this battle is almost at an end, the military has closed in, the Doom Buggy cars are speeding away....wait a second, that means....AIR ATTACK!" she screamed and ran with her cameraman to a ditch off the side of the road.

A second later the roar of two jets, like MiG's flew overhead, then the tank exploded in a ball of fire. A direct hit destroyed the front of the tank and shut it down. The wreckage of the tank was gruesome, but the terrorists, men wrapped in cloth, came out and rose their hands up.

"Ok...we surrender...no more, please!" said one of them.

The newsgirl, now covered in dirt, reported, "Well in an unexpected turn of events the tank was destroyed, but the crew survived only because of how thick the armor plating was. It was a long three hour struggle, but now it is over!"

United We Stand, Divided We Fall

OOC: Apologies in advance for the long post, but I thought I'd better outline the weapons and technologies confiscated from the US Military after WW3. By the way these are technologies either already in use by the US Military or due to be in place by the time our RP starts (RL 2020). Any problems, ask me.

Hypersonic Attack Aircraft A high-speed strike vehicle capable of projecting lethal force anywhere in the world in less than four hours. Operating at Mach 12 and a cruise altitude of 100,000 ft, this vehicle is a reusable two-stage system comprised of an unmanned boost vehicle and a manned hypersonic strike aircraft. The gas turbine-engined boost vehicle requires a conventional runway and accelerates the strike vehicle to Mach 3.5 and 65,000 ft. The strike vehicle then separates and uses a ramjet/scramjet engine to reach its cruise condition. The total system range is 10,000 nautical miles (NM); the hypersonic strike vehicle has an unrefueled range of 5,000 NM. It is capable of launching precision-guided munitions, including the hypersonic air-to-ground missile described in system 5.4, at a standoff distance of 1,450 NM. Alternatively, the platform may be used to transport an uninhabited unmanned air vehicle described in system 4.2.

FotoFighter A highly maneuverable, stealthy, inhabited advanced fighter aircraft whose skin is fitted with an array of diode lasers and sensors. Efficient electronic control of the laser arrays allows this fighter to engage multiple targets simultaneously with varying degrees of lethality. At low powers, the arrays can function as transmitters and receivers for low probability of interception (LPI) communications. Threat detection, target illumination, and tracking are also possible.

Container Aircraft An aircraft consisting of an airlifter in which standard shipping containers form integral structures of the fuselage. The aircraft consists of three baseline sections: the cockpit, the wingbox, and the empennage. In its simplest form, the "short" version-the aircraft is capable of flight by joining the cockpit, wingbox, and empennage directly together. With standard shipping containers installed between the cockpit and wingbox and between the wingbox and the empennage, the aircraft can be configured to carry cargo ("stretch" version). The first wave of container aircraft to arrive in a theater of operations "disassembled." The cockpit then forms a command and control facility, the aircraft engines generate the base power, the wings provide fuel storage, and the containers themselves (when empty) provide shelter for troops, supplies, and equipment. This concept provides a mobile base.

Lighter-than-Air Airlifter A very large capacity, rigid-frame lighter-than-air vehicle that provides one million pound airlift capability with a unrefueled range of 1,2500 NM. This vehicle also has the ability to deploy and recover powered UAVs while stationary or in-transit. Vehicle is able to house support materiel, personnel, and MEDVAC modules depending upon mission requirements.

Supersonic Airlifter A Mach 2.4 supersonic airlifter that provides 50,000 pound airlift capability with a unrefueled range of 5,000 NM. This vehicle provides the capability to deliver military personnel (roughly 150), advanced precision weapons, and appropriate resupply anywhere in the world within hours.

Stealth Airlifter (SA) An all-weather, low-observable aircraft capable of low supersonic cruise and dedicated to special operations forces (SOF). With an unrefueled range up to 4,000 NM, it can be used to insert and extract SOF teams, as well as to extract high value assets (HVA) and weapons of mass destruction. The SA connected to a global information management system (say, GIMS System 8.1) for all source intelligence, weather, navigation, and communications.

Global Transport Aircraft (GTA) A global reach transport airplane of less than one million pounds take off gross weight, capable of carrying 150,000-250,000 pounds 12,000 to 10,000 NM respectively. This vehicle also can deploy powered UAVs and parafoils. The GTA house support materiel, personnel, and MEDVAC modules, depending upon mission requirements. This aircraft also be modified for use as a tanker.

Strike UAV A low-observable, uninhabited air vehicle that loiters subsonically over the region of interest for long periods of time (24+ hours) until directed to strike. Its primary mission is to engage ground targets with standoff precision munitions; however, it also has a limited air-to-air capability. It relies on off-board sensors to supply reconnaissance and targeting information as well as command and control, although it has sufficient on-board sensor capability to allow it to perform preprogrammed missions.

Reconnaissance UAV An uninhabited reconnaissance aerial vehicle (URAV) that can be employed either as an independent system or in conjunction with other airborne, ground-based, and spaceborne systems. The URAV is fitted with a variety of multispectral sensors, such as infrared, optical, radar, and laser, and collects images, signals intelligence (SIGINT), electronic intelligence (ELINT), and other information. It loiters subsonically at very high altitudes over the region of interest for extended periods of time without refueling. The URAV also can be used as part of a bistatic configuration, in which it illuminates the region of interest while different sensors receive and process the information.

Uninhabited Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) A vehicle that can be employed either as an independent system or in conjunction with other airborne, ground-based, and space- based systems. It carries a suite of multispectral sensors (optical, infrared, radar, laser, etc.) supplies information to its suite of standoff precision guided munitions. UCAV loiters at high altitude over the region of interest for long periods of time (24+ hours) until called upon to strike a target. While in its subsonic loiter mode, it can perform a surveillance and reconnaissance mission for the Global Information Management System (System 8.1). It could be used as part of a bistatic configuration in which it illuminates a region of interest while a different sensor receives and processes the information. As a secondary mission, it can perform electronic countermeasures (ECM) and electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM) roles.

Precision Delivery System A suite of powered and parafoil UAVs capable of autonomous flight for the purpose of all-weather precision (within 1 meter) airdrop. High altitude (40,000 ft) precision airdrops can be achieved using GPS or INS-guided parafoil delivery systems. This technique allows equipment/supplies to be delivered to forward-deployed forces while transport aircraft remain hundreds of miles from the drop zone. Positions can be determined using light detection and ranging (LIDAR) or a GPS instrumented radio drop sound. Powered UAVs and deliver smaller, high value packages from greater standoff ranges.

UAV Mothership A large capacity, long-loiter-time, uninhabited subsonic air vehicle used to deploy and recover smaller combat UAVs. It also can replenish them with weapons and propellant. This air vehicle has the ability to collect, convert and store solar energy, and then transfer energy through physical means or via beaming to other airborne vehicles such as the FotoFighter (System 1.2).

Exfiltration Rocket (ER) A system designed to quickly extract special operations forces (SOF) teams from the mission area. This system would be brought in during the SOF insertion and assembled at the exfiltration launch site. After mission completion, the SOF team members load themselves and any other items, such as a high value asset (HVA) or weapon of mass destruction (WMD), into the ER and then take off. The payload and passengers are recovered via an air-retrievable payload system or through a "soft" landing in a friendly area.

Orbital Maneuvering Vehicle (OMV) An uninhabited orbital propulsion and docking system used to take payloads from an earth-to-orbit lift vehicle and place them in their final orbital plane, or used to fetch and return orbiting payloads to a central repair and recovery location. The system is be capable of carrying line replaceable units (LRU) to a damaged/degraded satellite and accomplishing on-site repair or replacement. It is designed to allow refueling of civil, commercial, and military satellites as well as the rearming of military space weapons platforms.

Orbital Combat Vehicle (OCV) An uninhabited orbital propulsion and docking system used to take payloads from an earth-to-orbit lift vehicle and place them in their final orbital plane, or used to fetch and return orbiting payloads to a central repair and recovery location. The system can also carry line replaceable units to a damaged/ degraded satellite and accomplish on-site repair or replacement. It is designed to allow refueling of civil, commercial, and military satellites as well as the rearming of military space weapons platforms. The OCV is fitted with a medium power high-energy laser system for limited defense and counterspace missions.

Satellite Bodyguards A small constellation of defensive satellites (approximately five) placed in close proximity to the protected asset. "Hunter-killers" actively seek out threats and incapacitate them with directed energy weapons. Detection of threats from the surface or air is done by an off-board sensor suite (say, systems 8.1 or 8.2) and supplied to the "hunter-killer" satellites. Detection of space-based threats is done by the "hunter-killer" satellites themselves. Decoy satellites appear identical (both electromagnetic and visual) to the protected assets to confuse an aggressor; when approached, the decoy can impact and disable the enemy craft.

Piloted SSTO Transatmospheric Vehicle A system that provides space support and global reach from the earth's surface to low-earth orbit (LEO) using a combination of rocket and hypersonic air-breathing technology. The transatmospheric vehicle (TAV) takes off vertically, is refuelable in either air or space, and can land on a conventional runway. It has a variable payload capacity (up to 10,000 pounds) and performs as both a sensor and weapons platform. Alternate missions include satellite deployment and retrieval from LEO and deployment of an anti-ASAT weapon.

