OOC: Phal, sorry for the delay, after you left I had an emergency and wasn't able. But here I am, so lets get the fun started.

The day wasn't turning out as clear as the news had suggested. The light drizzle that covered the roadways and the thick clouds caused a slight change in plans, but nothing that the Angelic Forces were incapable of handling. In the early morning light of their hotel room, they gathered their equipment then stood around a table. Their project leader began handing out the folders, code labeled "AFSP 1, 2,.." and so on for each participant.
Inside the folder contained a single key card with a barcode and a magnetic strip, a set of contact lenses and clear transformation gloves. They immediately shuffled around the room, preparing themselves for their journey to the hospital in central Paladin.
The time they left was 7:30 a.m. They entered the busy streets, surrounded my thousands of Phalanix citizens. Suprisingly enough, with the rain that covered the roadways, traffic was not an issue, and they ended up at the hospital on time for their shifts. As they unloaded the car and proceeded into the doctor entance, they were scanned by security, but immediately given access due to their high status as hospital officials.
They hustled up the stairs to a secluded office in the middle of the building. They unloaded their packages from the carts and quickly began constructly their deadly weapon. Their project was to infiltrate and place a nuclear weapon in a hospital on Phalanix soil, and they were extremely pleased to do so.
Within one hour the weapon was ready, and they waited for a confirmation signal from base. The weapon suddenly flickered to life and in bright red lights the LCD screen read "Armed and Ready for countdown." A woman's voice came over the intercom, none other than the one known as the Pernicious Blonde Shadow.
"Is it ready," the woman asked.
They replied with a solid, "Yes ma'am."
"Godspeed, "she replied.
The men looked at eachother, gave a quick nod of recognition for a job well done. The leader of the group pressed the countdown button on the laptop infront of him. The countdown began in a set of beeps.

.....
The explosion was so quick and mysterious. The bright light flashed immediately. All life seemed to freeze in a single instant. Children playing in the school yard, mom's hurrying off on errands, and people scurrying about to work. However, in that same instant that life seemed so dear, it was erased, and the city that had once been busy with life, seemed quiet and hopeless....
...but as promised by the weatherman, it turned out to be a clear day.
