It was a busy afternoon for Emperor Vladstin II. He was on his way to a peace meeting with the leader of the FVV (Federation of Vlad von Volcist). A rebel group that has held massive protests, riots, and murdered many government officials. (The Emperor worked hard to keep all this quiet from the international community from finding out so his country wouldn't look weak.)
Now he thought it was all comming to an end. At 4:30 PM he arrived at the Royal Palace of Heichinstan and got out of his armoured limo. As soon as he stepped out he was surrounded by 6 Imperial Guards and he slowly made his way to the door of the palace. On both sides of him being held off by SWAT forces was thousands of people both supporters of the crown and supporters of the FVV. When suddenly out of nowhere a man plowed through the SWAT officer and yelled "FOR FREEDOM." Then BANG. The man blew himself up taking Emperor Vladstin II, his six guards, 75 civilians, and 12 SWAT members.
Later on that evening Prince Vladstin III was made Emperor and made a announcement to the people of the empire.
" Today we have suffered a horrible loss." he pauses momentley to regain his composuer. " Your Emperor was killed in a way that he may not even be given a proper burrial. The FVV has made it clear that they will stop at nothing to overthrough this government. The FVV is now an enemy and we will destroy them and their followers in the name of our nation. Anybody who supports the FVV in any way will also be seen as a trader and will be sentanced to death like every other trader."
Now Otto, who was leader of the FVV, knew that this was the time to attack. The new Emperor's speach made him think for a second and also helped him realize that the government was weak right now and that now was the perfect time to attack. He was ready. The majority of the country supported his cause and the government was weak and unstable. Now's the time he thought again.