Uninhabited Air-Launched Transatmospheric Vehicle A multirole transatmospheric vehicle (TAV). Launched from an airborne platform (such as System 1.1), it is capable of rapid deployment (or retrieval) of satellites providing communication links, intelligence information, and so forth. It carries a suite of multispectral sensors (optical, infrared, radar, laser, etc.) for surveillance and reconnaissance missions. This TAV is a rocket-powered vehicle approximately the size of an F-15, capable of carrying several small satellites (6 ft x 6 ft x 6 ft, 1000 lbs each) to low earth orbit. Further, it could perform an antisatellite (ASAT) role. This TAV can land on a conventional runway.

Adjustable Yield Munition (AYM) An approach to achieve precise matching of the weapon's effect to the target's characteristics. By manipulating the explosive yield of a weapon (i.e., "dial-a-yield"), together can greatly reduce collateral damage. This is particularly advantageous when flexibility and precision are both required: a platform on patrol, awaiting targets of opportunity, can utilize the same weapon for a hard kill with a large yield or for a surgical, mission-only kill with a tailored yield. One approach to controlling the yield is to change the material composition of the explosive at the molecular level.

Advanced Air-to-Air Missile A long range air-to-air missile that receives real-time target information from off-board sensors and utilizes reactive jets and an on-board computer to acquire, pursue and destroy enemy air assets, including cruise missiles. Terminal tracking and guidance may employ a combination of LIDAR, Infrared (IR), radio frequency (RF), magnetic anomaly detection (MAD), Jet engine modulation (JEM), photographic, and acoustic sensors.

Airborne High-Power Microwave Weapon A pulsed power airborne high power microwave (HPM) system. This medium range weapons system constitutes the primary payload of the host escort defense aircraft. The system generates variable magnitude HPM fields that disrupt or destroy electrical components in the target region. It can engage both air and ground targets.

Standoff Hypersonic Missile An hypersonic air-to-ground missile launched from a hypersonic strike vehicle (System 1.1). It utilizes a scramjet to propel itself at Mach 8 toward the intended high-value target, then glides to target at Mach 4; its flight trajectory is altered as needed via off-board control. Its high-speed air-launched range is 1,450 NM.

Attack Microbots A term that describes a class of highly miniaturized (1 millimeter scale) electromechanical systems being deployable en masse and performing individual or collective target attack. Various deployment approaches are possible, including dispersal as an aerosol, transportation by a larger platform, and full flying/crawling autonomy. Attack is accomplished by a variety of robotic effectors, electromagnetic measures, or energetic materials. Some "sensor microbot" capabilities are required for target acquisition and analysis
Airborne Holographic Projector A projector system that displays a three-dimensional visual image in a desired location, removed from the display generator. The projector can be used for psychological operations and strategic perception management. It is also useful for optical deception and cloaking, providing a momentary distraction when engaging an unsophisticated adversary.

Hybrid High-energy Laser System (HHELS) A system consisting of several ground-based, multimegawatt high-energy chemical lasers and a constellation of space-based mirrors. HHELS can be used in several modes of operation. In its weapons mode with the laser at high power, it engages air, space, and ground targets by reflecting a laser beam off one or more of the mirrors to the intended target. It can also be used for target tracking, limited space debris removal (1-10 centimeter objects), and replenishment of satellites.

Global Area Strike System (GLASS) A system incorporating of a high-energy laser (HEL) system, a kinetic energy weapon (KEW) system, and a transatmospheric vehicle (TAV). The HEL system consists of ground-based lasers and space-based mirrors which direct energy to the intended target. The KEW system (System 6.2) consists of terminally guided projectiles, with and without explosive enhancers. The TAV (System 4.1) is a flexible platform capable of supporting maintenance and replenishment of the HEL and KEW space assets, and can also be used for rapid deployment of special operations forces. Target definition and sequencing is managed externally (e. g., using GIMS (System 8.1)).

Space-Based Kinetic Energy Weapon (KEW) A general class of low earth orbit (LEO) based weapons that include a variety of warhead types from flechettes and pellets to large and small high density rods. The KEW may be directed at air, space, and ground targets; it achieves its destructive effect by penetrating the target at hypervelocity. Sensor information is provided to the KEW by a main sensor suite off-board of the vehicle (such as GSRT [System 8.2] or GIMS [System 8.1]). However, each armament has a minimal sensor capability (e. g., GPS receiver) and a simple flight control system for maneuver.

Space-Based High Power Microwave Weapon (HPM) A weapon system capable of engaging ground, air, and space targets with a varying degree of lethality. It consists of a constellation of satellites deployed in low-earth orbit (LEO) (approx. 500 NM) that can direct an ultrawideband (UWB) of microwave energy at ground, air, and space targets. Its effect is to generate high electric fields over a target area tens to hundreds of meters in size, thereby disrupting or destroying any electronic components present.

Space-Based High-energy Laser (HEL) System A multimegawatt high-energy chemical laser constellation that can be used in several modes of operation. In its weapons mode with the laser at high power, it can attack ground, air, and space targets. Asteroid Mitigation System A system that protects the Earth/Moon system from Earth- crossing objects (ECOs) by either deflecting or fragmenting ECOs such that they no longer pose a threat. Deflection could be accomplished using nuclear explosive devices.

Spoken Language Translator A hand-held or worn device that translates oral communications in near real-time. It enhances multinational operational effectiveness in all areas, including training, diplomacy, special operations, and conventional ground operations. It is capable of one-for-one word substitution in a wide variety of languages, and it provides two-way communications between the owner and another person. The system has a limited ability to compensate for differences in sentence syntactic structures, cultures, dialects, and idioms/slang, and a limited ability to select words according to context. Careful placement of both microphones and both speakers is required for deconfliction (not having to hear both languages simultaneously), limiting the scope of its operation; the system is best suited for controlled two-way communications such as by telephone, radio, or computer. The system also is useful for written text translation.

Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) An individual's connection to the information systems of 2020. This assistant is a hand-held or wristwatch size unit. Input modes include both touch and voice. The PDA is the warrior's secure, high-capacity connection to the distributed C4I system. The PDA maintains the owner's personal data such as medical and training records. It learns and remembers the owner's preferences and needs so that requests for information are properly tailored. It is self-securing: it recognizes the owner through a number of biometrics which ensures that it cannot be commandeered. In short, the PDA is a single device replaces the cellular telephone, radio, personal computer, identification and banking cards, and any other personal information- management device of the nineties.

Virtual Interaction Center A virtual reality environment in which commanders can immerse themselves in a three-dimensional representation of the battlespace. Information from a global information system, such as GIMS (System 8.1) is displayed in a virtual reality environment, giving the commander situational awareness. The center also has the capability to replay battles and engagements and to simulate "what if" scenarios.

Global Information Management System (GIMS) A pervasive network of intelligent information gathering, processing, analysis, and advisory nodes. It collects, stores, analyzes, fuses, and manages information from ground/air/space sensors and all source intelligence. All types of sensors (i.e., acoustic, optical, radio frequency, olfactory, etc.) are used. However, the true power of this system is its use of neural processing to provide the right type of information based on the user's personal requirements.

Global Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting System (GSRT) A space-based omnisensorial collection, processing, and dissemination system to provide a real-time information database. This database is used to create a virtual-reality image of the area of interest. This image can be used at all levels of command to provide situational awareness, technical and intelligence information, and two-way command and control.

Sensor Microbots A class of highly miniaturized (millimeter sized) electromechanical air and ground systems capable of being deployed en masse to collect data, perform individual and collective data fusion, and communicate that data for further processing and distribution. Various deployment approaches are possible, including dispersal as an aerosol, transportation by a larger platform, and full flying/crawling autonomy. Data collection is accomplished through miniaturized onboard sensors, typically restricted to one or two sensors per unit due to size and power limitations. Communications are possible by transmission through relay stations ("relaybots") or physical collection of the microbots. Some applications of sensor microbots are security net to guard own assets, surveillance and reconnaissance, and intelligence gathering on adversary assets.

Multiband Laser Sensor System A suite of laser devices that inspects and models target components. Different frequencies of electromagnetic energy vary in their ability to penetrate materials. For a particular material, one frequency will reflect off the surface, another will penetrate. By employing a suite of laser devices over a wide frequency range, planners can accomplish complete internal and external inspection of a structure and develop a full three-dimensional model. This tool can be used for nondestructive inspection of components, target vulnerability analysis, target identification and decoy rejection, and reconnaissance. This suite of laser devices can be carried on an airborne platform, but it clearly has ground-based applications also.

Asteroid Detection System A network of ground and space sensors which search for, track, and characterize space objects that are large enough and in an orbit to threaten the earth-moon system. The system also includes a centralized processing center that fuses data from all of the available sensors, catalogs the known objects, and distributes information to the known authorities.

