Reichsführer Aven Tannen dies of natural causes in home on Sucello

Black flags with the word "MOURN" written across them now fly in the Sucellan Governance after our great leader, Reichsführer Aven Tannen, died from natural causes late last night. There will be a public funeral in Porell City on Sucello, where Tannenmillians or other people can pay their respects to the now passed leader of Tannenmille. For one full month, the flag of Tannenmille will be changed to the black MOURN flag that was designed by members of the Reichstag. The Reichstag has also declared that a national mourning period of one week has been instated, and there will be no open business during this period. Finally, the Reichstag has passed a bill naming August 4 as Aven Tannen Day as a tribute to the man's leading of Tannenmille. Peffe Tannen, Aven's first son, is to be crowned the Fourth Leader of Tannenmille on November 4th, when the mourning period has ended. Until that time, the Großkanzler and provincial governments will rule the nation. At this time, the Triune Systems are closed from all commercial and military movement, except for the Tannenmillian Honour Guard and any commercial craft moving through the Governance.

Well look at your foriegn policy!

Your an ally of the vile communist dog nation of Leafanistan, a nation that has carried out many acts of communist gangsterism.

Have you ever heard of invisible communists?

They are everywhere!

Invisible communists will pose as capitalists, liberals and other entities and from within, they destroy whatever system they are inside of and bring about communism from the inside.

Algeristan views your nation as under the grip of invisible communism.

Until your nation ceases to be on good terms with ANY communist nation, Algeristan will look down on your nation.

The Holy Empire is in great sadness at the news of such a respected leader. We will send 10 boxes of our finest wine for the surviving family of Mr. Aven Tannen. This is a gift from the Emperor and his wife. May whatever God you believe in smile down upon your nation at this time of crisis.

From: Kir Kanos, President of the Democratic Republic of Halberdgardia

The Halberdgardian people join in your mourning for the loss of a truly great leader. I had the honor of first working with Reichsführer Tannen during the Saharistan War, where the Reichsführer courageously led Tannenmillian forces to Earth in support of coalition actions. This selfless act was absolutely invaluable to our efforts, and for his help, I am forever grateful. To hear that Reichsführer Tannen is no longer with us has brought not only myself, but the whole of Halberdgardia, into mourning. All Halberdgardian flags in Halberdgardia and Halberdgardian territories will fly at half-staff in honor of Reichsführer Tannen. The world has suffered a great loss with his death. He was one of the finest leaders I have ever had the privilege of working with, and was a true master of statecraft. We can only hope that he exists in a better place than this world, this perception of reality we exist in. My deepest sympathies to the Tannenmillian people.

Respectfully,
Kir Kanos

I will not stand idly by while you attempt to defame a deceased leader, one of the finest men I have ever known. Keep your ill will towards the late Reichsführer Tannen to yourselves, and you will not be perceived as a nation of callous fools. To insult the deceased is absolutely inexcusable, and we will hold it in the highest contempt.

I didn't feel it right for Wolfgang to write a reply to your message, so I took it into my own hands. I was only 15 when my father sent the troops to Earth and to Saharistan, but I realized that it was a huge event because the news in Tannenmille was nothing but covering the Saharistan War for two years during and after the conflict. Mourning is still effecting Tannenmille strongly, but tomorrow most of the state-run mourning will end. It is also tomorrow that I will officially become the Fourth Reichsführer of Tannenmille. I greatly admired the way my father ran Tannenmille, and I plan to execute many of the policies that he had dreamed of. I'm sure my father rests in peace now, in a place far from here; in Paradise. I am glad that he was able to pass in a time of peace and prosperity for the Tannenmillian people, and not in a stressful position as a leader during a war. My father cherished the alliance between our nations, and I would never attempt to sunder the great respect that my family has had for you and your leadership. I will be going to Earth soon to oversee the efforts against Global Jihad that have erupted these past weeks, and perhaps we can arrange to meet at some point. I must be going now, Wolfgang is at the door and is telling me I must rehearse my Crowning speech.

Sincerely,
Peffe Tannen

It makes me smile to see that you have same hands-on style of leadership that your father used to such effectiveness. No doubt you will be equally, if not more, adept in your role as the Fourth Reichsführer of Tannenmille. While I regret that domestic concerns here on Earth prevent me from attending your Crowning ceremony, I do look forward to meeting with you here on Earth to help eradicate the menace of Global Jihad once and for all. May you prove to be as great a leader as your father, and may our two nations continue to thrive together in the years to come.
