A number of Communist-Sympathizers from around the world, many fugitives from imperialistic nations, have pooled there resources to create a new nation called by those responsible, The Socialist States of Korridan, Headed by the enigmatic leader know only as Ian, the people responsible used various high powered explosives, bombs and even suspected nuclear devices to split off part of the inhospitable Antartic landscape into a large island that they have dubbed New Siberia. It remains to be seen how the rest world will view this act, and treat what many conservative leaders have dubbed a rogue nation.

Many residents of the Igovian Soviet Commonwealth of Beth Gellert have already urged Korridans to, "cast-off the condescension of their leaders and to fully embrace socialism and, ideally, communism instead of looking to patronising leaders". All Igovians hope that recent dramatic actions will not, you know, totally destroy the global environment.

The farce known as Green Sun has also been told to, "relax, dudes" because nobody owns the land taken by the people of Korridan. A hearty, "Long live democracy!" was added to that general statement.

The Lone Alliance quotes: "You better put it back you don't know where it's been. " "Though we do state that ViZion cannot claim such an inhospitiable landscape just because they want too. It rightfully belongs to everyone, cause it's too damn cold there to fight over it.

Igovians restate that you're talking to communists, and if they're anything but utter liars, they won't pay any attention to the theft-based claims of, well, thieves, and that international law is worth exactly nothing to any revolutionary worthy of the name. These are socialists, and if they live there, they live there, and that is the be all and end all of the matter.

As to Lone Alliance's comment, we do have small bases. While they're clearly not cities, or even villages, we have scientists who live on this nearly inhospital land.

It is the official position of the Soviet States of Callery to offer you aid in terraforming the island on the condition that you pursue a true communist government. It is to be noted that this is not an acceptance of what they are doing, we just really like terraforming things.

The Grand Dominion of Drakonian Imperium finds ViZion's threatening and claiming of the Socialist States of Korridan unfounded and inappropriate. The Imperium will not stand for such badgering of a new nation in the Multiverse and will, if ViZion continues its military posturing, intervene on Korridan's behalf.

Due to this unrest the Imperium has place all land claims of ViZion "under review" and their recognition by Drakonia is yet to be decided. As well the Imperial Drakonian Navy Task Force Preeminence on route the South Indian Ocean has been ordered to alert status as it heads into the Southern Atlantic.

Meanwhile, the Imperium offers its aid to Korridan for the process of terraforming of the New Siberia and its concern over environmental impact that the usage of nuclear devices might have during on the island's creation. Certain organization in the Imperium will likely be able to help with both.

Sort of, Actually, as long as his bases were not subsurface, and he didn't bother doing any deep surface scans, he might not even know I was there, or would assume there were big ice caverns below him, as most of them are very deep in the ice... ALthough, you may come across New Haven, which the only visible thing is the fortress that the Siesatian Revolutionaries held out against the Humans. Now, if you continue into it, you will come across a back door of sorts, its actually the enterence into a sealed off hanger, I believe it is still stocked with a few of my older fighters that I just abandoned.

But that is another story...

Ian has mobilized the arm forces and established various supply depots throughout the region filled with months supplies of ammunition and food, with heat plates to melt water for continued Guerilla operations against forign invaders. Furthermore we accept all military and economic aid offered to Korridan, and will move towards true communism as best we can once the threat is over.

Help with environmental cleanup is also appreciated, but we wish to wait untill the threat from Vizion is over.

The entire Palixian Empire army was sent all 762,062 (OOC: I checked it it's right...) All of Kevistis, Palixia, and Palixian Reformwas under high alert as their part of Antarctica was floating away, they went to the base of New Siberia and air raided over them... The War had begun

OOC: Palixia - Even with a 5% recruit rate, which is unreasonable in itself for a MT nation, you only have 27,250,000 Troops at the most.... Just fielding that many troops would leave your economy in shambles, and your troops would be poorly armed to say the least, especially for cold weather climate, which would make each soldier double as expensive.

I would only expect you to field 272,500 troops to their full effectiveness, not including logistics in this kind of climate, which is .05% of your population.

