The Bonstocknian Navy started out with the purchase of two Barracuda class coastal patrol boats from Kelanthia, around the time of Bonstock's founding as a nation. Since its humble orgins, it has now grown into a massive, global fleet of over ten-thousand ships of every description. Right now, however, a major build up has been ordered by President Harald Gustavsson. The build-up will take approximately ten years to complete, but when it is done, the Bonstocknian Navy will be one of the most feared fleets on the high seas. The plan is for the new Navy to consist of the following units:
Capital Ships
2 Zealous-class Superdreadnoughts (purchased from the Macabees)
240 Ste. Evremonde-class Aircraft carriers (only 100 in service, rest under construction; indiginously built Nimitz knockoff)
60 Grossbonstocknia-class arsenal ships (all but 5 under construction; indiginous)
60 Draken-class battleship (indiginous Yamato knockoff, 50 planned or under construction)
Other surface vessels
720 Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruisers (including 620 planned/uc)
720 Arleigh-Burke-class guided missile destroyers (including 520 planned/uc)
1440 Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates (including 1200 planned/uc)
Submarines
720 Seawolf-class attack submarines (520 planned/uc)
360 Ohio-class ballistic missile submarines (240 planned/uc)
