The Jasper System is a realitivly new system with a star much like our sun. The Jasper System has 5 planets. Jasper I, II, III, IV and V. Jasper I is a rocky terrestrial planet with no atmosphere and it is constantly irradiated by the star. Jasper II is a medium sized planet with a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere, it has two oceans and 3 continents. Jasper III is a Gas giant with an ammonia atmosphere. It has 2 moons with stable atmospheres but they are mostly sulfur based. Jasper IV is another gas giant slightly smaller than Jasper III, it has rings and 12 moons, none of which have atmosphere, however one is an ice moon which may have liquid beneath its icy surface. Jasper V is a terrestrial planet without an atmosphere, its temperture hovers just above absolute zero.

JASPER II.
The only habitable planet. It has two oceans and three continents with vast unspoiled natural resources. The xenobiology is mostly reptilian. The forests of Jasper cover most of the land and the forests are orange most of the year do to a fungi that grows on them. Jasper II also has a primitive race of lizard people. The Lizard people occupy caves near the coast for the shelter and the nearby fishing grounds. The Lizard people are fiercly matriarchal. The head matriarch is the ultimate authority on every thing.

Now the Jasper System is open to anyone wishing colonize, mine, farm, convert or enslave it. All Nations wishing to do this must pay me 100 million dollars for access. Then any disputes you have are between yourselves after you pay.

We do find the presence of gas giants welcoming. We would like to pay the 100 million dollar fee, in exchange for mining rights to all the gas giants in the Jasper System, and the rights to establish a trading post and embassy with the Jasperian Lizardmen, and the permission to recruit them for use in the People's Navy and Red Army.

We do note your attitude of "exploitation," though. These peoples should be treated with respect, if possible; they are sentient beings too.

Mean while the USS odyssey a galaxy class star ship was cruising
Through the unknown sector at warp 7, its saucer section gleaming from the light emitted buy stars whooshing by as it raced through sub space, mean while on the bride the helms officer taped her glassy console making the ship drop out of warp. A glorious flash of light reveled the ship dropping out of warp with blue particle mater trilling behind going towards the inside of the then unknown jasper system, the star light gleaming on its saucer and hull as it rumbled in its red impulse engines glowing on the back off its secondary hull, as its nacelles shined a dull blue light around the ship..

On the bridge the captain was looking at a padd when his con officer turned to him and said “sir were detecting life forms on a planet in this system, but we have to get closer” the Capitan responded with “all right take us in full impulse” with that the ship started rumbling in towards the inner system

The USV Corporeal fell out of TFTL, finishing her routine scans of the STC. An older vessel from the Siesatian Temporal Incursion Fleet, a Halcyon class, which were known for their ability to take shitloads of damage, she had recently been outfitted with new weapon systems and power systems suitible for deep space activity.

Detecting fleet movements, the distinct saucer design and twin nacelle design of the Trade Fedral Union vessel was detected by the long range sensors, and a General Quarters alarm was sounded by the ships computer. Shield were raised, and weapons were put on standby.

Captain Glavespear had been enjoying a new novel before this had happened, his spectacles perched on his long Burmecian nose. That was before the GQ alarm blared into his ear.

"Fedral vessel detected, activate T-Cloak, and head for the planet. Establish orbit before you decloak." he instructed to his nav officer, before putting down his book. Shame, it had been a good one too, freshly delivered from the Haven Colonies.

The tactical officer raised a brow as he looked at his SCVS, and said “sir were detecting another ship here its cloaked, with a temporal cloak. The Capitan stood up and looked over commenting “red alert shields up”! with that the ships shields went up immediately after the order its phaser arrays charged up torpedo tubes were loaded as the ship turned for face the cloaked vessel.

(ooc don’t whine that I can see through cloaks since I do use the Space cutting view system witch has the ability to see through almost any thing, and also seeing as I don’t use cloaks )

"Sir, satcom reports contacts moving through passage N-423a-Henric, as of 0800 standard. Information source is a Y-T300 probe that was left in the adjacent system after the area was classed Alpha-15."