My country has 1 Billion people whose history has been to join the military at 16, for at least 5 years for over 3000 years. Just for NS purposes this is unreasonable, and I only use 3% of my population in the military.

The Imperium finds all claims to Korridan soveriegn territory ridiculous, due to the nature of the Multiverse (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Multiverse). Furthermore, the massive armies apparently using teleportation devices, all the while armed with sticks and stones of Palixia are consider no serious threat to the soveriegnty of Korridan. We believe that the new nation should have no trouble defending itself, especially with international support.

To help facility this Task Force Preeminence has been ordered to move south to defend the soveriegnty of the new nation. The Imperium strongly urges all aggressors to back down and not cause further aggression. Any forces violating the territorial boundries of New Siberia will be in serious peril.

Meanwhile, the Imperium is interest in how Korridan was able to affect a continental change to literally create an island from a large land mass. Information regarding the seismic events used to create New Siberia would be much appreciated by Imperium scientists.

It should also be noted, for the benefit of the Socialist State, that the Imperium is a capitalist nation. We however have no quarrel with communist and democratic socialists and still wish relations between our two nations to continue. Already the Emirate Humanitarian Organization is preparing radiation containment teams to head to New Siberia.

OOC: Palixia, if you don't want to ignored you might consider not puppetwanking or instantly moving hundreds of thousands of troops. To raise such an army that size would take months, if not more than a year, to just mobalize. Not to mention actually moving them. And they just instantly in one post are on New Siberia?! Ridiculous!

For the benefit of everyone else, Korridan does not seem to have "floated" his island. It appears he used a seismic event to create and move the land mass.

((Though I dont have a main map of the area, there is a large southern beachhead where the main breakoff tookplace, however there is still remains of nuclear waste there, which could possibly lead to unforseen health problems. Another beach lieing northwest of the capitol (Which is positioned center northeast of the island area) has heavy mountainous regions a few miles in, where a large number of the aforementioned depots have been established. North of the southern beach is a large amount of harsh tundra, with a hilly region leading to the rocky shores of the western cliff range. There are currently no ports established, and my military tech is along the line of 1960's 1970's Soviet Union, if independence is acheived I plan to bring it up to 2010ish level over a long course of time. The capitol is located in a large valley, with a sprawling series of crude tunnels constructed around the area to strike at enemy logistics (Think Vietcon tunnels, only in a much smaller area and more crudely built to represent less time) The main layout of the city is largely that of a standard albeit small city, except there are very few true skyscrapers, with most high building haveing been abandoned after enemy planes have started touring the are, the militia is mostly just misfits with AK-47's and communist zeal, but I think the zeal could make them good, albeit very likely to die soldiers. The Main army has several brigades of largely outdated T-34 tanks, which are mostly sitting in camofaluged bunkers to act as mobil turrets, and thats the majority of it. (If you think my current layout is unrealistic one way or the other then feel free to tell me, my first nation states RP so im not completely sure how its to work)

The battle group built around the Battleship, IDS Preeminence, and the Super Carrier, IDS Wyrm, shifted his course as the new orders arrived from the Imperial Drakonian Navy Command in Nusquam Esse. The mighty warships headed turned south changing their course from the Veiled Island Chain for which they had been heading to carry out war games manuevers, and headed for New Siberia. It was suspected that the communists of Korridan would welcom the support with open arms, although that was not for sure.

But Commodore Quintus Furius was not worried about that, he was worried that his force would have no choice but to kill thousands of ill-equipped invaders for no other reason then their own pride.

"Course change complete, Commodore," the Battleship's captain reported. "The fleet is now on a heading for New Siberia."

"Very good, Captain." The Commodore nodded his appreciation of the quickly carried out order. "Keep the Task Force at alert status, until we are sure the threat has passed."

"Aye, Sir," the captain affirmed. "We will ready for whatever happens next."

"Very good, Captain. Then you may proceed," the Commodore dismissed the other officer, and looked back out to sea. Yes, it would be very interesting to see what happened next.

As the Sun set, Ian considered his options, he wanted to lead his people as best he could, to the best future that could be provided, but foriegn aggresors will not let the Korridanians rest, and so emergency powers have been forced upon him.