Mobile Asset Repair Station (MARS) A mobile facility near the battlefront where parts can be repaired or manufactured . In wartime, replacement parts are repaired or manufactured in the theater of operations for a variety of deployed weapon systems through MARS. The mobile facility can be land-based or water-based in the theater of operations, but out of harm's way. The facility features a set of fully-integrated flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) and robotic systems that are linked to the commercial manufacturers. These manufacturers supply the specifications to the FMS which then produces the part or component. Many of the required materials necessary for MARS to manufacture the components obtained from local countries.

Weather Analysis and Modification System A diverse set of weather prediction and modification tools that allows manipulation of small-to-medium-scale weather phenomena to enhance friendly-force capabilities and degrade those of the adversary. Many of the sensors required for this system are assumed to be external e. g., part of the global information management system (GIMS), discussed in System 8.1.

Sanctuary Base A secure, low observable, all-weather forward-operating base that reduces the number of assets requiring protection from attack. The runway, power systems, ordnance storage, aircraft maintenance assets, and C4I systems are self-maintaining and self-repairing. Base security is highly automated. Chemical/ biological hazards are cleaned up by nanobots and biotechnology. Robots perform refueling, weapons loading, maintenance, security, and explosive ordnance destruction.

Umm....wow...

Since this is WWIII and as we all predict it will be a hostile nuclear war, that will be very damaging. The ability of your US forces are way past MT and anything that can be made by 2020 without lots of funding and a budget bigger then the entire UN put together, and after a war to.

Hypersonic Attack Aircraft - This one is kinda ok, I know they are planning to have one at Mach 10. Though this technology seems a little stretched. Basically nothing except a laser can hit it.

FotoFighter - Laser tracking of targets, very interesting and probable. Only problem is that is it a new aircraft or a modified old one. New production aircraft like the F-22 Raptor has technology 10 years old already, but is still considered the best air supremecy fighter/bomber. Clarify please, F/A-22 would make an EXCELLENT choice since the technology exists. ($10-20 mil upgrades I would expect only to)

Container Aircraft - A very interesting idea, though geometry is kinda against it unless it is bulky. Problem would be the wiring and everything, since the entire plane has to be re-BUILT every time. Folding wings and a compacted center would be a better idea with latched armor panels. No mess and all in the same 20ft by 20ft box standardly. (Stackable planes, and bunkers all in one!) (Bunker parts can be added, or cut into, with panels to come down and lock for protection during shipping) Clarify the size and aircraft and its good to go!

Lighter-than-Air Airlifter - Umm...ya, I don't think this is possible. You are saying it can lift basically 5000 tons on 12500 NM range. Size, fuel and space limits would ruin this plane, it should snap into before it gets off a specially made airfield. Maybe you would like to compare to the C-141B Starlifter, another large aircraft. Cargo planes are rarely redone as they don't change too much over the decades. Supersonic Airlifter - Another good idea, with little backing it. Why would you spend hundreds of millions of dollars to try and BUILD a supersonic cargo plane? The stress and size limits would be dangerous. The sonic boom would also be deafening because of the sheer size. A smaller object creates less 'boom' then a giant cargo plane with jet engines. (Engine numbers would be high too because of the weight, fighters only need one and that is alot of weight for the aircraft.)

Stealth Airlifter - Supersonic has a boom, that alone at low levels is bad to Covert OPs. Also low flying doesn't keep it stealth from heat or visual targeting systems. Better to use the Commanche helicopter, stealth and no airfield needed. Easy extraction. Also precise firepower can knock out enemy bunkers and convoys from long ranges. Commanches exist, but the program was cut cause of a few reasons, since the tech and models exist after or before WWIII they can be mass produced.

Global Transport Aircraft - Good idea, except range is way too high, allow mid-air refueling and it is fine. Similar to current cargo planes, but capable of deploying in mid-air.

Strike UAV - Easily possible, but to have more weapons means more weight. More weight means more power needed and more fuel or power consumed. UAV's for recon are light and cheap, but can't defend themselves. A small attack version can be possible, but it cannot patrol for a full day do to weight.

Reconnaissance UAV - Kinda answered in the above. Though this would be your 24-hour battery powered or maybe even hydrogen powered eye in the sky. (They are kinda low alt. not high in terms of aircraft)

Uninhabited Combat Air Vehicle - A good idea, but the technology for it is too close to the Strike UAV. Fuel problems and weight would make it probably not last a full day for an attack weapon. (Besides you don't hover over your target for up to a full day before letting loose...) I'd say pick the Strike UAV and just use that.

Precision Delivery System - Ya...you might just want to have a Strike UAV-B or something for this, but current systems are accurate enough for this to be a must in combat. Just more equipment that you have to lug to the battle only to have another UAV do it just as well.

UAV Mothership - A good idea, though for it to operate completely well it needs lots of sunlight....Maybe you should just use a space-based solar collecter and transmit energy in mircowave form, this way it is smaller and has an infinite power supply, but limited weapons storage. To refill UAV power packs, use batteries and not hydrogen fuel cells, the Mothership and UAV can then recharge them and switch again.

Exfiltration Rocket - umm...not much of a comment, but wtf. G-forces would be quite high and if people are injured this could seriously hurt them further. A bad idea for covert ops. Also assembly means wasted time. I'd use a Commanche for extraction. (Also capable of holding HVA and other 'devices')

Orbital Maneuvering Vehicle - Possible, but expensive. As for re-arming, VERY VERY dangerous with missiles, WMD's and other weapons. Nuclear missiles or otherwise would be too risky for most to OK this project.

Satellite Bodyguards - The UN or other nations will consider this as a hostile act, space-based weapons are generally bad enough, but protecting them with 'bodyguards' will raise concerns about what will go up with them. Possiblity exists of using these as keys to destroy other satellites by hacking into them.

Uninhabited Air-Launched Transatmospheric Vehicle - If its the size of an F-15 how can it deploy 6' cubed satellites that weigh half a ton each? Fuel and size kinda go against this. It would need to be larger with one function at a time. Preferrably a different model to deploy satellites.


Attack Microbots - Umm....I doubt this will be possible by 2020, Its very small and even some of our best circuits and future work (Transistors the size of a single atom), seems like it will be a long way off before these can be produced properly, reliably and controlled with such small instruments. Power concerns are also needed to be addressed.

Same goes with all nano bots and spy bots of this size.

Spoken Language Translator - A japanese company is already using this (medical info), but slang and accents are problematic and need to be carefully able to understand the concept and way of the language. English seems doubtful to be able to have this, as our language has many parts of other languages into our own and weird spellings and meanings. Two, to, too. As an example.

Lastly...all the satellite platforms with various weapons, not a good idea. Stick with one type and remember that space-based weapons are almost asking for a war. Since this is captured technology, I don't see how you could afford to do all this and have it be completed by WWIII. Since no plans exist to make giant death lasers in space.

The Asteroid thing is my last little comment. Nuclear weapons in space...not good. If one of those rockets malfunctioned the results would be chaotic, using nuclear weapons to also blow and asteroid off-course requires a large force and careful planning, not to mention using it very early on.

As to Yderia's stuff and Kjata's reply - since this earth is based on the fact that society as a whole collapsed on a world wide basis in 2008-2010, and we are only just now emerging from the shadows of a nuclear war and attempting to rebuild, I think no one should have anything that doesn't exist in RL to start with - they can develop stuff in the future, but to start off as we rebuild, we need to be limited to existing stuff and issues about rebuilding and re-establishing trade need to take priority over war weapons - look and my and Texarkania's and Kjata's posts - I'm trying to expand oil production, Texarkania is trying to rebuild his infra-structure, both have minor military strengths. Kjata is still fighting off civil unrest and terrorists as he tries to consolidate control. We need to RP the rebuild of the world before we invest in Uber Weapons and their possibilities.

As much as I would like to attend a meeting, my power doesn't stretch into the southern hemisphere that much. Though I could send along one of my generals, though no such things need be done.

Let's create the Pacific Alliance. It will be similar to the European Union, EU.

As such I've come up with a few rules and guidelines for each of us to follow.

1. No international money issues. One currency for our nations, to make business matters easier and also feel unified. One side from your nation, the other side from Kjata. A strong currency will be ensured as Kjata is currently tax-free and our money is stronger then the American Dollar!

2. Same legal guidelines for criminals. If one of your criminals is caught in Kjata, said person commiting no crime in Kjata that is, shall be shipped back to hold trial in Mauiwowee. If said person commits a crime in Kjata and Mauiwowee, they shall be first tried on the first crime in either nation and then be shipped to the other for another trial.

3. Joint military operations. One nation attacks or even an alliance, the other MUST declare war and send forces to aid the other. Since this is a two-way alliance Kjata wishes to stay with a tight alliance and not long alliance chains. Military operations for attacking other nations; both nations attack together and will rule over the area taken together as a joint effort. If one nation attacks alone they can take the area for themselves, but if they are forced out will not be covered in chance of invasion by said country. Though by all means it will be supportive in protecting and jointly attacking a neutral or nation(s) together.