"Thank you private" replied Captain Wills nodding at the soldier and taking the datacard.

He read the card, surprisingly noting that the probe had detected what could only be a capital sized ship as well as some abnormal readings shortly after.

"Something’s happening out there private, find Lieutenant Green and have him request permission for the..." Wills paused and checked a list of ships displayed on his desk monitor. "... HMS Rockwood to deploy a flight to N-423a-Henric."
"Yes Sir."

OOC: My version of the T-Cloak isn't actually Temporal, its a Null Space Cloak that evolved from a Temporal cloak... Its called a Transient Cloak, considering the infinate ammount of alternate Null Spaces, on the various frequencys you would need to detect what was on each one, I would be very surprised if you could actually see the vessel without exausting tremendous energy sources, and even then it would take a while. All that, without my ECM and ECCM systems having a go at your sensors.

So, in essance, your sensors wouldn't pick me up, because I am no longer in the timeline.
I will allow your detection of my initial passage through the system, but not my current movements, as I am no longer in 'Real Space'

Also, what does you not using cloaks have anything to do with anything? Would the USA have to have an Anti Nuclear Shield to use Nukes?[/End Technobabble]

The ship reached orbit, and armed her weapon systems, with the overcharge cells trickling... Dropping cloak, she fell out of her Null Channel, ready to fend off any TFU agression.

The shields were set at 60% as a precaution, as Condition Red had not yet been declared. They gave off a blue sheen in the darkness of space.

Inside the ship, the contingent of Marines stood at attention, with the vital areas bolstered with Dragon Knights, and maintinence officers finished a full loadout on the small fleet of fighters that sat in the bay.

the tactical officer looked over to the Capitan saying “ohh Waite sir its only a shadow there’s nothing there. (meaning..?)
the Capitan shrugged and said disarm weapons but keep the shields up. The tactical officer did just that

"Rockwood, we're on station. Starting search. Five Eight out." Lt. Commander Meier twisted the switch changing the comm-channel over to the squadron Frequency. "This is Dog Lead, all callsigns proceed as ordered... we've got 6 hours in system, keep your FTL drive spun up, if you are engaged bug out back to Rockwood. Good Hunting."

"Got that lead."
"Comfirmed, rolling out."

Meier checked that his wingman Dog Three was still with him then kicked in his afterburner and lined his fighter's nose up with the first waypoint.

12 fighters to search a whole system for what was probably nothing more then a sensor ghost anyway... Hell who in their right mind would come out this far anyway?

He played with the controls for the sensor package which had been bolted on his underbelly, making the fighter handle like it was pregnant. The only information on the Nav Comm for this system was that it was last charted by a military team, some five years ago...

The various state and semi-private mining concerns in New Dornalia, guarded by elements of the People's Navy, soon moved in, and began to establish mining platforms around the gas giants of Jasper III and IV.

Meanwhile, a team of dignitaries from the Commissariat for Foreign Affairs landed on Jasper II, and made contact with a local tribe of Lizardmen. Bowing respectfully, they made contact and began talking with the matriarch, making sure never to make eye contact. The two sides soon entered into negotiations....

"Sir, the TFU ships have dissappeared from our timeline." The Sensor officer exclaimed, "Message from Fleet Command, TFU forces no longer excist in this timeline."

"Good, order the ship back to normal readyness."

"Sir, contacts on the screen."

"Hail them."

"Unknown contacts, we are here to investigate a system for potential trade and resource collection."

"Sir, the TFU ships have dissappeared from our timeline." The Sensor officer exclaimed, "Message from Fleet Command, TFU forces no longer excist in this timeline."

"Good, order the ship back to normal readyness."

"Sir, contacts on the screen."

"Hail them."

"Unknown contacts, we are here to investigate a system for potential trade and resource collection."

The People's Navy ships responded:

"Unknown contacts, this is the New Dornalian People's Navy. We are here as well to begin resource collection and trade, as well as contacts with the native sentients. We are not hostile to you."