A young commander steps up to Ian

"Sir, what are your orders regarding the foriegn militaries that now seem intent on destroying us?"

"Any who have not announced their support to New Siberia, are to be shot on site, we cannot take risks in this defineing moment."

The Delta squad came screaming over the ocean, so low, to avoid radar, that they created a wake in the ocean. Scanning full ahead, they detected a mass of ice ahead. Coming in low, they moved over the landmass, scanning as they went, trying to detect who had stolen the ice...

Soon, below, a small city could be seen, circling above, they relayed a constant stream of information to New Haven Fleet Command.

"New Haven Fleet Command, we have spotted a small city, it looks inhabited, we are circling to aquire any data we can from the local battlenet (Mil Slang for your Comm Systems)"

"Rodger ZAP 0018, We are recieving coordinates and relaying back on secure channels. Eyes and ears open boys."

Sentries on alert for enemy activity spot the planes, and immediatly alert the Newly apointed cheif of Homeland Defense Klaus.

"Our leader's orders must be obeyed, these planes have not made any attempt at communication, and can only be assumed as hostiles, open fire."

*A series of shacks spread throughout the outskirts of the city have the roofs torn down, and reveal WW2 era flak guns, which immediatly begin fireing at the circling planes*

As the fleet approached the new island, the Commodore had called a meeting of his commanders. Most we unable to arrive aboard the battleship in person and were therefore forced to use video communication. Meanwhile, the Commodore, the Captain of the IDS Wyrm (who had flown over from the carrier), the Captain of the IDS Preeminence, as well as representatives of the Drakonian Diplomatic Corps. and Drakonian Intelligence Agency (DIA) were all present.

"Mr. Conwell, if you would start our briefing," the Commodore ordered looking to the civilian DIA representative.

"Be glad too," the man replied. Then scanning across the faces of those gathered and those on monitors, he began. "It appears Palixia and its allies are intend on invasion and conquest. They actually want war. Their tactics currently seem to be look at our uber-numbers and run away style of combat, lacking substance and capability. Our single battle group should be more than a match for anything they deploy. We have an advantage on being already deployed, as it will take them time to mobilize their forces, unless they plan on throwing spearman at us. In any event they are a negligible threat."

He shift his attention to the other possible. "ViZion however still appears to be mobalizing its own forces. They could cause serious problems, if they wished. Currently we are hoping our posturing and Palixia's rash actions to discourage any attack from them. But should they decide on war, force in mainland Drakonia are preparing for deployment. We would first expect support from our Deep Sea Patrols however as it will take time for full-scale deployments of major military assets."

Those assembled took a moment to consider the situation. It was the Commodore Furius who was the first to speak. "Captain Axius, I would like a Combat Air Patrol established immediately."

"Aye, Sir," the Wyrm's commander replied.

"Captain Marius," the Commodore continued, now addressing the commander of the Preeminence. "My flagship will need to contact the Korridans and appraise them as to our orders and as to how we can best support their defense."

Commodore Furius turned to the line of monitors. "I am ordering us into an offensive formation. The Preeminence will lead the battle group, with all other vessel moving into positions flanking my flagship and the carrier. Sub-surface vessels are to submerge and maintain course and speed. All sensors are to remain actively searching for contact." He watched to make sure his commanders understood their orders. "That is all gentleman."

One by one the officers on the monitors saluted and signed off, then with salutes exchange by the officer in the conference room, all filed out and went to their duties.

It was only a short time later that the communication was sent to New Siberia. "This is the Imperial Drakonian Naval Battle Group Preeminence, under the command of Commodore Quintus Furius. We have been dispatch to provide defense support for your nation in this time of crisis. Requesting permission to enter in the sovereign waters of Korridan."

Ian pauses after receiving the message.

"Permission Granted, though we suggest you use all care around the southern beachheads, we cannot guarantee the safety and health of those stationed near the area due to nuclear residue."

Ian immediatly sends a dispatch to his military officers
"An allied fleet has entered our waters, they are to be given our full support in driveing out the Palixoninian or whatever the buffoons call themselves, menace."

Shells were flying throughout the air as the fighters began evasive manuvers.

