We'll take 58!

Comrade, that will come to $75,400,000,000... unless you'd like to offer us a discount, chum!

The Fujishima Corporation finds this design to be acceptable for its purposes, and wishes to purchase two for testing, the total coming to USD$2,600,000,000.

We also are inquiring about production rights for said ship.

Hmm... The DCE Navy would like one of these for testing purposes - specifically, seeing if it's even possible to use a chain-loader on a 155 MM cannon. If possible, get rid of all radar, the two CIWS slots, and the 155, and add a 2way multifrequency radio and interface it to the 442's computer systems. Also, replace the propellers with high compression waterjet propulsion for quiter operation. And before we go all the way through with this, what's CODAG?

Once it's confirmed that these conditions will be met, and our primary question answered, we will place the order. We will inform you of the results of the tests. If we are satisfied, we will order a contract for more.

Your orders are confirmed. Thank you for purchasing our vessel.
Artitsa
Your orders are confirmed at a 5% discount. Thank you for purchasing.
Fujishima Corporation
Your orders are confirmed. Production rights are available for our allies only, sorry. Thank you for purchasing.
The Candrian Empire
While this is a very strange offer, we will confirm it for you. CODAG is Combined Diesel and Gas. Thank you for purchasing.
Urcea
Was that a typo, or are you smoking something?

Ministry of Finance - Office of the Minister

"Emperor Petron, it's Jim. Yeah... Hogsweat approved the order. And I found out what COGAD is. Combined Gas and Diesel. Yeah. Yeah, I know. No mods, we can use straight biodiesel. I'm gonna ask them if they accept a deffered payment. Deffered... We pay overtime. Yeah, you know, since we... we don't have a whole lot of money for the navy. I'm gonna ask them 'n all that."

Message from Jim Kreaz - Ministry of Finance of the DCE.
We are greatful for your acceptance of our somewhat unusual request. We ask if it's possible for you to accept a deffered payment plan, due to our delicate financial situation in the military arms department. We are willing to pay 500 million USD over two years, and the remaining payment to be paid off after the final payment. Thank you for your attention.

Official Response from Emperor Carlos Petron:

"sweet."

Press Release from Highest General Gerad Leeds:

"The purchase of a Hogsweat - made Type 442 destroyer DOES NOT indicate a remilitarization effort, as some may have you believe - we simply wouldn't be able to afford such a ludicrous action. Indeed, this purchase is simply another action of testing of the ever-evolving Candrian Military Forces. If the project is successful, then an order will be made to pocure several ships to make the core of our naval defenses. We are eternally greatful to the United Kingdom of Hogsweat, and their graciousness to let a small republic like ourselves to purchase one of their fine vessels."

To: Hogsweat
From: Admiral Geoffrey Simnett, Minister for Defence, Kingdom of Lesser Ribena

Dear Sirs,
we have reviewed your vessels and have found them satisfactory for inclusion into our Royal Navy. The Third (Reserve) Fleet is a little low on escorts and we could do with a few new destroyers in there to support the present vessels. To that end please process the following order:

30 Type 442 Destroyers @ $1.3 billion ea

For a total of: $39 billion

I look forward to recieveing the vessels and hope for futuretrade with your nation.
McKagan
02-08-2005, 17:45
The Republican McKagan Navy (RMN) has conducted initial testing of these vessels and, upon realizing they are a very viable weapons platform and versatile enough to remain so well into the future, wishes to order 50 more of these ships.

Price: $65 billion

(OOC: Say, do these actually have a hangar or anything for helos, or just a pad for one to sit down and drop someone off every once in a while?)
Leafanistan
02-08-2005, 17:58
Leafanistan is in need of VLS destroyers, as our aging fleet uses the old box launching systems. We shall order 50 of these at the current price.

Price: $65 billion

Half has been wired to your account, the other half is waiting upon confirmation.

ATTENTION
Because, the United Kingdom of Hogsweat and the Westland Commonwealth is now at war with Automagfreek, all vessel purchases are hereby null and instead we shall wire to you the production rights for a mere $8,000,000,000.
Thank you.
Note: Recent midlife updates have improved the Type 442 by 8 knots by adding a nuclear engine. The HELO pad retracts when a helicopter lands on it into the bay and in it's place a sheet of titanium draws over the vulnerable tophole.
