Secret IC: government message to section 31 and star fleet intelligence construction corps.
The Federation government, has authorized building of multiple listing posts and out posts along borders with certain nations, these nations include Vespeterium Minor, Theao, a new faction in coreworlds and Hyperspatial Travel. These nations have unknown intent and some have hostile intent, these out post will be build along there borders to monitor all communications military or other wise, all fleet movements, and all government ships, we have also authorized the building of a new super array that will capture images from afar as well as Sub space scans, it is imperative that this be secret , at all cost there fore we are assigning a minimal 3 ship fleet to each group, most of these outposts will be hidden from sensors because they will be either behind gas giants n nebulas or in radioactive asteroid belts , witch should provide sufficient cover for the facility and its builders, some of these outpost may also be used for probe team expeditions and underground contact processing, at any rate continue with the mission, you have a couple of months for each outpost to complete construction, if there’s any ships in the area that arint for mthe federation, disable there sensors with your soloton waves, so they cant record any thing, you have strict authorization to do so, but you are prohibited under any circumstances except the most dire, or if your attacked to destroy another nations vessel, or destroy it.. that is all

One of the hundreds of thousands of probes HT sent out each year to map the territory surrounding the Realm, flew through space. It sent constant recordings back to Realm City, and, with the shielding and minor propulsion engines it has, was an excellent investment.

Suddenly, it came upon an object.

Recording... object. Visual scan not completed, bringing optic sensors to bear... Sensor not active. Malfunction. Activate energy and trail sensors. Sensors not active. Malfunction. Begin alteration of course away from unknown object. Transmission malfuction. Unable to transmit information of any type. Continue to alter course. Sensors re-enabling."

Petty Marshall Styn Ignoras, a man given to much thought, although not much action, was musing the action of the latest probe. "It seems," he spoke to himself, "that the probe simply failed to send information of any type to Realm City, and that all sensors were disabled during a limited time. It seems unlikely, given the multiple backup systems we have installed, that a multiple malfunction would've taken place. As all the systems were in perfect condition upon return, it also seems doubtful that a mere energy wave could've neutralized the systems temporarily... Especially considering the light-instant recording device, the one the records imprints of light, infra-red, and ultraviolet, although only in the form of a single picture..."

He then turned, and faced the perfect human face, embedded in a screen upon his wall. "Tylos, are you getting this?"

A strong baritone answered, as the perfect face, although unsupported by any type of body, moved its lips in synch with the noise that emitted from speakers a few metres away. "Styn, all is recorded. I am uploading the information from your musings to Record File 093.2. Please continue."

He stood abruptly, and frowned. "It seems we have an enemy who as outsmarted himself in a bid to disguise himself. Send out a single, cloaked scout, and scan the possible area it could've been in. The design looked more human, although, from these damned strange pictures, it's near-impossible to tell."

The computer executed his orders even as he spoke, although, for a scout to sweep such an area, it could take up to a year. Unfortunately, with the Fleet standing down, no other craft were available. He sighed, and turned his attention to those damned rebels....