"This is ZAP 0018, we are under hostile fire by unknown forces. We are bugging out. ETA 5 minuites. Repeat, we are under hostile fire by unknown forces."

SLAM, one of the shells exploded off the port side of the fighter, causing the shields to flare. But it was the shock that damaged the fighter, whose intertial dampeners had been set to high orbit. It's onboard computer attempted to compensate, but it only managed to pull it out of a dive, and complete a very rough landing in the middle of the city. Flames billowed dangerously close to the Anti Matter Reactor, which was already critically damaged.

The pilot, a Burmecian Captain by the name of Lyrm managed to survive, but only just, and before he lapsed into unconsciousness, activated the emergancy beacon.



New Haven Fleet Command

Fighters and Bombers began their load out procedures, 12 T5R3X Bombers would be escorted by 20 Raptor P5X90 Combat Fighters. There would be no mistakes, Plasma Scourge Bombs and EMP Charges in the bombers would take out the AA Towers and Comm Systems, while the fighters would take our any air support.

It would only be another ten minuites before full battle readiness was reached. Already, the Weeping Willow was being prepared in the New Haven Colonies only 200 Klicks away, should the need arise for a surface bombardment.

Message to Unknown Attackers:

It is with regret that we must inform you that your unprovoked attack on our patrol fighters has caused the assumed loss of one of our pilots. This is an act of war, and we have been ordered to begin bombardment. We are prepared to launch a full strike force against you on the presumed stolen land.

*A large group of 10,00 are deployed to search for the pilot by Ian*

"Go go go, in the event of major attempts at bombarding our vaunted capital, any survivor can be used as a hostage. Independence will be obtained at any cost! Reload the flak cannons, prepare the MIGs, we must be ready with everything we have!"

*A series of holes open up in the ground, showing narrow ramps from which the Korridanian Airforce is deployed, 40 of them all together, with 4 of the MIG-21's in each, prepared to launch in waves.*

"Hah! No matter they're technological power the fighting will and Communist Zeal behind our pilots will make them worth every penny."

*Klaus nods to himself in satisfaction, meanwhile, the majority of the pilots have never seen the inside of a cockpit before, some of the members who used to fly commercial aircraft and private jets inform the newcommers of the basic's, All of them are confident in there cause, if not in there skills."

"Sir," Captain Marius, commander of the Inexorable-Class Battleship, informed Commodore Furius. "We have received clearance into Korridan Territorial Waters. They have warned us to stay clear of Southern Beaches due to Nuclear Radiation."

"Very well, Captain," the Commodore replied. "Maintain course and speed."

"Aye--"

"Sirs!" There was a yell from one of the bridge stations. "I'm recording flak over New Siberia. Appears that a flight of spotters have come under fire from the Korridans."

"Damn," the Captain blurted out.

"Yes," the Commodore affirmed. "All we need now is an international incident."

It took a few minutes for the Drakonian to figure out exactly what had happened, but when the Siesatia message was sent, it quickly became clear. The agitated Korridans had fired on Siesatia spotter aircraft, making a bad situation worse.

The Commodore's orders were clear. "Contact the Korridans and tell them to stop shooting. That’s simply a neutral spotter flight. And contact the Siesatia naval group and inform them of the situation."

Moments later two flash bulletins went out to the conflicting sides. The first to Korridan.

Preeminence[/i]"]We believe you have fired upon neutral spotter aircraft, scouting out your new island. Request that you cease fire until this international incident can be sorted out.

The second to the Siesatians.

Preeminence[/i]"]This is the Imperial Drakonian Naval Task Group Preeminence, rerouted to this area to protect the new state of Korridan from aggressions. We believe your aircraft strayed over their territory, which is currently under high alert and under threat of invasion. We believe the Korridans mistook your aircraft as being under control of the invaders and responded as would be appropriate for that situation. This is a terrible and we are currently trying to sort out this incident.

We request that you stand down aggressions, until the situation is cleared up. We also offer our assistance for to any damaged aircraft or wounded personnel. The super carrier, IDS Wyrm is standing by to provided emergency aid, and your aircraft are cleared to land on it, if they require repairs or medical attention.