4. Each nations military can remain seperate, but should be able to train together. Though military training is not required it is supportive to train with other units and teams to gain trust and experience.

5. Each nation shall share technology and even go as far as sending over working models of weapons and military or other defensive weapons. Though if it is 'Covert Ops' listed such matters are not needed to be shared, but also supportive.

6. Reshaping the vast deserts of Australia into large farms and cities for growing large amounts of food. A water network will be constructed by Kjata and farms can be operated by Mauiwowie. (All water will be purified sea water, pumped into the water grid and reserves, the sea salt that will be extracted can be used to dry meats or used in food. Will be free of charge for both nations to use as another symbol of working together.)

7. Offshore Oilrigs and oil wells will produce oil from Kjata Major plants for Mauiwowie use at a standard $20 a barrel. Another pipeline will be constructed to send the oil directly to Mauiwowie.

8. Clean power plants and other green technologies should be jointly created and installed in Mauiwowie and Kjata Major.

9. Meetings can be called to discuss issues and changes or new ideas at any time. By either nation; in peacetime or wartime.

10. No WMD warfare or chemical, biological warfare. These measures are environmentally destructive to the land and should never be used. Possession of such weapons is allowed, but using them will be seen of inhumane warfare.

OOC: It seems like the nations are forming alliances on regional basis really, sometimes you want an economical one also. Creating an alliance also means having to back your ally in wartime.

Mauiwowie and Kjata are part of an economic, military and regional alliance, covering the North and South Hemispheres.

Just remember your allies and be good to them, cause sometimes alliances don't last if you aren't friendly to one another.

Yesterday at midnight, a newly constructed naval yard was active as can be. Inside a giant dock, that looks much like a giant hangar a weird sound was heard.

The sound of giant machines spinning and whirring could be heard miles away. Something had spurred to life. A massive ship perhaps is being held within the dock. The structure is over 700 feet wide and 2000 ft long. Constructed much like a hangar it is impossible to sea what is occuring inside.

Recently large military trucks have been seen, bringing pipes of over six meters wide to the naval base. Massive refrigeration machines have been spotted enterring the base. An influx of thousands upon thousands workers continue to work on this unseen ship. These workers LIVE at this naval base.

Each passing day more equipment is seen carried into the naval base, none leaving, but each day at around midnight, if you listen real carefully, you can hear the sounds of a massive object slipping into the depths of the water. The area around the base is a no-fly zone.

However a 'lost' news copter flew over a nearby area at dusk and noticed something strange. Past this northern naval base, there is a small island, which has disappeared from the face of the Earth! The Habomai Islands northern most island has dissappeared. Though the area appears strange if you were to fly over it.....the water seems to not flow. Though the military will not allow anyone to enter this region, it is obvious something is happening on the Habomai Island.

President Viogot agreed that Helnacht would join the Commonwealth as a full partner. He hoped the economic prosperity would arise from this alliance and expressed his wishes og good will to the other national leaders.

He also annoucned the Helnacht would begin re-building the rail networks and add new rails to connect the entire nation together by train. Said train will be steam-driven to conserve fuel for the military.

Umm....wow...

Since this is WWIII and as we all predict it will be a hostile nuclear war, that will be very damaging. The ability of your US forces are way past MT and anything that can be made by 2020 without lots of funding and a budget bigger then the entire UN put together, and after a war to.

Hypersonic Attack Aircraft - This one is kinda ok, I know they are planning to have one at Mach 10. Though this technology seems a little stretched. Basically nothing except a laser can hit it.

FotoFighter - Laser tracking of targets, very interesting and probable. Only problem is that is it a new aircraft or a modified old one. New production aircraft like the F-22 Raptor has technology 10 years old already, but is still considered the best air supremecy fighter/bomber. Clarify please, F/A-22 would make an EXCELLENT choice since the technology exists. ($10-20 mil upgrades I would expect only to)

Container Aircraft - A very interesting idea, though geometry is kinda against it unless it is bulky. Problem would be the wiring and everything, since the entire plane has to be re-BUILT every time. Folding wings and a compacted center would be a better idea with latched armor panels. No mess and all in the same 20ft by 20ft box standardly. (Stackable planes, and bunkers all in one!) (Bunker parts can be added, or cut into, with panels to come down and lock for protection during shipping) Clarify the size and aircraft and its good to go!

Lighter-than-Air Airlifter - Umm...ya, I don't think this is possible. You are saying it can lift basically 5000 tons on 12500 NM range. Size, fuel and space limits would ruin this plane, it should snap into before it gets off a specially made airfield. Maybe you would like to compare to the C-141B Starlifter, another large aircraft. Cargo planes are rarely redone as they don't change too much over the decades. A slightly larger one is possible I would say by 2015, though the size would impose huge limits to get 5000 ton LIFTING power. (http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/c-141.htm)

Supersonic Airlifter - Another good idea, with little backing it. Why would you spend hundreds of millions of dollars to try and BUILD a supersonic cargo plane? The stress and size limits would be dangerous. The sonic boom would also be deafening because of the sheer size. A smaller object creates less 'boom' then a giant cargo plane with jet engines. (Engine numbers would be high too because of the weight, fighters only need one and that is alot of weight for the aircraft.)

Stealth Airlifter - Supersonic has a boom, that alone at low levels is bad to Covert OPs. Also low flying doesn't keep it stealth from heat or visual targeting systems. Better to use the Commanche helicopter, stealth and no airfield needed. Easy extraction. Also precise firepower can knock out enemy bunkers and convoys from long ranges. Commanches exist, but the program was cut cause of a few reasons, since the tech and models exist after or before WWIII they can be mass produced.

Global Transport Aircraft - Good idea, except range is way too high, allow mid-air refueling and it is fine. Similar to current cargo planes, but capable of deploying in mid-air.

Strike UAV - Easily possible, but to have more weapons means more weight. More weight means more power needed and more fuel or power consumed. UAV's for recon are light and cheap, but can't defend themselves. A small attack version can be possible, but it cannot patrol for a full day do to weight.

Reconnaissance UAV - Kinda answered in the above. Though this would be your 24-hour battery powered or maybe even hydrogen powered eye in the sky. (They are kinda low alt. not high in terms of aircraft)

Uninhabited Combat Air Vehicle - A good idea, but the technology for it is too close to the Strike UAV. Fuel problems and weight would make it probably not last a full day for an attack weapon. (Besides you don't hover over your target for up to a full day before letting loose...) I'd say pick the Strike UAV and just use that.

Precision Delivery System - Ya...you might just want to have a Strike UAV-B or something for this, but current systems are accurate enough for this to be a must in combat. Just more equipment that you have to lug to the battle only to have another UAV do it just as well.

UAV Mothership - A good idea, though for it to operate completely well it needs lots of sunlight....Maybe you should just use a space-based solar collecter and transmit energy in mircowave form, this way it is smaller and has an infinite power supply, but limited weapons storage. To refill UAV power packs, use batteries and not hydrogen fuel cells, the Mothership and UAV can then recharge them and switch again.

Exfiltration Rocket - umm...not much of a comment, but wtf. G-forces would be quite high and if people are injured this could seriously hurt them further. A bad idea for covert ops. Also assembly means wasted time. I'd use a Commanche for extraction. (Also capable of holding HVA and other 'devices')

Orbital Maneuvering Vehicle - Possible, but expensive. As for re-arming, VERY VERY dangerous with missiles, WMD's and other weapons. Nuclear missiles or otherwise would be too risky for most to OK this project.

Satellite Bodyguards - The UN or other nations will consider this as a hostile act, space-based weapons are generally bad enough, but protecting them with 'bodyguards' will raise concerns about what will go up with them. Possiblity exists of using these as keys to destroy other satellites by hacking into them.

Uninhabited Air-Launched Transatmospheric Vehicle - If its the size of an F-15 how can it deploy 6' cubed satellites that weigh half a ton each? Fuel and size kinda go against this. It would need to be larger with one function at a time. Preferrably a different model to deploy satellites.


Attack Microbots - Umm....I doubt this will be possible by 2020, Its very small and even some of our best circuits and future work (Transistors the size of a single atom), seems like it will be a long way off before these can be produced properly, reliably and controlled with such small instruments. Power concerns are also needed to be addressed.

Same goes with all nano bots and spy bots of this size.

Spoken Language Translator - A japanese company is already using this (medical info), but slang and accents are problematic and need to be carefully able to understand the concept and way of the language. English seems doubtful to be able to have this, as our language has many parts of other languages into our own and weird spellings and meanings. Two, to, too. As an example.

Lastly...all the satellite platforms with various weapons, not a good idea. Stick with one type and remember that space-based weapons are almost asking for a war. Since this is captured technology, I don't see how you could afford to do all this and have it be completed by WWIII. Since no plans exist to make giant death lasers in space.

The Asteroid thing is my last little comment. Nuclear weapons in space...not good. If one of those rockets malfunctioned the results would be chaotic, using nuclear weapons to also blow and asteroid off-course requires a large force and careful planning, not to mention using it very early on.

