Aircraft
Fighters
F-20 Tigershark
An improved version of the F-5, the F-20 offers improved performance in all areas. Liberal use of advanced materials coupled with a powerful (yet low maintenance) engine gives the F-20 a power to weight ratio unmatched by other modern aircraft. Supremely maneuverable, the F-20 was considered by it’s test pilot to be the best modern dogfighter in existence. Advanced avionics with low spin up time means that the F-20 can scramble faster than other fighters, making this an ideal air defense interceptor. The F-20 is now being manufactured under license by Tangent Industries for the Aysheaian Air Force.
Maximum speed: Mach 2+
Cruising Speed: 800 mph.
Range: 1880 nautical miles (maximum with external fuel tanks)

Attack aircraft
The A-20A Eris
Developed by Aysheaias Sufi Aviation as a low cost ground attack and antihelicopter aircraft, the A-20A Eris forms a major part of that nations military reform. Combining long range, safe flight characteristics and the ability to deploy from paved roads, the Eris is an effective and flexible addition to any developing nations arsenal. The use of space-age composites and a simple design make the Eris both extremely light and easy to manitain in the field. At the request of the Air Force, we have developed a mounting kit allowing for AARPMS* reconnaissance pods to be mounted on the underwing ordinance hardpoints. These mounting kits extend the role of this aircraft to low cost battlefield reconnaissance (in combat areas where inexpensive planes such as the Sufi R-22 Sky Eye would not be suited), and are available on request.
*Aysheaian Air Reconnaissance Pod Mount Standard
http://www.soixante-neuf.org/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/Ares2.jpg
Cruise speed: 320 kt
Max speed (level flight): 380 kt
Service ceiling: 31,000 feet
Max range at cruise: 1200 miles
Crew: 1
Armament: 1 25mm gatling cannon, 2 optional wing mounted rocket/bomblet pods
Prices for the basic Eris start at $1.2 million.
OOC notes: The A-20 is a nimble little attack plane. It's hard to hit with AA gunfire but vulnerable to sensitive heat seeking missiles. It's great against tanks, fair against choppers, and effective for general ground attack. It's fairly fragile, though. It's main advantages are a big gun in a cheap plane that can use a rough airfield.
Also available is the A-20B Eris II, an upgraded craft. The A-20B features a radically redesigned avionics suite based on the SPECTRA system used on Aysheaian Kihikihi fighters. The SPECTRA system is an active virtual stealth system, monitoring radar signals with a sophisticated array of detectors embedded in the skin of the aircraft. An advanced computer system, using technology licensed from Leafanistan, calculates the exact strength and phase of signals to be generated by a corresponding network of emitters needed to minimize the radar return of the aircraft. This, coupled with the naturally radar-transparent nature of the composites used in the aircraft, give the B model an unprecedented radar signature.
The B model also features a terrain following 3D down-scanning sensor system allowing the craft to fly at extremely low altitude on autopilot, further enhancing the utility and survivability of the aircraft.
While the aircrafts size and weight have been increased over the A model, an uprated and more fuel efficient engine allows increased performance over the A model at only a mild decrease in range. The A-20B does not feature hardpoints for bombs, but does have 4 hardpoints capable of fitting air-to-ground missiles or rocket pods.
Cruise speed: 345 kt
Max speed (level flight): 410 kt
Service ceiling: 37,000 feet
Max range at cruise: 1140 miles
Crew: 1
Armament: 1 25mm gatling cannon, 4 optional wing mounted rocket/bomblet pods or air to ground missile racks.
The A-20B Eris II is available now for $18.2 million.
OOC notes: While the Eris II is built around the same airframe as the A model, the SPECTRA system and terrain following scanner account for most of the increased price. The A model, while naturally somewhat stealthy, is not suitable for covert operations against advanced foes, being an inexpensive battlefield attack plane. The B model is far stealthier, suitable for covert operations.
