Saharistan War Coalition. It's McKagan, Leafanistan, Space Union, Willink, Halberdgardia, and myself. It was the group that eventually took control of the nation of Saharistan during the Saharistan War. Let me dig up some links regarding them.


Edit: Here you go. The Saharistan War entry was written primarily by Halberdgardia, with help from (I think, it's just an IP address in the history) Leafanistan. The Saharistan War Coalition page was started as the "Coalition of Saharistan" and was written by myself, Halberdgardia, and then another IP address. Over time the CoS evolved into the SWC.

I saw some serious godmodes by soem of the nations that were nuked, so we are starting over as a [CLOSED] RP.

OK, my (unwelcome) critique:

Algeristan: ICBM's take under 20 minutes to hit (25-30 for FOBS - Fractional Orbital Bombardment Systems designed to reach the opposite side of the globe). There's no recall or "self-destruct" button (if there was, it could be spoofed).

Everyone Who Got Nuked And Took No Losses: There are no foolproof ABM systems. Work out a success rate per incoming missile (assuming 2 interceptors per incoming warhead, it won't be more that 75%), and then apply it religiously. Since I'm a great fan of random calculations, I would open up a copy of Excel and create a line for every incoming missile. Then I would assign interceptors and use a function like =IF(RAND()<0.75,"HIT","MISS") to tell me the results of the attack (and then copy and paste values to a different worksheet for results).

You know, I've backed off more that my share of wars out of fear of getting nuked, and I have almost 1 billion people. If you can't stand the heat...

Huge Armies That Cross Oceans Or Continents Overnight: The invasion of Peopleita was unrealistic (and so was its defense). Huge armies can't move fast. Again, it ticks me off that I move brigades around because that's realistic and other people send armies of millions flying around like bullets. Be realistic, folks.

no did not get nuked i sent two stelth destroyers as mobile attack and radar platforms,but no not nuked and no casualties (never sent in troops)

I agree with everything u said , at the start my "News" Channell reported no deaths and 100% take down on all the ICBM's but that was wrong 10 million died but how can a nation fire 100's and 100's of icbms ? 200 at one 50 at me etc them things are very expesnive lol

Yeah...that's right...one of the reasons why Countries in RL, apart from their sheer dangerousness, doesn't use tons of nukes is that it's pretty expensive and hard to produce them without being "caught" and that produce radioactive material to use for nuke is pretty costly and time-consuming...

Also to find out a top secret information one should have worked a very efficient spy network to gain it, have a spy satellite or something like that...that's why even intelligence services couldn't be sure if something is done by another intelligence service or from "independents"...

Sending 60 nukes due to a top secret information and a formal condemnation of an invasion from a "neutral" country is pretty unrealistic and a bullshit from RP point to me, since people keep sticking finger into my "defense bullshit"...obviously my error-proof highly advanced defense system was a bullshit, but definitely at the same level of unrealism as one sending 60 nukes as if it was like scratching one's ass! :rolleyes:
