I mean, all I see is FT. There is almost absolutely no one who does MT. It's a little overwhelming.

That's what it seems. During Winter-Spring, there was a TON of MT nations RPing. Now that it's summer, I see a bunch of FT. I'm not sure about Fall, but I can only guess.

Solar COllective could be used as an example^^

also, most MT RPers leave or off site forums such as W@W, or most MT RPs are closed(like the one I'm in now), but we're here, lurcking in the shadows, waiting to strike, lol :D

I'm a non-"Earth" oriented nation who tends to ignore stuff that's not plausible MT. Last of a dying breed I suppose. I've got an RP sort of on hold at the moment, but it's generally a good MT thread and you're welcome to join if you're interested in one.

There's also a big crisis going on with ViZion, myself and some other MT nations. Here's the link to the main thread:

Aysheaia just started replacing our top-of-the-line F-5E fighters, so I guess you could call us kinda-pre-MT ;)

Post WWII Tech, schnikt, doesn't get much further from FT than that, well apart from all the more basic techs, but they don't count!

I do a slightly archaic version of modern tech, b/c I use magick. I've also started to ease into FT, but only a little bit, due to alliances I've made, and friends I have.

I'm postmodern tech at the moment, and am disinclined to jump to FT due to people like Indra Prime =p

i mean i tried to start a small time terror rp yesterday that would turn into a civil war and nobody answered :(

EDIT my nation has a strange tech, its soviet 1980s style but with a more wwII army and vehicles

Most people do MT, they just dont do RPs for some reason.

*Pokes technologically challenged peers.*
I do FT, but I have a sizable PMT force on earth.

As to the FT/MT engagements, I have found them to be fun on both sides, even if the modern tech guy can only shoot down one of your capital ships. Heck, if I do RPing with a MT person, I do give them a chance...

I do multi-tech. It's more fun.

Same here, but I use different nations for each tech level and playing style.

It's all in my signature......

Same. I base my nation on an odd idea of how history might have gone had the Sumerians not been phased out of existance, and I base it in the current times.
Most of what I use is currently existing, I just use more personalised versions of it. And I prefer to RP only with nations who use things currently existing in the world. Normaly this means I ignore things like SD's, ETC guns, Rail Guns, or other amazing laboratory BS that people like to think are MT.
I'm sure you can imagine, this leaves me limited in who I can RP with in more then a political or character fashion.

I've heard the US Navy's building an experimental railgun (me hopes!).

Anyway, you had to admit, blasting a planet into slag with orbitial bombardment is fun! :D I also do MT, but not as much as my Star Wars RPs.

I'm late MT/early PMT. Though maybe in a month or two I'll start a space warfare program. :p

I'm exclusively MT and not on any of the Earths. Does this mean that I should go to NS instead of II?

Nope. I know of several players who've been successful here in II without a specific Earth, yet they do MT.

I'm MT started 18 months ago with a nation called Luparia, set in 1948 just taken over by the Commies post War.

This Incarnation is about Now so MT all the way.

I also have a RP going at the mo, ok so its actually an Ally gathering thing. After this one I'll invite those who've taken part in the thread to join me in two separate Role plays, one will be a combat based, using units and individuals [I hope] and the second will be about the humanitarian aid and how its being used, posts about Patients and reports and convoys, maybe highwwaymen and diplomatic stuff.

First off I's like to claim Mr December, and the title of Santa Claus,

Secondly I think most peoplr Rp as MT they just don't bother writing it every time, I check em just incase, granted I don't reply to many, but that's just cause not much is catching my eye at the mo.

From what I see, NS is actually pretty FT dominated in its own right. II's probably the best forum if you want to do MT due to the nature of the 'international incident', but you can still find alot of good character RPs and stories if you look carefully and sift through the other stuff. II's still my favorite, at least, even if it's FT dominated at the moment. Ah hell, [Cartman voice]I love you guyth.[/Cartman voice]

When I first started rping on these forums, late Nov. and again late Dec (the Nov incident is best forgotten), I would flipflop back and forth between NS and II. Now, I'm exclusively II (unless some allies that are exlusively NS need help, which hasn't yet happened).