-The "Cargo Planes are not often redone:" bit: Well, let's do a rundown. C-5 has already had two refits, the C-130 is in it's "J" model, the Starlifter he mentions is already in its "B" form... They change all the time.

-His points about the UAV mothership: Don't do the microwave idea. Simple as that. The project came around in the 70's. and died partly because of extreme maintenance costs (Which kinda defeats the purpose of the UAV.) and extreme power loss. Also, is you plan on using UAV's with fuel cells only to power the avionics, etc, by all means go for it. Some of these things have months of power.
If you want my advice, scrap the idea for now. The last time the US military tried this kind of thing was in the 50's and 60's with the B-36, and it's little fighter escort. Problems included, recovery of the plane, handling problems due to the mothership's vortexes and a host of other issues. In short, launching is fine, but don't try to recover in mid air.

Based on technologic increases you could have a Mircowave Power Plant by this year! So why not simply transmit power from the satellite to the UAV mothership. Third, recovery, yes this is quite hard, but 15 years of computer advancements and the AI could just link up and automatically perform this complex operation with the Mothership guiding it. Its possible, if we can refuel in midair you can load a miniture plane with new batteries and weapons. The systems for it would be slightly more complex, but if it was like a 'snap-on' feature it could be really easy.

I wish I could be so lucky. I have been researching as far back as WWII technology to use for Kjata Major. Technical types A-H have been done and a series of vehicles and tanks. Gonna be a mess until my nations gets started.

Ya. I am going to actually make a seperate thread, it would be too abusive on this thread.

I would personally go with ships at this time. The technology of the world doesn't seem like its up to speed, producing more ships and gaining control of the world would be a good idea. Produce maybe five aircraft carriers and use F/A-22's to do most of the work. Mop up the resistance with some Abrams and your done. Gain back the lost ground and protect your area!

As much as I would like to attend a meeting, my power doesn't stretch into the southern hemisphere that much. Though I could send along one of my generals, though no such things need be done.

Let's create the Pacific Alliance. It will be similar to the European Union, EU.

As such I've come up with a few rules and guidelines for each of us to follow.

1. No international money issues. One currency for our nations, to make business matters easier and also feel unified. One side from your nation, the other side from Kjata. A strong currency will be ensured as Kjata is currently tax-free and our money is stronger then the American Dollar!

If one nation attacks alone they can take the area for themselves, but if they are forced out will not be covered in chance of invasion by said country. Though by all means it will be supportive in protecting and jointly attacking a neutral or nation(s) together.
OK, the defensive part - an attack on one is an attack on both and military aid is mandatory, agreed. Joint operations and conquests with joint rule - each invasion by either of us into another neutral or non-neutral nation should be discussed on a case-by-case basis and the outcome agreed upon before the attack. There may be instances I'm willing to assist you invade somewhere or vice-versa, but where I have no interest in assuming any direct control since once under you control, as an ally, I'll be able to trade for anything I need from the area and vice-versa. There may be other times when joint control is called for. There may also be times when you or I want territory, but do not wish joint control for some reason - so lets deal with invasions by us into other territory as the need to invade arises.

4. Each nations military can remain seperate, but should be able to train together. Though military training is not required it is supportive to train with other units and teams to gain trust and experience.Joint training of the military is a good idea, agreed.

Not quite agreeable - it is our intention to re-unify Australia under our rule as a single nation. We will gladly pay the costs associated with the irrigation project, but accept your assistance in the project. Food, etc. coming out of the project would be sold between us in the normal course of trade and commerce. Agreed. I suggest a CUN International Airport in each member nation's capital. Also railway infostructure, toll-free motorways (and bridges, where applicable). Also freedom to pass though ports without hinderance is also important for Island member nations

Agreed. But a reasonable amount. The full miltary might of one nation must require the permission from the CUN Council to assist another nation, and turn the tide of a major war. Is that acceptable?

Agreed. But some items may require hinderance, ie drugs which may be illegal in one nation, yet not in another. Possibly also tobacco and alcohol

First Female General Takes Command in Kjata Major

A beautiful woman in her early 20's has taken the third seat on Kjata's General list. Her long blue-hair is supposively natura as she is the product of genetic engineering projects started early in Kjata. Said to be merciless in battle and ingenius about her plans, she would soon become the top general with her superior skills at this rate.

The military ceremony was performed by the Opera sounding song of Adiemus by Adiemus. It was a beautiful song that went right with the mood of it.

The general first was blessed by the priests and given a medallion to signify her status.

Then she lit the candles to pray to her past ancestors and military leaders of path for strength.

The next part was her dancing beautifully to the music with a ceremonial staff to call upon the strength of her body for the trials to come

The candles turned into a blaze and engulfed her in a ring of fire, though she hold true and as the flames died it could be seen she was untouched and unafraid, thus completeing her spiritual test.

Her physical test was to pull the mighty sword Balmung from a tree, which of legend was placed by Odin in a tree and the one to pulled it out would be destined to win in battle. As she pulled it out a cheer went up from the crowds of soldiers as the sword was nearly impossible to pull out when they had tried. She rose it high in the air and with great speed slammed it back into the tree and was cheered for having proved her future and physical test.

She unsheathed her own sword, a Colichemarde. Thus completing the ceremony and becoming the nation's first female general. She was given a loud applause and cheers before she smiled and saluted the mighty Ryo and Toji before leaving to attend a meeting.

A squadron of F/A-22's flew overhead and left trails of red and white behind with sparkling bits of paper. In the camp the sound of at least fifty tanks firing at once. To show support for the new General.

As Kjata Major engaged the G.M. fleet, he signaled the start of a conflict. King Rox reviewed the day's reports - it looked like the oil crunch would shortly be relieved - a treaty had been signed with Kjata and an offer extended to Texarkania that they would be fools to reject. The rail project was going nicely with fully 40% of the rails now running on a fully electric basis. Manufacturing was beginning to pick up and he would soon be able to fully equip the standing army. Construction of additional ships was coming along, albeit slowly. Aircraft production was beggining and a new model of air craft - the Dingo showed promise. A new government, nationwide computer network was in place and the ID'ing of citizens had begun. A group of people had put together an oil company locally and begun to explore how to re-open the oil wells that had been destroyed in the collapse and get the domestic oil flowing again. Hmm, perhaps Texarkania should be approached regarding technology and oil drilling expertise. They seemed to be in good shape on that front. King Rox sat back. He could see alight at the end of the tunnel, that was something he hadn't been able to see at all just a few years ago.

I am not sure whether I'd be able to join this Earth. I'd like to set up shop in Brazil, but apparently, I won't be able to fit Brazil into the 1 million square kilometer claim.

I need to know if the limit will be removed once the period of expansion and warfare begins? I'd love to establish a Meso-American Empire, like the Aztecs, Maya, and Inca of old. :)

The massive ship slipped out of the covers. Like a massive super-carrier, no Pykrete could be seen. To any eye it looked like a massive steel block. Helicopters flooded the deck. A large naval crew was landed on the aircraft carrier. The people inspected the heavy armor and saw how fit it was. A massive ship that was amazingly clean and ready for service.

A large ceremony was performed on top. The celebration was to mark the largest launching of a ship. A ship that would comprise of more weight then that of entire nations combined! It was heavier then every US military aircraft carrier past the year 2006. Capable of storing over 1600 aircraft and defending itself from attacks by sea, land and air it was a fortress.

The ship was also launched on the same day of General Minerva's birthday and day of becoming a General. As a birthday present for her. Assembled in two years it was an amazing accomplishment that revolutionized the ideas of Pykrete as being weak. Plans already in the works for the Pykrete Fleet. An inexpensive fleet of great power and low maintaince costs!

General Minerva's reaction was not broadcast, but it was said she was jumping for joy, she ran up and down on the decks for hours after that and wanted to inspect every part of the ship possible. The press missed this important sight, but the military claims that the ships abilites had to be classified to all that were released in the press document.

President Vargas was happy. He had cut a deal with Mauiwowee to get the iron and steel he needed to finish the high speed rail. Once that was in place, it would be simple to move troops, equipment, supplies, etc. around Texarkania. He could also begin a full rebuild and re-outfit of the military. Global Announcement on Earth X

The Empire of Kjata Major is annoucing the DESTRUCTION of the Pykrete Carrier Fleet.

The massive carriers which were to travel the world and deliver massive fire power have been met with thousands and thousand of problems. Some of these problems are so great and too costly that they will not be considered practical over conventional technology.

General Minerva's floating carrier is already, two times over budget. The housing for the ship and it's creation cost a massive $20 Billion. Maintaince costs are a hundred, but is still outside the realm of Kjata's funding for a fleet.

The Pykrete is potentionally unstable and is prone to Bunker Buster missiles. MOAB and other missiles have laid destruction to three of our 'prototype' models. They exploded with the force of 700 tons of TNT, the massive explosions were caused by the massive amount of fuel that goes up and continues through the superstructure. The Pykrete prevents the explosion from getting out. The pressure increased internally in the ship and the PS-01 Prototype exploded sending Pykrete raining into the sea. There was nothing left of the prototype.

