Today in a surprise move, the Socialist Block has declared its full support for James Palmer, the Liberal candidate, to run in the presidential election later this year. The Liberal-Socialist opposition has long been divided on many issues, with the Liberals taking more conservative positions on many positions, especially economics in recent years. It is believed this will be a great benefit to the opposition, especially after Tobias Grey’s decision to dissolve the massive Conservative Block, leaving a huge power vacuum.

President Tobias Grey rang James Palmer earlier this evening to congratulate him on his success. It has been suggested that James Palmer is the Moralist Blocks preferred opponent, considering his history of ‘extreme behavior’ and alleged sexual misconduct. The government has denied organizing these protests; and refuses to confirm or deny whether there has ever been any evidence to suggest that James Palmer has committed a crime.

TOBIAS GREY: We all know what has been said about Mr. Palmer, and the Farminan people don’t want a person like that to lead them.

James Palmer’s has not been silent on the matter.

JAMES PALMER: Typical political stunts, that’s all. I have done nothing, and thus the absolute lack of evidence. I have not violated the sodomy laws, and that is final. What President Grey is trying to do, is to make issues, his weakness, sidelinable.

The allegations relating to James Palmer largely relate to an accusation of violating Farmina’s sodomy laws, with a long time friend and companion…