Please, to not escalate this volitile situation. Preeminence out.

"We will stand down further air defence untill such time as the situation is sorted out, however, in the event of any bombing or other attack initiated against Korridan, we will be forced to take measures towards our defence"

As ViZion's allie, we will help it any way we can. We give ViZion thye control of the 67th JDF Tundra attack Battalion consisting of 187 men and 20 Horses. Jankia will aslo be sending in the 18th JDF SF Tundra Attack Battalion consisting of 57 men and 20 Horses, the 2nd Sparrow Air Division consisting of 13 Sparrows and 12 Eagles, and the 501st JDF Tundra HellJumper Platoon consisting of 153 men and 12 Cobras. If this conflict is not resolved quickly, more Jankian soldiers will arrive. Twelve Jankian Destroyers along with multiple smaller ships will be positioned around the island and will set a blockade insurring any hostile forces will be shot down and/or captured. Before any of this occurs, we insist that Korridan moves to another uninhabited place in Antartica.

The Allied States of Velkya (now the Allied States Of The Velkyan Union) strongly condemns the violation of soverignty by Korridan, and has dispatched the 2nd Naval Fleet to the area. However, we are reluctant to take military action until we have found a motive. We respectfully ask that a peaceful solution be sought out.

On board the V.S.S. Eagle, the flagship of the 7 ship flotilla that makes up the 2nd Naval Fleet, a radio operator reports to Admiral Kilikia

"There has been a communist revoulution in Anartica, we have been dispatched!"

"To Antartica, my god..."

"Yes sir!"

"Prepare the ships, I want all crews on high alert as soon as we hit Antartican waters!"

And so, one by one, the 7 ships steamed away from home, to unknown waters and danger...

The Grand Dominion of Drakonian Imperium advises the states of Jankia and the Velkyan Union to not support the unwarranted and unprovoked aggression being committed by ViZion and Palixia against the sovereign and new state of Korridan. Jankian soldiers have been in much Arctic terrain as much of the eastern hemisphere of Praemorvia is arctic terrain. The people of Korridan have had their time to flee. This time is up. Jankian soldiers will start landing on the ice mass as soon as the 2nd Sparrow Air Division has cleaned up the city and outlying villages/outposts of all armoured units and infantry, They will also drop bunkerbusters on suspeced entrances to the tunnel system, and the tunnel system itself.

Our cargo plane has just taken off. Due to the distance between our nations, it is estimated to arrive in 8 hours and 40 minutes. We took the liberty of stowing a large quantity of coffee for the defenders of Korridan, with our compliments.

As the armada of Su-25 neared the antartic coast, they spotted a fleet of transport planes.

"Hey, shall we have some sport?"

"Haha, they are not our brethern, have at them"

The lead Su-25 fired it's main gun at a CoA plane. The gun barely missed it's left wing.

Another Su-25 strafed the plane. This time, the plane was hit. The wing clipped off, and the transport hit the water. As the crew bailed and inflated the life raft, the Su-25s began to engage the transport fleet.

2nd Sparrow Air Division

The capital city of Korridan came into site. The aircraft were almost silent as they began their attack. If any Jankian pilot had been hit and was inable to eject, they were instructed to kamikaze into any enemy they saw. "Wing 12, take the East sector, Wing 11, Take the West, Wing 10 and 9, take the North and South. The rest of you, take out anything else you spot on this chunk of ice.". Several "Yessir"'s came out. The group of planes split up and moved quickly to the targets. The AA guns came alive and small black cloads started to come from everywhere. "All wings! offensive positions!". Several missles could be seen from the ground, almost all of them hitting their targets. Planes went down low to avoid AA fire. Eagles strafed any soldiers they came across, but were cautious not to hit any civillians. Sparrows bombed the walls and gates of the Korridan capital building, but many were shot down due to heavy AA fire in that area. The lone tanks and AA that were outside the city and that were in residential areas were avoided due to possible civillian casulties. The aircraft maintained their attack on any Korridan forces they found. Many clouds of smoke could be seen both from Korridan and Jankian vehicles.

Attention Bolkian forces, you have fired at unarmed civillian cargo planes, this will be met with extreme predijuce if your forces do not back down now and leave, and as you are such a small nation, I would go away since you could be easily defeated.

"Now, Launch them!"

*MIG 21's began to fly out of the ramped holes to engage the enemy aircraft, however a few of the holes found themselves clogged up as inexperienced pilots jammed there planes, blocking the exit. Most however made it airborne, and began to engage the enemy, with orders to in the event of mechanical malfunctions, angle there planes towards enemy bombers and eject, Ian surveyed the scene, and was glad to see the enemy had the honor to avoid attacks on the civilian populace. Several AA flak guns were destroyed, but it concerned him little, they were old and cheap, they could be replaced after the battle*

"Hunter Leader, this is Hunter 2, we have just gotten a distress call from CoA transport aircraft, they are under attack by hostile fighters"

"Roger that, all Hunter units are cleared to engage enemy fighters!"

As the lead F/A-35 powered on, the other 9 followed.

Several minutes later.

The Bolkian pilot spotted 10 contrail at approximently 10,000 feet.

"Infidel fighters!"

"My brothers, crush the imperisilts!"

"Lock on, I got a Lock on Su-25"!

The missile streaked to the Su-25. Exploding along the engine, it knocked the aircraft straight out of the skies.

"Kill track, Su-25, good shot!"

Several more Su-25s were elimninated before they could respond.

"Retreat to the homeland, retreat my brothers!"

The 39 remaining fighters broke off and flew in a beeline straight for the Bolkia coastline.

The 10 JSFs, unscathed, formed along the remaining transports.

"We have a SAR mission incoming to resuce the downed liner"

"Thank you"

"Not a problem, we shall give you a safe pathway to the Korridan airfields"

"That would be greatly aprriciated"

And so the fleet of aircraft headed straight for the Korridan...

Commodore Quintus Furius lets his words be transmitted to the fleet and sink in, he know it would take his commanders a moment to truly comprehend the barbarism of the enemy. "All forces stand ready,” he ordered. "Communication's transmit our intentions to all parties. Send an alert to our civilians in the area. If Jankia wants a war, then the fools can have one."

"Aye, sir."

"Universal Time," the battleship's Captain queued. "What the hell is that?"

"I don't know," the Commodore replied. "And I don't know if anyone but the Jankinians do." He paused for a moment.

"Is my flagship ready, Captain," he asked falling to an old navy courtesy.

"Your flagship is ready for your command, Commodore," the Captain replied straightening and falling to proper navy etiquette. "Awaiting your orders, Sir."

The Commodore thought for a moment. "All ahead full," he commanded a moment later. "Sound General Quarters."

"Aye, Aye, Sir," the Captain replied, then turned to his bridge. "Sound General Quarters," he yelled.

And the ship became a chaos only someone a navy can understand. Alarms blared, crew rushed to their battle stations, and calls of "General Quarters" screamed out over the ships intercom.

"Order the Wyrm to launch strike aircraft," the Commodore stated. "They are to engage if the Jankia enter Korridan sovereign airspace, and ignore warnings."

"Aye, Sir."

OOC: Hey Jankie you wanna give us more than fifteen seconds to react. Proper etiquette when Roleplaying (which I am wonder if you know how to do) is to give all involved time to react to such action as deploying forces, but you wouldn't know that would you? It is also not polite to just RP (if you don't know that means RolePlay) your force instantly over someone else’s territory, they have to get close first.

"Pit Viper Twelve, you are cleared for take off!" And with a roar the last of the squadron of Predator Interceptors launched from the deck of the Drakonian Super Carrier. It was not long before the squadron, named Pit Vipers, were all together and flying for the large island of New Siberia, where the Jankians had decided murder was better than peace.

The fighters hauled for altitude. They would, as per standard Drakonian Military doctrine, attack diving down on their enemy. This would give them a deadly edge in air, as a key to air warfare is maneuverability and a plane scrabbling for altitude is not nearly as maneuverable as one diving. It would also give the Drakonians more room to maneuver as the would be much more distance between themselves and the ground initially.

"Viper Lead, to all Pit Vipers, weapons free. Prepare to engage." The Squadron Commander called over their communication's systems as they approached the engagement area.