Pykrete is powerful, but is not considered to be popular in the International Community because it was the first idea to actually build one of these and it wasn't recieved as well...say massive infeasible rail gun for the MT world.

Airship needed to fully load this as with supplies aren't exactly cheap. If it were to be attacked when fully loaded, Kjata Major would effectively lose a large amount of the air power.

Kjata Major already expresses discontent that such a new idea would be considered a GODMOD because it cannot sink. Kjata also hopes that the weakness revealed won't be exploited to their maximum by the Earth X nations.

Actually, I believe we are not supposed to start war RP's for a few more days, right now we're RP'ing the rebuild of our nations after the collapse and building a history as to how we came out of the collapse and what resources we have and building new alliances so when war RP's are permitted, we're ready to rock and roll. I think you'll be ok if you'll just hold off on post more about the invasion for a few days and RP some of the stuff regarding your rebuild of Brazil and the infrastructure and military you have in place. Luckily my nation already has stable oil production, food, and supplies, but is currently building new cities. The military technology is quite dated with some American and British forces mixed into our own to create new hybrid fighting machines. Still fact remains that even the vehicles themselves are a match for a tank, they are unable to take much fire.

It will be VERY interesting to see how they stack up in combat the first few times.

I was planning to give you the full details on the Pykrete vessels, hoping to make some cheap aircraft carriers. Though the problem does lie in the fact that to protect them is very very hard and expensive.

Not to mention the complete idiots who lined up to call an unsinkable ship a GODMOD. You can still put it out of comission or destroy it. It doesn't HAVE to sink immediately.

Costs are too high to modernize unless you plan to use it extremely close to the nation and for a clear use to begin with. When we start off with RPing though, that will be the hopping stone for Kjatan forces. I'll be glad it isn't no Nimitz when I hop and shoot thousands upon thousands of planes in and out of the combat area daily. No more announcing of evil plans!

I'd be willing to recognize it too if you scaled it down just a little. 1 million tons with 300 feet of "armor" and 1,000 planes is a ship so huge as to be pretty impracticable. On the other hand, an Aircraft carrier that is double, maybe even triple the size of a standard carrier - say 300,000 tons and carrying 200-250 planes - Could work and would also probably be more useful and practical in warfare.

I'd agree with it in the way that Kjata planned on using it. As more of a chain of floating islands to stage operations from, or to use as stepping stones to other areas of the world.
Kjata's design was indeed a great idea, that would be more accepted if it were scaled down some. Good work, by the way.

I'd say that Prykrete also has promise in other areas of both Military and Civilian applications. Prykrete could be used to build entire military complexes in arctic or sub-arctic environments. It could build research facilities (for those of you who like to keep your research chilled), etc, etc.

Since my nation has no territories in the far, ice-covered north, I'll probably stick to civilian applications, such as the two cruise-liners Kjata there inspired me to design...which I'm still designing. Like Kjata, this would be the first ship (or anything else NS related) I've ever designed...so wish me luck.

OOC: Mauiwowee its not 1 million tons, that was me announcing the marker had been broken. The real weight is infact 18.4 million tons. Total costs to produce was $20 billion for the project.

The 300 ft walls are solid Pykrete, which functions as the ship's 'armor' and also keeps it floating. The ship is a over a mile long, over a thousand feet long and three hundred feet long. A Nimitz carrier is smaller. It has over double the size and three times the depth. Airplanes can be stored below the decks and also on top. The thing about simply increasing the length, width and depth is to allow multiple levels of aircraft storage and in better hangars. Aircraft are held down below the surface up to 600 feet. Which gives 900 feet of storage depth!

600 feet wide, 900 feet deep and 6000 feet long. Leaving: 3,240,000,000 sq feet of space. Now from this the inner shell is made and which dramatically cuts the space down, but the flooring, and internal supports don't take up this much of this space.

Leaving ample areas for crew quarters, hangar storage, engines, reserve fuel and weapons storage. Since the ship has to be able to support nearly 50,000 people on it in terms of space requirements:

Aircraft hangars, weapons, crew quarters, engines, misc.

The ship is able to support the massive weight above by an internal Pykrete pillars that make a light arc inside and reduce the steel construction needed on the superstructure. Basically entire buildings were built off the solid Pykrete, hangars were given more support and armor protection then other areas of the ship.

Though by all means, the ship can and could easily support more aircraft, but I didn't want to push it. Since this is also going to be used as a 'hopping' point for most other aircraft I will fill it with more weapons and munitions and allow planes to land and take off after being reloaded.

The carrier is also Earth X's most strongly protected ammo dump. Just don't hit it....please.

You know I never got why Brazil never adopted the Spanish language. Today I am still a little confused as why they never adopted spanish have the rest of South America speak spanish. It would make things easier overall.

Kjata Seeks Resources

The Minister of Foreign Affairs has gone before the entire world and sent them messages with offers for nations to sell materials in nearly insane amounts. Such things are Oil, Coal, Steel, Iron, Copper, Silver, Gold, Titanium, Tungsten and Platinum. Among the top concerns are for Steel and Oil. Every nation is expected to recieve a letter, where Kjata is practically begging for scraps of metal to paying high for oil. The minister had only this to say, "Kjata is growing too fast, we need to buy materials from other nations to build our cities and ships."

Kjata Seeks Foreign Weapons
The Minister of Defense has also sent out global messages in which Kjata is calling upon the world to sell out-of-date and old vehicles to Kjata. This includes massive amounts of civilian cars and bikes. Calls for vehicles stretch as far back to World War II era vehicles. The Minister will privately converse and speak to each nation who wishes to sell to Kjata.

Kjata Seeks Trash!?
The Minister of Recycling and Conservation has sent messages to every nation seeking, trash. That's right. Kjata will take trash off the hands of any nation who does not wish to deal with it on their own. The minister had this to say, "One man's trash is another man's treasure." He has also supported that great amount of resources that are left in the common trash would be able to be picked up by new plants in Kjata and extract more material then previous models. Kjata appears to be offering a free of charge service for taking trash. Toxic Wastes and other hazardous materials will be considered in 3-5 years.

Kjata Rocket Program
Civilian projects to produce rockets have become mainstream with thousands upon thousands of rockets being launched this year at the LDRSL Festival. Pictures have been given and some information was provided at:http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=438719

Strange devices
After the completion of the Festival, in the following weeks it appeared as if there was wierd tests being performed in the hills. Large amounts of rockets had been fired and they streaked across the night skies. Over one thousand rockets are fired at once it seems. Leaving blue-white trails behind. After a point another wave launches and heads in the opposite direction and collides with the other rockets. A bright light appears in the center as the rockets destroy each other. The military however is using many different kinds of rockets, the light show every night is broadcast on televison in Kjata Major.

This constant display changes nightly and is proof of different tests. The Kjatan budget for 'Rocket Testing' is currently in excess of $5,000,000,000 for spending. Though the sheer number of rockets used and seen streaking across the skies never fails to amaze the civilians.

These rockets seem to be kill-missiles. The rockets are still produced by civilian companies with one small variation. A chip that can control the thrust and angle of rocket is being inserted in it, with a small destuctive warhead. These make very inexpensive anti-tank, anti-missile, anti-ship, anti-air, anti-troop weapons. The explosive used in the rockets appears to be C-4. Though the explosive is not confirmed yet.

Kjatan Oil Wells At Maximum
Kjata's oil production has currently been maxed out with the nearing of a pipeline to Kjata Major is seen. The sudden demand for oil has sparked off-shore oil rigs to be built. In several months, 45 off-shore oil rigs are expected to be built and tap the rest of the supplies of a diminishing oil reserve. This oil production boom is to provide Kjata with a massive amount of oil and store it in massive tanks across the nation. For an unusual reason Kjatan policy appears to be intent on drawing all remaining oil out of the region and using storing it.

Possible solution to oil crisis?
Kjata Major has hinted at a project to produce massive amounts of oil. The Minister of Foreign Affairs had nothing to comment on. The issue was raised mere days after Kjata announced the creation of 45 off-shore oil rigs, which would tap the nation's reserves to nothing. Such an action appears as a lashback at the middle east oil reserves. Though the quick fix will provide cheap oil unlike that seen anywhere else in the world for around a decade.

OOC: It's not new, but doesn't get much attention. A way of making crude oil in a matter of hours. This will allow Kjata to have an abundance of oil and products even after the world reserves run out. Screw nature! Man does in hours what it takes nature to do in millions of years!

Since the global need for oil is so high, including food, clothes, plastics, etc...that simply running out of cheap oil in the world will push costs too high to simply be economical. Then the world experiences a growth in clean technology to offshoot this. However the lack of oil will create problems. World production for oil is to cap at around the year 2020, the very time the RP starts. Meaning it will cost people alot in fuel and power from this point on. Kjata is using this knowledge to develope a massive burst of weapons and tanks that will fuel a military drive to capture large areas needed for the ability to use these plants effectively.

