It was a very pleasant night. Jordan and Andromeda were sitting together admiring a meteor shower, Ishmael was reading to his great-nephew, Chong, and Ali was asleep. Earnest was up front speaking with the pilot, trying to keep him awake.
"I still can't wait to see James' face when I tell him I knew his great-grandmother in my travels in America."
"Yeah, that is going to be a bit of a shock to him."
"Maybe I can see her again next time I visit Theao, if she's still alive."
Suddenly, a small meteorite crashed through the cieling, hit the pilot, went through the controls, and out the plane. Earnest busted into the rear and shouted,
"OH SHIT!"
The plane was headed right for a Candrian forest.