Standard Drakonian Aerial Combat Doctrine clearly outlined out air-to-air engagements were generally won. Combat Aircraft would fire their Long-Range Missiles. If these failed to eliminate the threat, they gained altitude on their enemy (if necessary) and attacked at full throttle, slowing only at the last minute to fire any Close-Range Missiles or to strafe with their guns. They would then break into close and fast dogfights, if then enemy had survived the earlier attacks.

It was these dogfights that the home-built Drakonian Aircraft were ideally suited. Designed to have near impossibly incredible agility, Drakonian Combat Aircraft could literally fly loops around even the best aircraft, without even having to change the direction in which they were flying. This unbelievable ability was unmatchable by even some of the most advanced aircraft and would usually win the Drakonians the day.

And then they were in range. "Okay boys and girls, its time to light up some warmongerers." There was a ringing tone signaling the weapons lock, and then-- "Viper Lead, Fury Two."--the first two Bolt Long-Range Air-to-Air Missiles launched.

"Pit Viper Three, Fury One-Two."

Like a chorus the other squadron members confirmed the launch of their own missiles. "Viper Twelve, Fury Two!"

The plumes of twenty four missiles sailed away from the squadron as it again formed up and prepared to engage at close range. "All Wings," the squadron leader commanded. "You are to cut down across their axis from above and then engage in one-on-one. Careful of your friendlies."

"Roger, Pit Viper Lead!" The chorus of wing commanders confirmed. "Roger Lead."

It would be moment before they were among the enemy aircraft. The Imperial Drakonian Navy had already informed the Korridans of their inbound support. It was still hoped that the Jankians would see the illogic and blatant aggression of their actions and back down, but that one expected. Blood would be spilled this day.

Jankian Air Forces pulled out of the battle and presumed the battle a Success and almost immediantly, Sparrows came in with troops and unloaded troops on the outskirts of the city. The troops stormed through buildings killing any Korridan troops they saw. The Jankian troops were more than able to take the outskirts of the city as there was little presence there. Several horses moved through the streets killing any stray soldiers they found. The Jankian troops finally met the defended part of town. Snipers set up in the tallest buildings easily picking off soldiers with the almost concrete penatrating bullets. This was an easy fight judging that this nation had World War II technology and Jankian soldiers were way more advaced than that. Korridanian soldiers were heavily fortified so they stood somewhat of a chance. Horses rolled through the streets, though some that wandered into the Korrdanian lines were picked off. As night fell, the 18th JDF SF Attack Battalion wandered silently into the Korridanian lines and set explosives on fortified buildings. A SF soldier was spotted and gunfire startled both sides. As their cover had been blown, the rest of the Jankian soldiers, including the HellJumper platoon that had been sent in with the SF soldiers charged the enemy positions.

Exellent. The 1,656 men of the 1st Autonomus Werwolf Brigade will arrive in country by aircraft in aproxamatly two days, while the 1st Hypermobile will arive by sea in around four. Best of luck, and don't kill them all before we get there.

Humanitarian aid flight shot down

Eieari’i, Aysheaia. Approximately 30 minutes ago an Aysheaian Cargo Lines jet on a humanitarian aid mission was shot down by unidentified fighters off the coast of Korridan. The jet, carrying sweaters and coffee bound for the new nation, was engaged without warning. Despite damage sustained, all four crewmen were able to bail out and were rescued by nearby ships.

Prime Minister Utui’ini was informed of the attack a short time ago and is currently meeting with military commanders, ministers and advisors.

As of now we have no clue as to the identity of the attackers. Korridan is currently the site of heavy fighting as the tiny nation and her allies attempt to fend off an invasion by Jankian forces.

1. I didnt notice your post on your MIGs because I was typing my own post and when i posted your post was a page back, ill be happy to raise my casulties of my airforce. Your 400,000 man attack force is underground and you havent attacked me yet have you? As I said, It shouldnt take long to send less than a thousand troops with FT over a small chunk of ice. What was meant with the success, is that my troops considered that attack a success, I thought that would be pretty self explanitory, and i do not see your post about low buildings, but surely there are some buildings that are taller than the lower ones, like churches?