(Japan is small....not a good thing, America WILL be fine, but sadly....I am not in America. )

The reduce of resources is forcing Kjata into a highly militaristic imperialism state. While the rest of the Earth X nations chug away enjoying reduced, but ample oil resources.

Thus we have a strong IC need that will make Kjata more then just an enemy in Asia, but a massive Empire like Japan during WWII-era.

Metal Storm weapons are going to be used on land combat first, then ships. Airplanes expected in the near future to.

The rounds are fitted into tubes and fired then replaced. If you want to refer to this as 'tube-loading' go ahead. Even small systems can fire 4 grenades in a single pod, then you can add as many pods as you wish/need.

Then with Metal Storm technology you can vary it so that you can fire a million rounds a minute or even individually as you see fit.

You might not have gotten what meant though by the guns. ]

Now Metal Storm standard bullet pods, or whatever the term is. Seem to fire 8 bullets from each pod. This means that you can fire a million a minute, but in a 8 millionths of that second you would be out of ammo. OOPS! Now I know Metal Storm single pods cannot hit the million round speeds; collectively they can.

So now we have 8 bullet pods, and 20 pods. That's 160 rounds. Changing the speed for intercepting bullets.

A theoretical unit designed for ship defence using 20 mm calibre can have a maximum burst rate of 75,000rpm, firing 300 rounds in 0.24 seconds with the rounds separated by just 1 metre in flight and can be used to destroy an incoming (Rocket carrying passengers or instruments or a warhead) missile.

This compares with another type of missile defence system for ships that fires 12.7mm (A heavy gray-white metallic element; the pure form is used mainly in electrical applications; it is found in several ores including wolframite and scheelite) tungsten sub-calibre (A weapon that is thrown or projected) projectiles at 3,000 rpm, delivering one round on target every fiftieth of a second, with each round separated by over 20m. Now this means that the gun would be much better at destroying missiles with a much higher accuracy. 60ft between each round, or 3 ft between each round...hmm what to choose?

Turn this technology on a building and say bye-bye. It has wonderful offensive and defense power! Though individual systems need to be designed and be fitted to hold certian kinds of ammo. The fast-reloading system I am already planning on upgrading for ship-to-ship combat use.

Today, the C.C.E. collectively announced that the United Tribes of Oklahoma (Formerly, Five Civilized Tribes), will be allowed to build and maintain one Brigade amongst each Tribal Nation. As Such, Oklahoma will have 39 new Brigades dedicated to the protection of Arkanaland's main territory. This will allow the C.C.E. to focus its endeavours to protect the other Provinces which make up Arkanaland, and the C.C.E.

These Indian Brigades will fly under the flag of Arkanaland, C.C.E., Oklahoma, and their own Tribal Seal, which will make them to only Brigades with four patches on their uniforms. They will train with C.C.E. forces to allow upmost unification and desiciveness in the event of an invasion.

The reinstatement of a National Guard will eventually take place for the other Provinces, further bulking up the growing Military capabilities of Arkanaland.

Arkanaland will have to negotiate a buying strategy with the contractor involved in the large purchase, as there are other priorities at the moment.

The HMMWVs leftover from the Federals and new ones purchased for the Arkanaland military may find themselves out to pasture, or at least in reserve. Though the C.C.E. will not speak of it, leaks have given us scant information about an attempt to purchase production rights of a new Personnel carrier, that will outperform the HMMWV in most respects.

This will be the first Military vehicle to be produced within Arkanaland since the fall of the U.S., if all goes well.

2010: Collapse. "Sucession" of Oklahoma drives once Federally dependant Indian Tribes into autonomy. Thanks to seperate Law Enforcement, Healthcare, and Economic abilities granted in the Tribal Sovereignty Acts (and formation of the B.I.A.), Oklahoma's regression into Chaos was short lived. The "Five Civilized Tribes" turned into the "United Tribes of Oklahoma," which banded all 39 Tribal Nations together in support of one another.

2011: New Mexico joins Oklahoma, followed shortly thereafter by Arizona, in an attempt to ward off loyalists and to pool resources. It is this year that the first Corporations form together, in hand with the United Tribes, to rebuild Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona.

2013: Six Corporations merge into the C.C.E. (Coalition of Corporate Entities), and begin to mold the Political Landscape of "The Land Archane," otherwise known as Arkanaland. No elections are held, instead, the C.C.E. rose to power by promising a new era of Civilization within Arkanaland. Eventually foreshadowing the United Tribes of Oklahoma, although they eventually reconsile and join forces fluidly in 2016.

2014-2016: These years remain peaceful as the entense labor of rebuilding infrustructure and ratifying a Constitution begin. In this span, California and Colorado become new Provinces, and Kansas becomes a Protectorate.

2017: The reconstruction and organization of a New Arkanaland Military begins, called the Corporate Defence Initiative, or "C.D.I.," the People of Arkanaland are assured profusely that it is for all of Arkanaland...not merely Corporate Owned land.

2018: The first Divisions are organized and stationed throughout Arkanaland. Hollywood begins doing what it does best: Making movies, particularly documentaries about the formation of Arkanaland, and the fall of the U.S.

Some of this is proven true, as ReJoov-Ination has begun building Livestock Warehouses and Sluaghtering Facilities for their newest innovation to end world hunger: Six-Legged Chickens. Rumor also has it that ReJoov-Ination is studying the process of making Chimps, or even Hogs, grow as many as four livers other than their own - outside their body - for harvesting to stem the need for donor organs.

Deaths for the Generals (Yes, they do die)

General Minerva: Dies in the Pykrete carrier, she curses the enemy before a missile strikes the top of the tower, she survives, but is driven mad. Suicidally triggers the ship to explode, creates massive waves and floods the enemy nation with water. Final words, "From Hell's heart I stab at thee! Now perish for your sins!" General decides to take the enemy with her.

General Muramasa: Dies in the heat of battle, stays like a soldier and fights to the end until he his shot to death and dies later on. Empowers the army to fight back with the 'Devil's Rage'.

General Masamune: Dies in the heat of battle, consumes his final breaths to kill enemies and issue commands to his officers. Masamune perishes and the army performs a suicidal attack on the enemy.

Raijin: Inside of his Tank Fortress, dies in the flames of the ship as he controls it. The fortress burns causing his troops to make a hasty retreat in fear of the leader being killed.

Hein: Dies from his own nuclear weapon soon after take-off. It is destroyed and he is crushed. The under-funded nuclear program he tries to run is his demise. Kjata Major leaders and generals have no idea it was going on.

Lina: Her massive transport carriers are attacked while in transit. She looks out on the world as her plane slowly goes down. Her final thoughts and message call off all attacks, sets up a peace conference. General was too 'kind' for war and dies quickly.

Enyo: Much in the shadow of Minerva, she goes out in a blaze of glory as to prove that she is every bit as capable as Minerva. Has a massive break down and her malfunctioning base falls in around her. Crushed by her overconfidence.

Nike and Victoria: They are constantly together and plan everything. Siblings and commanders of the forces, their plane is shot down. They embrace and realize that war is pointless. They die together.

(Unmentioned) Leo: Has a conflict with one of his officers about his tactics and the officer pulls out her diamond sword and spars with Leo right in the base. Leo's sword breaks and he is killed by his successor, Seif.

Muramasa and Masamune are swords, most notably FF7 and FFXI.

The rest have no resemblance. Except the origins. Final Fantasy has thousands upon thousands of name refrences and I did the same thing.

I don't have FF-XI but I do have FF I through FFX-2 (the sequel to FFX). I'm not sure whether I'd be interested in playing FF-XI, as I have had some bad experiences with online MMORPGS. I had several high level characters, and when I died several times due to lag problems, I ask guilds or alliances to help me recover my gear / equipment. Guess what? n00bs looted it and refused to give the stuff back. Needless to say, I was pissed. In addition, I'm stuck with a 56k dialup modem so I have lots of lag problems with online games. This may change when I get Comcast cable in a few weeks, though.

Minerva Armor: The Roman name for Athena, the Greek goddess of war and wisdom.

Murasame: The characters are "town" (mura) and "rain" (ame). Murasame is used to define a rain that rains in small area. (Sometimes quick rain) Thus, it could mean Murasame can cause "quick blood rain". (And in some stories, Murasame is cursed. Though the leaves floating down the river will avoid the Masamune, they float right into the Murasame and get split in two.) Hiro2k elaborates: "Murasame was a swordsmith like Masamune long ago in Japan. His swords were famed for the 'bloodlust' they supposedly created in those who wielded them. One day, Murasame challenged Masamune to a competition, to prove who was the better swordsmith. He placed his finest blade into a slow-moving stream; soon after, a leaf floated slowly into the edge of the blade, and was sliced, quietly and easily, into two pieces. Afterwards, Masamune placed his blade into the same stream. He soon proved that he was the better swordsmith, as leaves seemed to avoid his blade; a proof of its holy power."
However, Aelfwine writes: "There are stories of a swordsmith named Senzo Muramasa who was supposedly an insane, but brilliant, student of Masamune, and that his swords would cause unnecessary bloodshed (Ratti, Oscar and Adele Westbrook, Secrets of the Samurai. The saga continues, though: Starzander writes: "Although I did check it out a bit and what I know is that there was no swordsmith named Murasame, it was only an imagined sword in the novel Nanso Satomi Hakkenden which was written in the 19th century by Takizawa Bakin (Kyokutei Bakin). It was a story about eight warriors that were named dogs... or something like that... check this webpage, or others."

