Developed and produced a few years ago the Pathfinder is the classic dreadnaught carrying 4 large 18" ETC gun turrets. However there is one important difference, this dreadnaught links up with several Red Square-class VLS ships to increase its missile capacity to enourmous amounts.

The Red Square-class is a toned down Guided Missile cruiser, only capable of carrying the missiles at a speed of 25 knots, however, it is meant to be linked to another ship. The minimal crew: 15 sailors can then slave their missiles to the linked ship. Once the VLS array is used, it can be disposed of, creating a false target for enemies. However the cheap diesel engine can also be used as a seperate engine, pushing the now much lighter hull along or detaching it, slaving its computer to the main ship, and using it as a decoy. Without the missiles the diesel can do up to 35 knots. A creative idea, created by Nikolai Tesla, an eccentric engineer working for the state-owned arms industries.

The Pathfinder-class links up with up to 4 Red Square-class VLS cruisers via 4 protrusions on the outside of the hull. 2 starboard, 2 port. Once done, the Pathfinder uses its 3rd reactor to power up the VLS array and the diesel is used to help push the Dreadnaught up to 5 (10 once array is empty) knots faster, and important factor in helping to turn the ship to decrease chance of missile hits.

Red Square-class Linkable Guided Missile Cruiser

Length: 47m
Powerplant: Sung Mark 11 Turbine
Speed: 25 knots (max at 30 knots)
Crew: 15
Displacement: 3,210 tonnes
Armament: 1 Hybrid LASER, 25mm Gatling Cannon CIWS system

Upon linking to the Dreadnaught, or another compatable ship, the Red Square class directs power from the Dreadnaught to the VLS launcher and CIWS systems, the diesel now concerns itself only with propulsion, adding much needed horsepower to the Dreadnaught. Up to 4 can be linked to the Pathfinder-class. Up to 2 can be towed.

Cost of each Red Square-class: $60 million US
Cost of aircraft compliment: $500 million US