(OOC: My normal country is already spread out, so as in past wars, their colonies join the fight.)

OOC: Its actually a few pages back, its was about right after your fighter went down, and its 10,000 men that were deployed but they are spread out searching all of the area so a group that came across the pilots would likely be 20-30 strong, and immediatly call for reinforcements.

Also that many were dispatched because that was before the Jankians suddenly materialized at the capitol and so there were plenty of extra troops.

As the troops entered the state of New Siberia they immediatly were looking for the pilot, if anyone came near them they would be shot with the new Silencer UZI's... They really wished someone could help them...

OOC: You forget that the IOS has heavy artillery, medium artillery, light artillery, and forces guarding the beach, so you won't be able to build a trench, without being shelled, and blitzkrieged at the same time.

The Air Raid wouldn't be very effective. Mostly because Korridan has a state-of-the-art Anti-Aircraft System, along with a good deal of fighters from the millitary stationed there, any thing in the air was bound to be blown out of the sky soon.

Undoubtably some bombers will break through and cause havoc in your lines, IOC.

A peace summit would be acceptable, however that will only take place after all enemy troops have withdrawn from New Siberia and the summit would take place in the Capitol of Korridan, to discourage continued Bombing raids.

About your lost pilots, you may search for them yourselves, and we assure that we do not have them, if you insist on attacking korridan however, We will do whatever it takes to defend ourselves.

((The southern beachhead is irradiated but is a very long beachhead, the northwestern one is a medium-small one nearer the capitol but has the majority of my defenses stationed there with the a mountainoues region after it before the captiol is reached. Other beachheads exist, but most would not be suitable for any large force to land there. My current forces are my estimated 400,000 man strong standing liberation army, and a ragtag band of "Peoples Militia" who are in various depots to conduct Guerilla Operations. All are in heavy Russian Snow gear.As welll as a few brigades of modified T-34s and MIG-21's.))

Serindepal, thats a helluva lot of logistics, how could you deploy thousands of AAA batteries within days and then magically say that nothing can get past. A fleet of JSFs could easily outfly these defenses using supercruise. Also, guns are only effective to a certain atltitude. VVVs bombers may sustain light losses, but will destory some defenses and soften up the beachhead, but while not destroy it outright. And now, as a peace summit is underway, we shall never see what could have resulted.

OOC: Of course I didn't say that nothing gets through. I just said that there would be substantial losses, and the whole beachhead wouldn't have been destroyed. Maybe a few tanks blow up, a dozen or so soldiers get bombed, but nothing on a catastrophic scale of the whole shorehead being destroyed. I apoogize if you misunderstood what I was trying to say.

Velkya will host the summit in Southport, as it still is a netural but still invloved country in this conflict.

No its not, my fighters have had shields, and been flying in Low Earth Orbit for about 24 RL hours.

1: I've been in this thread longer. If you do not wish to have a FT aspect, then go away.

2: No godmodding here. As per FT acceptable guidelines, I am perfectly within reasonable limits to have a 3 kilometer vessel. Many nations have ships ten times that. We operate on a bigger scale then you guys do. I have also, I might add, set weaknesses that would not excist if this were a FT only RP. Example, my Weeping willow is slow. In a FT only, it would travel at around 40 Knots. I have it halved to 20 knots with a tail wind.

Also, just the fact that he was able to hit a fighter with a flak cannon, not to mention shoot it down shows limits to my fighters that would not normally be there.

They are no different then the battleships you MT nations use, it just flies. Besides, I doubt they will reach the land in quite some time. Also, a limit I have set is it must land to recharge its fusion cells about midway through the journey.

I Don't think you get this, I was here first, noone else disagrees with the fact that I am FT. And, I AM NOT FORCING A HIGHER TECH LEVEL ON YOU! Get it thru your skull. You on the other hand are trolling, which, I believe is against REAL NS rules.

If you would like Mod action in this thread, I will be happy to call them and they can sort this mess out. But, since they are not Roleplay Police, they will only mention the trolling, and the Hijacking. So, in other words, it would be pointless, as it would only result in warnings.