The Japanese sword Masamune: One explanation is that there was a feudal lord named "Masamune Date" (Date (da-te) is the family name) who ruled Rikuzen (area near Sendai) around the early 1600's. He lost one of his eyes due to sickness in childhood, and he was nicknamed "Dokuganryuu Masamune" (Masamune, the one eyed dragon). Another story says that there was a blacksmith named "Masamune", and his sword was so sharp that you could drive it into the ground in a lake, and leaves that floated by would float around the Masamune due to its holy power.
Nate writes that Masamune is actually the name of a Japanese swordsmith from the 11th-12th centuries; the weapons are in display in museums. It's quite possible that the swordsmith's name is based on the legends. Dead_Duck confirms that "Masamune" refers to swords crafted by Goro Nyudo Masamune (around 1265-1358), one of the most famous Japanese swordsmiths.
Yet another piece of info, from Jordan Gruchy: "According to Japanese legend, the Masamune blade was the most powerful sword in all the world. When piercing the flesh, it would shed no blood, as the Masamune was not "bloodthirsty", which explains why no blood was shed when Sephiroth killed Aeris in FF7.

Anime, manga, video-games, all JP stuff seems to have wierd links. Like in FMA, the alchemists have names all after WWII equipment. Mustang is one of the clearly seen ones. Most are planes with the exception of Bradley. Its pretty weird, but its fun an sometimes educational on who and what the characters are at heart!

C.C.E. National News Network

Today, the C.C.E. Council has obtained the production rights of the MMPWV, a personnel transport similar to that of the HMMWV, which it is destined to replace. It offers a higher level of surviviability of Crew and Vehicle, with higher performance that doesn't lessen the adaptability of the Vehicle.

Two production facilities are to be built by June of next year, which will supply the C.D.I. forces with MMPWVs. The facilities, their locations indisclosed, will churn out between 112-150 units per day, between the two of them, thanks to extreme automation.

The complete phase-out of the HMMWV in the C.D.I. will begin in early 2013. Untill then, they will serve patrols in urban areas and borderlands. As well as recon and light escort missions.

The Priemer of Czechoslovakia informs the Confederation of Yderia that it's leader's ideas and add ons to the charter will be made later, once the charter is also signed by Helnacht, Lachenburg, and Rodenka.

In other news, military activity in Czechoslovakia has increased to alert status. No doubt, they are planning to conquer some new, squabbling land. Where is unknown, but it will happen.

King Rox read the report - it was all good. With the oil coming in from Texarkania the factories were up and running full speed and the economy was getting back on track. Better yet he could run the military. The new Dingo aircraft were outstanding and being built as fast as possible. Ferrets were also being built and the army was almost fully equipped and ready - time to begin the re-unification of Australia. Keep the Navy building, but get the army and airforce up to speed faster - they were needed more than the navy was at this point in time.

Kjatan Troops Prepare for War!

The entire Kjatan army is undergoing a complete reform under the gaze of General Minerva. Thousands of merchant ships bring in materials to Japan from all over Kjata Major.

Thousands upon thousands B-52 bombers have been seen flying over the skies of Kjata, performing conventional bombing runs.

Sightings of KRPG have been seen. A scaled up version of the RPG that is capable of destroying larger targets with more force.

Naval warships like the speedy Bora-class are being produced in the many Naval yards. General Minerva has ordered 300 of these light vessels. At least 150 will be delivered before the opening of the war.

A mixture of F/A-22's have been seen flying with recent low-tech cheap fighter/bombers like MiG-15. This means really one thing, Kjata Major needs more planes. Thousands upon thousands of the cheap MiG-15 have been already produced. They expect the number to rise to 20,000 planes before the start of the war. B-52's remain in only 2,000s. Given the short range of the MiG-15 it hints at General Minerva's plans.

Naval Battleships are being completed already, though the number is a mere 12 battleships, a far cry from General Minerva's 26 that was wanted.

OOC: Ya its not a reason, but I been saying this for two weeks I'd bomb and attack him. He's had ample time to repair yet has posted nothing. So it might be just considered open. Gonna TG him though.

All was well in Texarkania - R. J. Hewing had been dispatched to the conference regarding alliances in the Americas, the oil was flowing. Iron and steel were coming in from Mauiwowee. The naval yard was building a navy and the airforce and army were in top condition. Tanks and APV's were needed, but they were being built - the border was holding thanks to the massive troop strength along it. The High speed rail project was humming with the major southern leg out of El Paso connected now. The push would be large, sudden and major when it happened and likely a surprise to their neighbors to the north.

Kjata Major Declares War on Hitler the Nazi!

Thousands of bombers were already in the skies when Kjata announced to the world on television that Hitler the Nazi has been oppressing the people of Korea and will they will be freed from the current situation of the Western Oppressor. This cry was for Hitler the Nazi's lack of interest into fix the acquired lands after WWIII, with Kjata Major's imperalism spurring the nation forward they expect to have a complete victory over Korea in days.

The bombers will arrive over the designated targets. The B-52 flying fortresses are meeting up with a small amount of F/A-22 to protect them during the operation.

President Vargas looked at the final reports - the time was now or never. He picked up the telephone and punched in a few numbers - "NOW!" he said. With that, other phones were dialed and signals broadcast. Within an hour the full scale invasion had begun.

First, seemingly innocent barges suddenly swung toward shore in Blytheville, West Memphis and Helena, Arkansas and over 30,000 troops began to unload at each location - fully armed and equipped - it was ground war. 4 Barges slammed the bridges in Memphis and Blytheville causing them to collapse - no help from Tennessee coming this way - Sardukarr was cut off, even if he wanted to do something.

At, more or less, the same time, 25,000 soldiers began making their way from Tallulah up to Lake Village and headed for McGhee, Dumas and eventually Pine Bluff. 50,000 strong headed out of Monroe towards El Dorado with Arkadelphia and control of I-30 in their minds. Each of these two groups had 50 (approx.) tanks at their disposal and a good 22 Appache helicopter gunships.

Then the airwar began. 55 F/18's headed to Little Rock (actually, Jacksonville) to take care of the airbase there and hopefully grab a C-130 or so with the 1,500 special forces that would be dropped. Another group of F/22A raptors, 3 B-1 bombers and 30 F/35 strike fighters headed up to Fort Smith to take out the 188th airwing or what might remain of it. Another 40,000 troops with heavy artillery support headed into Texarkana from the Red River army depot.

It was Blitzkreig time in Arkansas! Who could stop it now?

Meanwhile, in El Paso and Laredo, over 300,000 troops began to spill across the border into Mexico and the few war ships Texarkania had left Galveston headed to Mexico in a show of force. It was a two front war, but one President Vargas had long been preparing for with his high speed rail system and his airforce and troops - best of all, he had the oil to supply his military's needs, something most people who might oppose him didn't have.

The C.C.E. expressed no intent on intervening, however patrols have been stepped up along Arkanaland borderlands, featuring the newest addition to the Arkanaland C.D.I Forces: MMPWV.

They have also cleared virtually all warlord activity on the Amazon River, which should aid immensely in shipping operations in the Amazon. With the warlords gone from the Amazon, Sharina cargo ships will be able to traverse the Amazon easily, finally providing the necessary means to re-build Western Brazil after the last remaining warlords in the jungle and city ruins are dealt with.

In related news, Sharinan forces have crossed over into Uruguay three days ago, and the Uruguyans have put up a much more organized resistance than the warlords in western Brazil. This has bogged down Sharinan efforts considerably, even though the area being invaded is significantly smaller than western Brazil. The Uruguayan army is operating as a cohesive unit, unlike the pirates, cut-throats, grunts, and so forth in western Brazil. In addition, the Uruguayans have much better logistics and supply base established.

Despite these factors, Sharinan forces have steadily progressed into Uruguay. Sharina's air force has eliminated all Uruguayan aircraft and anti-aircraft defenses, as Uruguay's equipment dates back to the 1970's and 1980's, basically obsolete compared to Sharina's S-22 jets. This will allow Sharina to strike Uruguayan targets at will in the upcoming several weeks.

I'm just setting up the fact an invasion has begun and some fighting is going on. I've not claimed or done anymore than that - we're shooting and they're shooting back.

Thank you. :) It's my first war "story," as I should call it. Well, for properiety's sake, I'd wait over the weekend. Some people are probably pretty busy with work and all. Or if he's just being lazy, and is actually able to retaliate, I'd have at it. :P
