Eieari’i, Aysheaia. In response to last nights tragic destruction of an Aysheaian cargo plane by Bolkian warplanes, Prime Minister Utui'ini has ordered naval warships to Bolkia. The aircraft, an Aysheaian Cargo Lines A-320, was carrying sweaters and coffee as part of a humanitarian aid effort to the new nation of Korridan when it was fired upon by Bolkian Su-25 attack planes off the Korridan coast. The crew of four all survived and were rescued by ships of the Velkyan Union.

The 3rd naval assault group, on maneuvers in the south atlantic, will be joined by the patrol destroyers Kani'iu'u and Clam.

There are already peace-talks going on about the Antartic conflict, but Bolkia has crossed the line, and we will rip them a new one.

OOC: This nation is not nearly well as documented as The Velkyan Union, so I will list it's military capabities and other facts:

Military Forces

50,000 regulars, armed with myriad weapons of russian orgin.

500 T-54 tanks

300 helicopters, mostly Mi-26 Hinds and Mi-8 Hips

100 fighter aircraft, mostly MiG-21s and Su-25s

25 aging Tu-95 bear bombers

10 ships, all destoryers

Unknown militia forces

General population is extremly loyal

Captain Kuroshi regarded the Bolkian coast. Bleached white cliffs plunged into the frothy sea, which seemed to despise them and fight against the land. The weather had cleared, affording him his first clear view of the place, and he wondered just what the inhabitants had planned.

First they shoot down an unarmed cargo jet, he mused, then they hurl insults, and now they ignore us. This leads us directly to here, this dismal point off a barren coast, about to fire the first shots the Aysheaian navy has ever fired in anger against another country.

And the Bolkians? They are nowhere to be seen. i know they have a navy, I know they have defenses. They may not be large, but you'd think they'd at least try.

To port he could make out Kau'pulani's sister ship, Malakui'i, holding station 4000 meters away. The escort carrier Tu'ureu'u lay 2000 meters to starboard. Around them several missile frigates, both U'uapi and the new Skate class, formed a screen against resistance which simply wasn't there. He drew breath. The moment had come. With a word he would enter the history books, something he'd fantasized about since he was a boy. He looked down at the decks, at the pair of twin torpedo tubes now loaded with Swallow cruise missiles, their guidance systems already fixed on the primary target - a military airfield near the coast. Tecnomache will send three battleships, one aircraft carrier, and two artillery divisions to aid Aysheaia.

IC: Dozens of explosions littered the Bolkian coast. Several artillery gun and missile sites were knocked out. It was Bolkias turn.

Coastal General Shiek Aramain looked at the Allied Fleet with extreme prejudice. They had the nerve to threaten Bolkia, and now they seek to destory it? Not on his watch. Exorcet batteries and 155 mm guns at the ready, he hesitated, then let loose.

"FIRE FULL BROADSIDE"

A massive crashing noise was heard, and the coast light up with gunfire.

IC: The Admirals and Generals were waiting for the call from The Allied Fleet..

The war is now in the Bolkia Invaded! thread.

Two fighters appeared on the horizon, they bore the flag of Technomache. They began an assult imidiately. One launched hydras at the gun turrets and the other let loose a torpedo. As this was happening the battle ships waited for the planes to finnis thier assult before moving in.

OoC: So what era is this supposed to be?

OOC: We're all mostly MT, the nations involved are are fairly small (in the case of Bolkia and Velkyan) or remote (Aysheaia), so this isn't going to be the standard "bring out the super-dreadnaughts!" sort of conflict.

Techno and Culex, neither of you have a history of relations with Aysheaia, so your presence here could get messy... ;)

OoC:In that Case Culex will remain out of battle, yet will remain on call, in case of need from the Allied forces.
BTW-My army isn't that large, I may have 1.29 bil people but my Gov funds only has 1% def. LOL. I am trying to get it higher..LOL :D

The People were to be put on a state of National Emergency in case of Bolkian Attacks. THe Priests and Druids Began their prayers as did many people
