Gryphendor

Emperor Eric the First of Gryphendor, a man few saw in person, stood impassively in the centre of the room that was about to host the delegates and possible heads of state from every nation in the Aurelian region. The dining room was exquisitely decorated and furnished in the finest items from Gryphendor and surrounding nations.
A huge chandelier hung from the ceiling, a mixture of glittering glass and highly polished gold that brightened the furthest corners of the room with its powerful electric lights. The Ebony floor was polished to an almost mirror like state, Paintings of past Rulers, scenes of hunting and Gryphendorian landscapes hung about the walls. To one side of the room there was a long table covered in food of all kinds prepared exactly to meet the delegate’s expectations surrounded by high backed comfortable chairs.
Eric was also dressed in the finest garments that a man of his station deserved. Although he was a middle-aged man of average height and looks it was his presence in the room that made his appearance more commanding and regal. He wore a double-breasted jacket in a militaristic style that was a dark royal blue, the cuffs and his collar where a bright yellow. On the jackets shoulders were large epaulettes in silver and gold displaying his rank as leader of the Army and Head of State, a yellow sash cinched the jacket around his waist exaggerating his already buff chest. The Emperor had freshly shaved his hair to a tight crop of stubble but left a precisely trimmed goatee that traced his chin and jaw line.
His eyes where an emerald green that harboured no traces of mirth or joy and gazed expectantly at the entrance to the dining room from where the guests would arrive. The Gryphendor Delegation included the Emperor, two of his most trusted advisors, High Councillor Francis Ordo (Head of the Bureau of Foreign Relations) and Sky Commander Denizon Crale (Leading Councillor of the Army High council), The Emperors First born daughter, Elanor the IV, Lower Councillor Max Friedman (Designate for Environment) and Lower Councillor Alessia Janker (Designate for Home Affairs) each Delegate member waited patiently for the discussion to begin.
The highest security was in place for this meeting with the elite and most decorated of the Black Sash guards ready to step in and protect the Emperor from whoever was to attack, for added security every minute of this Meeting was to be recorded for future reference and observation. Now all that was left was to wait for the Delegation teams to arrive.
