OOC: I have decided to change my nation from FT to PMT (Post Modern Tech). Thus meaning that I will use some future technological elements but still retain the modern perspective. Meaning that I am trashing the old SDs and getting the old guns out. I am also changing my government in the process. A coup de'ta in the simplest terms.
Also to note: I have decided to start rp'ing my nation as one that had been an ally of Nazi germany and had been helped by them to achieve greatness after the Axis victory. You will see several German influences in my new government and military. But mostly military.
IC:
Dankin was extremely tired. Being a personal aide to the Emperor was not an easy task. Some public demonstrations had gotten out of hand in the Palace Square. The Riot Division had nearly been over-run, but for the intervention of the Wolf Brigade. Iadoma Kiari, commander of the Wolves had been disgusted with the Riot Division's lack of discipline and handling of the situation that would cause a military unit to have to step in. But then Emperor Shadaum had been able to keep Kiari from beating the RD commisioner. Dankin turned a corner in the palace and half saluted as some of the Imperial Guard marched by in their white armor.
He glanced back at them. 'So different from the Wolves,' he thought. The Wolf Brigade was armed with a new technology that the Germans had invented. The Protection Gear, or Armor. Body armor that could protect the wearer from all but the most concentrated small arms fire, and could protect against minor explosions. But the only feature anyone ever remembered about the Wolves was their eyes. The Masks they wore, night vision red, causing them to seem less human and more beast. Nothin more than a red eyed killing machine. That and the fact that they toted MG43s as their regular issue side arm. Even if the regular wolves only used the MP-44 type 67, they were still a force to be reconed with. (Picture (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b184/Upum/Jin-Roh/Jin20Roh20Japanese20Soldier.jpg))
Dankin moved into the Emperor's study and looked around the darkened room. He sighed, set some of his documents on the desk and moved to the open window. The night sky was dark, hardly any stars. Only the moon shown through the clouds. Like an omen, he thought to himself. He looked down at the Imperial Gardens and was curious to not see any of the Imperial Guard patrols out moving. Usually a platoon of them moved through the gardens at night, but they simply weren't there. Dankin's forehead wrinkled in a frown. "I had better warn the Guard barracks," Dankin said to himself.
He turned and was about to go into the hallway when he saw several looming figures stepping from the shadows. (Picture (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b184/Upum/Jin-Roh/Jin-Roh3.jpg)) Wolves. Dankin was about to say something when four white armored Imperial Guard soldiers turned into the hallway. They were mowed down in seconds without hesitation by the Special Unit soldiers of the Wolf Brigade. (Picture (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b184/Upum/Jin-Roh/3b61ebb1.jpg))
Dankin ran. He moved to the back of the study and pressed the secret switch for the Emperor's passage way. He had to warn Emperor Shadaum. He sped through the lamp lit ways as best as he could until he finally came to the Emperor's room. Just in time to see a squad of Wolves march into the room, followed by General Iadoma Kiari.
Kiari frowned at the Imperial Aide. "Shoot him," he said to one of the armored soldiers. The man lifted his MG43 into position and fired off a string of rounds into the aides chest, sending his body flying backwards. Emporer Shadaum stood up from his bed.
"Kiari! What is the meaning of this!?"
"This is, as my colleagues say, is a coup," said Kiari. The 5'8" man with dark black hair and a greying beard said after lighting a cigar in his mouth. "I've taken over the palace and have your family in my possesion."
"We're to be killed then." He didn't make it sound like a question more than a fact.
"No my dear Emperor, those who support me do so only because I agreed to send you and your family into exile. And that is where you will go."
"Very well," Shadaum said. Shadaum dressed in a formal Imperial uniform and was marched out of his room. Kiari followed.
"How will you control the reaction of the People?" asked Shadaum as they turned a corner. Gun fire sounded in the distance. Imperial Guard soldiers were still resisting the Brigade.
"I have declared martial law. My Wolves are occupying key positions in the city as we speak." (Picture (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b184/Upum/Jin-Roh/d72af3e3.jpg))
"Seems you've thought of everything," said Shadaum. Kiari nodded. "My Wolves will be marching through the streets come morning to the adoration of the People." (Picture (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b184/Upum/Jin-Roh/1961a721.jpg))
The small party walked outside of the palace. There a full company of Wolves were assembled with the remains of the Imperial Guard and Palace workers, as well as the Imperial Family. The Wolves had them in a gun encirlced area. Shadaum entered the circle and held his wife.
Kiari stepped over to a mega-phone. "A transport will be arriving soon to take all of you who wish into Exile with the Emperor. Thats all." He lowered the device and stepped over to his command car. The car drove out of the Imperial Palace grounds and into the city beyond.
One of the Wolves checked his watch then spoke into the comm for all the assembled troopers standing around the Imperial family and palace guards and workers. "Carry out the order." The roar of gun fire eachoed over the screaming.
By the time the Moon became low, with Dawn on the way, the Wolves were in control.