While neither plane carries a large load of munitions, both feature the frighteningly large (especially for the size of the plane) 25mm gatling cannon which is capable of destroying main battle tanks and heavily armed helicopters. Pilots must be careful to fire the gun in short bursts only, as the recoil exceeds the thrust of the engine and extended firing will stall the plane. Big gun good! :D
Combat transport aircraft
TR-21 Pelican
The TR-21 is Aysheaia's first production tiltrotor. The TR-21's leap ahead technology will revolutionize military air transport capabilities in a manner not since the introduction of helicopters more than 50 years ago. No other aircraft can do what the TR-21 can. The TR-21's ability to self deploy around the world dramatically reduces strategic lift requirements. It is the most flexible, capable, and revolutionary combat troop transport aircraft in the world.
http://www.soixante-neuf.org/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/AC3-13.jpg
Cruise speed: 241 kt
Service ceiling: 24,700 feet
Max range at cruise: 233 miles
Crew: 2
Accomodations: (crew seat/troop seats/litters) 1/24/12
Prices start at $35 million
OOC notes: The Pelican is the Aysheaian version of the Osprey tiltrotor. It's used like a transport helicopter for moving troops. You get the idea.
Reconnaissance aircraft
R-27B "High Eye"
http://www.soixante-neuf.org/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/proteus.jpg
The R-27B is a twin turbofan high altitude multi mission aircraft powered by Williams International FJ44-2E engines. It is designed to carry payloads in the 2000-pound class to altitudes above 60,000 feet and remain on station up to 14 hours. Heavier payloads can be carried for shorter missions. Missions for the R-27B include telecommunications, reconnaissance, atmospheric research, commercial imaging, and space launch.
Cruise speed: 262 kt
Service ceiling: 60,000 feet
Max range at cruise: 4800 miles
Crew: 3
The cost of the basic aircraft is $1.6 million. Standard payload pods are available at a reasonable cost:
Empty (user customized): $130,000
Telecommunications relay: $1.5 million
Reconnaissance: $1.2 million
OOC notes: The R-27B's main use is sitting at high altitude. It's far cheaper than a satellite and used for much the same purposes.
R-22 "Sky Eye"
http://www.soixante-neuf.org/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/LongEZDuck.jpg
Intended as a low cost reconnaissance plane, the R-22 is ideal for battlefield use. With a service ceiling of 30,000 feet it is nearly immune to tertiary (small arms, machine guns) air defense. The airframe is constructed of wood and fiberglass laminate, making it difficult for radar to detect, while the muffled 5.2 liter piston engine propels the craft in near silence with no significant heat signature. The craft is fitted with a nose mounted ladar and underwing imaging pod.
Cruise speed: 182 kt
Service ceiling: 30,000 feet
Max range at cruise: 1400 miles
Crew: 1
The price of the aircraft, fully equipped, is $120,000.
OOC notes: The R-22 is used much like a recon version of a civilian light aircraft. Treat it much like a zippier, stable piper cub with some basic recon gear.
Missiles
CM-3B "Swallow" cruise missile
Th Swallow is a long-range subsonic cruise missile intended for standoff use against ground targets. The missile is stored in a sealed container which doubles as a launch-sleeve - this keeps the missile clean in wet or dirty environments, and simplifies the launcher. The missile itself is a two stage unit, with a small solid fuel booster launching the missile and bringing it up to speed, where a jet engine takes over. The missile is guided by an inertial navigation system, with active ladar and GPS to suppliment it on final.
The missile travels at low altitude at aproximately 850 km/h with a range of 1400 km.
The CM-3B is available with three export warheads: a 500 kg warhead suitable for attacking structures, an incendiary warhead scattering 20 bomblets, or an anti-airfield warhead dropping 5 100kg shaped charges for destroying runways.
Cost: $1.9 million, please specify warhead type (the single 500 kg is the default)
CM-3T "Swallow" cruise missile
The CM-3T is a CM-3 cruise missile designed to be fired from a standard 533mm torpedo tube. It is otherwise identical to the CM-3B.
Boats and ships
Tuavali class patrol boat
Designed to suppliment (and ultimately replace) the Arama'i'i class boat, the Tuavali class is a fast attack hydrofoil suited to littoral operations. Powered by 2 1600 horsepower diesels when waterborne, the Tuavali cruises at a leisurely 12 knots. A large gas turbine engine powers the craft when foilborne, driving it to 48 knots. Well armed for its size, the Tuavali class is capable of sinking far larger ships with its compliment of Exocet missiles.
Designed: 2002
Displacement: 275 tons
Dimensions: Length 41.5m; Beam 8.6m
Speed: 12 kts (waterborne); 48 kts (foilborne)
Range: 3700 nm @ 12 kts; 490 nm @ 48 kts
Crew: 23 (4 officers)
Weapons: 2 Exocet launchers (12 missiles carried), 1 75mm gun, 1 quad mistral A-A missile launcher (12 missiles carried)
$18 million
Thanks to Leafanistan for (unintended) inspiration to became an ultracapitalistic arms maufacturer
